So happy to have found this gym! Love that there are classes every hour. The gym is clean, organized, equipment is in excellent condition. The workouts are easy to scale up or down, always something different, the music is upbeat, the staff is very knowledgeable, welcoming, helpful. Definitely recommend!

I have been going to F3F for about 8 months now and I'm so happy I found something that I can stick with! It's crazy to say that I look forward to the 5 am classes but it's a great way to start my day. I am easily able to take classes around my own schedule with the instructor lead or Fitvision options. All the equipment is there and honestly the playlists are pretty great lol Instructors are there for help or motivation, whatever you need. Definitely recommend giving Formula 3 Fitness a try if you're looking for something new.

I joined Formula3 in February 2025 to help me start a lifestyle change. I started with 3 days per week, but moved to 5 days once I got used to the workouts, which are challenging but just what I need! I love the 45 minute, all in one workout station format. I’m feeling great and now looking forward to my 200th workout! I love the flexibility in signing up for classes, too.

I want to call out Coach Hannah, who has encouraged me, guided me, and given me confidence-and some nutrition tips too! Her toughness is perfectly motivating, while not going over the edge. Her passion for exercise and nutrition are clearly visible. She explains the exercises during the workout, telling how it helps your body. She asks how you’re feeling, and she encourages you to push your self-and that’s why I’m here!! She is a GEM, Formula3–Do Not Let Her Go!!!

I really love this gym! The classes are efficient and as hard as you need/want them to be. There is a good mix of cardio and resistance training in every class. You reserve your spot and all the equipment you need is at each station so you never need to get there really early to make sure you get the right weights. The times of the classes are convenient and the app is user friendly. I highly recommend Formula 3 Fitness in Lancaster!

I would still give this place a 0. Don't be fooled by a new scanning machine, those are a joke, and why do all of their photos of clients look the same from when they started to months later? I was a member for 4 years and I hit a brick wall with their training. Not only did my knee get worse, I could never lose weight or body fat due to a horrible restrictive diet and my body got used to their "updated" training. Their training does not change much, just where they place their exercises. They recycle trainers like mad and they don't have the time to check/correct form.

Torrid is a very nice person, but there is little to no interaction at all whatsoever in terms of coaching the clients. Every class is the same there is encouragement that is given out and the coach stands in the same position and does not instruct anyone. There is very little reason to be motivated to push yourself.

Tyler and the entire team of trainers were amazing through the challenge! Keeping us motivated, checking in on us every step of the way and giving us a push when we needed it! They gave us feedback and helped with my limited range of motion and gave tons of modifications to do so I wouldn’t hurt myself while still recovering. I did the Challenge that was offered in October and I'm really happy with the results. My wife and I signed up for a one-month trial via groupon. We gave it a go. We are still sore and tired after the sessions, but outside of that, both of us feel stronger. Aches and pains which used to bother us don't as much.
I used to be afraid of some movements that might hurt my neck ... but after a few weeks working out, my neck isn't as easily wacked out of alignment.

We signed up for a year. I believe it is an investment in our health for ten years down the line.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They help us if we have difficulty with some exercises, so we still get the most value out of the workout.

Update: since Covid, we are still going, and continue to believe the classes are good for us. There's no real competition for these classes, and it's the only place (lancaster) that has 7p classes on Tues/Thurs!

I've had new year resolutions before ... but the 45 minute workouts they give beat others that I've tried.

I just completed the F3 21 day challenge. I was pleased to have lost 6 pounds, but I gained so much more energy and have felt great. The coaches were there for me to help with any questions I had along the way. The nutrition plan was simple to follow & had plenty of flexibility to fit into my busy lifestyle. I can't wait to continue on with this long after the challenge. My favorite part was the workouts. You get a fabulous workout in just 45 minutes. There is no waiting around because everyone has their own space and equipment. The workout can be tailored to everyone's specific needs. The coaches and members are all supportive of each other. I can't recommend F3 enough! If you are not sure, just give it a try!

