This class kicked my ass. I've never done Pilates and i survived it but the next day my legs were extremely sore and thought they were going to cramp. Luckily they didn't cramp but were extremely tight the next morning. Found out afterwards the machine is lagree not reformer so that made me feel better. The teacher was great and gave me alot of attention since he knew it was my first time. I would recommend it if you like Pilates. Note, there aren't any amenities, besides water refill, tissues and lockers. The front door is locked during class. And i was 2min late and luckily still let me in and didn't start yet. The only negative is lack of amenities. Would be nice to have a refresh station.

I have taken numerous Pilates classes over the years but I really love Form50! It focuses on form and intentional movement to get your muscles shaking and isn’t overly too high intensity, but you still will sweat and feel sore after. So glad I found this studio!

I have personally been to probably 5-6 reformer classes in the area and this by far was my favorite to the point I immediately became a member and have been regularly going. It's just as much of a test to your endurance but not that it's something that feels impossible. Testing you above your normal limits and targeting muscles you didn't know you had. The instructors are so attentive and this is the first class I wasn't looking at the clock waiting to be done. I highly highly recommend Form50 but specifically this location!

BECOMING A PILATES GIRLIE FROM SCRATCH: I attended my first F50 class after being sedentary for 2+ years — I could do about 40%, and I was super sore for 7-8 days after. I’ve now done 7 classes in about 2 months — I do close to 70% of each class (with the easy modifications), and my body recovers within 2-3 days now! The tone and definition in my body (upper abs and obliques) was noticeable within 2 classes!
So… it’s not easy. But I’m very encouraged by my progress, and feel that I can make this a part of my lifestyle.

It wasn’t my first time trying Megaformer, but it was my first class at this studio—and I’m so glad I joined! Andrew made it such an encouraging and uplifting experience. They were incredibly supportive, full of positive energy, and just a great spirit overall. If you’re already familiar with this type of “Pilates”, you’ll definitely enjoy it here. 🚨 Newcomers & ClassPass Users: Avoid This Place! 🚨
I had a terrible first experience that speaks volumes about how poorly this studio treats new clients.
I signed up for a 4:15 PM class and arrived right on time—only to find the door locked. I waited outside and rang the bell for over 15 minutes, with no response from staff. I even called their phone number — no answer. I was left standing outside with zero support.
Customer service finally returned the call the next day to say they don’t allow late arrivals, claiming I was “1 minute late.” One minute. In New York City, where life moves fast and people juggle packed schedules, this level of inflexibility is extreme and completely unreasonable.
They also claimed this strict policy is listed on their ClassPass page — I checked thoroughly, and there is no such policy mentioned anywhere.
To make matters worse, the customer service rep was dismissive and unhelpful. No apology. No ownership. Just a cold explanation that I missed the window and that’s that.
I had been excited to try this place, especially since I’m moving nearby and was looking for a new go-to studio. But after this experience, I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere.
If you’re new or using ClassPass — do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration. There are plenty of other gyms in the city that respect your time and actually want your business.

Form 50 is my new favorite workout in Williamsburg! The instructors have been amazing (shout out to coach belle) and I already feel myself getting stronger after a month or so. There’s a lot of one on one instruction so I know my form is getting better. There’s also a beginner class they offer a few times a week so if you’re trying for the first time you’ll be with other beginners too and get a lot of hands on instruction. The classes are so fun and I actually look forward to going (which never happened to me with some other chain Pilates studios). They do a lot better job at working your full body / including heavier weights than some other reformer classes I’ve done elsewhere. Definitelyrecommend!

This was my first time taking a form 50 class (and my fist pilates class ever) and Nicole was such a great teacher! Before class started she came up to me, introduced herself, explained how to use the reformer, and made it feel like a really personalized experience. She gave clear instructions and was able to offer personalized adjustments throughout the class. Definitely a tough workout but she offered encouragement throughout and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend and take Nicole’s class again!

I found Form50 when I was looking for something new to add to my fitness mix and I'm glad I did. I've been to a handful of classes so far and have found them equal parts welcoming and challenging. The routine is similar enough from class to class that I feel like I get the hang of it more each time, but different enough that it keeps things interesting and works different muscle groups. The instructors bring a lot of energy into the room, and the classes are large enough to accommodate a good size group but small enough to receive attention and adjustments that help improve my practice. I also like how they liken different movements to the way we move IRL (lugging suitcases, walking steps, bending and moving, etc.) - I would recommend trying it if you're curious.

I've taken many Pilates reformer classes -- SLT, Solidcore, you name it. I am not exaggerating when I say Form50 has been my favorite studio to date. In every class I've done the instructors are super welcoming and they take time to check in individually with every person at the beginning of class, whether it's a few people or the class is fully packed. Let's not forget the BURN. The classes are challenging but still approachable. I've been hooked since my first visit!