I joined Formula 3 Fitness after I saw they were having a 5 week challenge. What better way to kick off my fitness journey than with a challenge?!
I’m the type of person that needs to be told what to do (fitness only lol) and be held accountable otherwise I would give up. The workouts are a fast 45 minutes and you leave feeling amazing instead of *dead* They are all very motivating, encouraging, helpful and overall GREAT people! You truly feel like they’re friends you’ve had forever. They celebrate small victories but make them feel like they’re huge! I see myself working out here forever!
Side note…in the challenge I lost a total of 18lbs and 2.9% body fat. And I’m not done yet! Thank you for helping me figure out what works for ME!

I attend classes at the Hamburg location and have only positive things to say. The trainers are amazing and readily suggest adjustments to compensate for injuries, like recovery from hernia surgery. In the year that I’ve been a member, my bad cholesterol has dropped by over 30 points, good cholesterol increased and triglycerides are terrific. My doctor attributed these improvements to workouts at this phenomenal gym. I feel stronger and am ready to take on the day every day!

I have been a member for over a year, and this is by far the best gym I have ever been apart of. The trainers are phenomenal and strive to help you achieve your goals and want you to succeed in crushing them. They work around injuries, giving alternatives to the regular workout plan if needed and always check to see how your feeling if additional modifications need to be made. They’re open 7 days a week and offer many different class times to accommodate as many members as possible. I went away with my traditional gym membership at a previous location, as you don’t get the same workout at other facilities as you do at formula 3. Just completed the 5 Week Challenge and I absolutely would recommend it! Been part of this gym for a little over a year now and I did the challenge last year and lost some weight but gained it back and wanted to do this again to get myself back on track. Diet plans were easy to follow. Workouts are always fantastic, that target every part of your body and really help you start getting on track to start losing weight. The coaches there are amazing and each one of them brings a different aspect to the workouts. Making each class the best it can be. Always making sure you are doing the workout correctly to not hurt yourself, but push you do your best. During the challenge they help you with food recommendations/ ideas to change your meal plans to help lose the weight and get betters understand about health and fitness. They answer any questions you have during the challenge and really do encourage you. Not just say they help you and not actually help. They encourage you to always give 100% no matter what it is and always willing to help. Would recommend this gym to anyone that is looking to start getting healthy or just wants to start somewhere.

I just finished the 5 Week Fitness Challenge and it has really changed how I look at fitness and food. I lost 14 lbs. and feel great. The workouts are challenging but amazing. I have never gotten such a full body workout and the classes are different everyday so it's always interesting and a lot of fun. The trainers are amazing and they keep your motivation up and push you to your capacity. Its such a great environment to be in and I'm so glad I found a place I can get an amazing workout in and feel like I'm fully supported in my journey. The meal plan was an adjustment at first but once I became used to it, the weight fell off and I ended up feeling so much better. I learned so much about food, sugar and carbs and what all of it does to our bodies. I have come out of this challenge feeling fit and healthy and so much better than before. I will continue down this path and continue with the classes. I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs that jumpstart. You will be supported throughout the whole way and won't ever feel like you're alone.

** Update. Even though the workouts at this place are great they did eventually wreak havoc on my body from the intensity. Also they require vaccination to enter which is unacceptable.

I recently took part in the 5 week challenge at this location. The coaches were supportive and helpful from the first day I walked in the door. They provided me the tools I needed including meal plans and motivation to be successful on completing the challenge. The coaches were friendly and helped to push you during the workouts, including challenging you with heavier weights or more repetitions. I will use this challenge as a starting point in my fitness journey and would highly recommend anyone looking for a challenge , to lose weight, or to simply be healthier to check it out. Be careful when signing up for a membership. The memberships “automatically renew”. They offer a month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 month memberships. I signed up the 3 month membership thinking it ended in September. I got a charged another month because I didn’t “call to cancel” my 3 month membership. I spoke to a manger as soon as I seen the charge and they refused to refund me my money or even offer 50% back. Automatically renewing a 3 month membership is a scam.
For a small, local business im disappointed on how they handled this situation.