One of my favorite low-impact exercise classes. It's definitely more pilates-adjacent since you're moving to a beat but the workout is just as challenging, no matter how many times you go. It really helps that the instructors are there cheering you on and making corrections to your form. They're also all very energetic and make the effort to learn everyone's names. I'm always greeted and asked how I am as soon as I walk through the door. Finally, I love Form50's playlists--I usually go to the morning classes so the songs really help wake me up and get me in the mood to move my body. It really is the best 50 minutes of my day!

Form50 has been my go to studio in the area! I've been taking 1-2 classes a week for about 2 months and I see such a difference in my core strength and posture. The first class was killer and I was sore for about a week. But the vibes, instructor and workout, as hard as it was, were so great that it's become my weekly routine.
I love their Form Your Foundations class as it focuses on the basics of getting your form down and really works your muscles in those isometric holds. The instructors are friendly and come around before class to learn your name and any injuries that you might have and then during the workout actually help fix your form. With other studios, instructors mainly fix your form if you're completely off, but at form50 they help with everything, even those micro adjustments to make sure you're engaging all the right muscles. They also provide encouraging motivation through the hard workouts which I love, as opposed to being yelled at as motivation during workouts.
All to say, if you want an incredibly effective workout with supportive instructors who actually come around to help you with your form, Form50 is the place to be.

To start with the positives - the studio is nice, clean and well maintained. The girl at the front was very nice.
Unfortunately the rest of the experience left such a bad taste in my mouth. I come from doing Lagree mainly and the occasional Solidcore class, which I know Form 50 is not, but thought I would try this class because their reformers are similar to the Lagree megaformer. The class itself lacked diversity of movements. Additionally, the suggested spring load by the instructor for certain moves was entirely too much for the average student. I struggled to keep my form and others around me did too which is the complete opposite intention of the class which is literally called Form Your Foundation. Not being able to maintain the integrity of the move because the spring load was beyond my bodies strength threshold and then being instructed to do moves “double time” was entirely unsafe.
The worst part of the whole experience was the instructor. I mentioned to her at the beginning that I was familiar with the machine and I’ve taken similar classes. Also that I have a wonky neck, when she asked if I have any injuries.
Once class began she never stopped yapping but it didn’t feel like anything particularly constructive was coming out of her mouth. I was called out a lot which got old very quickly and began to feel passive aggressive. I haven’t had a class in a while, my body is quite tense and stiff right now so I am working through that and taking it slow while I build my strength back up. As mentioned above, the spring load on certain moves was beyond my current capacity and I struggled to maintain the integrity of my form. She repeatedly threw corrections at me, stating that because I have long legs I need to or should be able to do XYZ, with little consideration for where my body may be at physically. The fact is no, some things I can’t do right now, no matter how simple it seems. I modify for a reason, not because I’m lazy. She was pushy and loud about it. There’s a way to give hands on, personalized corrections and the way seems to have missed her entirely. When I adjusted my spring load for the following move she came over to try and change it back to what it was and when I stopped her and said “this is where I’m at today” her response was a passive aggressive “oh I see what we’re doing here”.
She continued to call me out throughout class by saying stuff like “bet Katie didn’t expect she was going to get hazed today”. I did appreciate a couple corrections she gave to me which were valid and helpful. But overall I heard my name called out in class way too many times than was necessary. I don’t find instructors who do this supportive or fun. It’s annoying and really steals from the experience. I don’t come to these classes to be singled out or shamed or embarrassed masked as “encouragement”. I didn’t need the fake “let’s give Katie an applause” at the end. It felt so performative and weird. I usually find pilates very meditative and it turns my mind off but I wanted to leave halfway through and frankly I left angry.
I bought that $42 intro special where I get a second class for free but I wouldn’t return after this. I wish I could get my money back entirely. It was waste.

I've tried dozens of studios offering reformer workouts in NYC and can confidently say Form50 is the absolute best! The workouts are incredibly intense but with modifications and active recoveries offered throughout. My favorite thing about Form50 though is definitely the coaches—I've met three at this location so far and they are all amazing at what they do. I've been to Solidcore, Bodyrok, SLT, Vaura, and this is absolutely my favorite HIIT pilates workout in the city. I've never purchased a membership at a studio until Form50. I absolutely love the classes. They a couple different versions: form your foundations and total body + a stretch class. At first, I would avoid the form your foundations classes because I thought they'd be too easy but they're actually one of my favorites (I've done over 100 classes). They really focus on your form, as you're doing less moves but doing those moves for longer, so you can really perfect your form and learn the moves. I like to do 2 form and 2 total body classes a week with a stretch class every week or so. I will say, it takes a while to get the hang of the megareformer, understand the names of the moves and every instructor/coach is different. So I recommend going to a minimum of five classes with five different coaches before you decide if its for you or not. The workout has toned my body and I honestly look forward to my workout each day. I hope they expand and open up more locations!

Love it! I have attended a few classes in Midtown East and Williamsburg. Both studios are very clean and the instructors are great. The instructors have motivating music, share modifications throughout the class and provide a challenging 50 minutes. I absolutely loveeeee form50 in Williamsburg, I have been on my fitness journey for a few years now but have never managed to stay consistent because I’ve never fell in love with any gym or work out class. I’ve tried other pilates classes and different gyms and none of them can come close to form50. I attended the first class through classpass & I immediately signed myself up. The staff is super friendly & welcoming. The environment is clean & aesthetically pleasing. It’s pink which I love. The classes are small so the coaches pay attention to you and help you make adjustments or correct your form if necessary. Those 50 minutes are killer but the feeling afterwards is euphoric. The coaches motivate you and make you want to push yourself to your limits. I love the form50 community. Definitely worth the money.

I absolutely love going to Form50 in Williamsburg- it’s my favorite reformer pilates studio. The form your foundation is great for beginners but still challenging, and I always leave shaking after a total body sculpt class. It’s the best!
They change up the workouts each class so you can always expect something new, and the instruction is very clear so I’m never confused when transitioning to a new position. I also like how long you’re in each position so you’re not rushing from one position to the next. Every instructor I’ve had has been amazing, and I really appreciate how they go around and give hands on corrections. There’s a real emphasis on using proper form, which is so important to prevent injuries.

I am obsessed with Form50! It is unlike any other Pilates/pilates inspired workout I’ve ever done. I’ve taken both the form your foundation and the total body sculpt classes and both are so challenging in their own way (even the warmup!). There is definitely an emphasis on core movements but every class is a full body workout. Majority of the class is slow and controlled but there will be bursts of quick intensity thrown, so it never feels like we in a position for too long. What I love the most is how intentional we are with each move and how quickly we flow through class. I've taken classes with Kelsye, Evy, and Rothy. All were extremely challenging. Don't be alarmed if you can't stay in the movements for the full period. It's WORKING. I mostly do CrossFit and use Barre and megaformer classes for cross training, and this is one of the best compliments I've found for heavy lifting. The day after a class with Kelsye, my squats just felt so solid. In general I think the level of instruction here is much better than at other megaformer chain studios I've been to in the city. They cue well, and it's just so hard to stay in it, you really need someone charismatic to push you.

I wanted to give Pilates and Pilates-inspired classes a try so I decided to take a class with Form50 through ClassPass. Actually, I saw all of the pink and I was like I NEED to come here. My first class was with Belle and I signed up for the unlimited pass immediately after. All of the instructors are sweet, motivating BADDIES, and the workouts kick your butt in the BEST way! And no pressure ever if you need to catch your breath. I feel so accomplished after a class. None of the workouts will ever be repetitive. I’m not even done with the unlimited yet and I already look and feel so much stronger.
I go to the Williamsburg studio. It can be a little crammed up at times between the always clean bathrooms and the lockers so I’d recommend coming dressed if you can. The studio itself is also a little small but the machines are staggered expertly so I always have more than enough room for all of the moves. Those were just FYI, although I wish there was a locker room I really don’t care because the workout is so worth it! And they’re opening a bigger studio in Midtown this summer. I’m not even done with the 2 week unlimited yet and I already look and feel so much stronger.
Clearly I can go on and on but I love it here, try it out!! Even if it’s just to work out under the hot pink lights always😍💗 where else can you do that????

If you're a fan of megaformer pilates like Solidcore, SLT and Legree, then FORM50 is a must-do. It is done on a similar machine however the moves are super unique and combine the slow movement of the other classes with faster movements that really take the muscle burn and cardio to the next level. I am an EXTREMELY tough critic when it comes to group fitness classes, but when it opened up down the block in Williamsburg I had to give it a try - after a single class, I was immediately hooked. I am so so sore after every class and somehow the classes seem to pass so quickly. I love it!!

I've been taking classes at FORM50 for about a month now, and they've been amazing! The foundation classes are challenging and especially great for beginners to get familiar with the machines and structure of class. The instructors are engaging and motivating, they correct your form when needed and keep the energy up throughout class. FORM50 pushes me to challenge my body and I leave class feeling strong (and sore). Definitely my current favorite ClassPass studio.