I recently completed a weight loss challenge at Formula 3 Fitness. The fact that I lost weight while working out and following the nutritional guidelines was just a bonus! I just completed my 5 week challenge and I loved it. The workouts are challenging and the best part is the entire workout is 45 min start to finish and you burn a ton of calories. In 5 weeks I lost 36.2 pound or 13.8%. I feel great and look a lot different. The trainers are great and the nutrition plan was not hard to follow for me at all. lots of meat fish and cheese. if your serious about getting a kick start in your weight loss this program is definitely worth doing. you have to put money down so it will make you accountable...I found this program great !

I feel amazing! Just finished my 2nd challenge about three weeks ago. My first challenge I lost 19 lbs, this 2nd challenge I lost 10 lbs. The best part, is I'm keeping it off. I still go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week and my body feels great. The trainers have been very helpful moving into this phase. I'm been still receiving emails on how to maintain my weight loss, without really dieting. Just making better and healthier choices. One simple healthy choice, leads to more healthy choices. This was my second time completing the 5 week challenge. I love this gym and the way the classes are run. After the first challenge I became a member because I liked it so much. The workouts are challenging, but can be modified if need be and they are always changing things up so you don't get bored. The trainers are amazing and so helpful. Staying healthy has always been at the forefront of my goals. In the past, I struggled with weight gain, mainly due to having children. I would join a new gym and try any fitness class I could, but then I would become unmotivated, and quite honestly, bored at the same offered classes and workout routines. Additionally, making time to better yourself can be quite difficult while trying to balance a work and home life. I have three kids, and when I am not at work, I spend most of my time tending to their needs and extracurricular activities. Finding time to put what I need first can be challenging. One thing I have learned over the years is that there is no magic wand that will produce a convenient time to work out, I have had to make it. Commitment is not easy, it is hard work. With that said, when you do carve out a part of your day to work out, you want it to feel worthwhile and see results.

I was pleasantly surprised when a friend of mine suggested Formula 3 Fitness. I knew right away Formula 3 Fitness was for me. The coaches are wonderful, dedicated, and focused on providing us with the best experience possible. They provide the tools and guidance needed so we can thrive. The workouts are always different, and I love that! It keeps me from being bored, or indifferent. I find when you lose passion, it is instrumently more difficult to keep up a routine of attending classes. I like seeing my heartrate on the screen because it motivates me to keep going, which is what I need. The challenges are fun and exciting! For example, I loved the "12 days if Fitmas" challenge! Formula 3 Fitness is a place where you are more than just your monthly dues, you are a member of the team, a team that wants to see you reach your goals and be healthy. Formula 3 Fitness is a significant part of my life and has given me the tools, support, and motivation I need to be healthy. I just completed the 5 week challenge on Saturday. Thank you for all that you do! I had a baby in August and NONE of my pants were fitting me. I was really struggling postpartum with my body image and did not want to buy bigger pants. Over the last 5 weeks, I lost 15.7 pounds! Around week 3 I was able to button my pants. Week 4, they were comfortable again and Week 5, someone commented that they were starting to look big! I am so thankful this gym is so close to my house. Having 3 kids, it is REALLY hard to find time to get a workout in. The gym being 5 minutes from my house and a 45 minute class makes it so easy to get there each day. I was working out in my basement before starting this program but the workouts don't even compare! I burn close to 700 calories in each 45 minute class. I was really nervous in the beginning being only 3 months after a C-section but the trainers were so great at providing modifications when needed and pushing me when they knew I needed it. I struggled with the diet in the beginning but Doug was so great and helpful giving me feedback each week. It was a shift in everything that I have learned in previous challenges but once I started eating correctly, I felt great! I look forward to going the gym, which is something I never thought I would say! I'm looking forward to all the changes, both mentally and physically I will make during my year long membership!

I started at Formula 3 in November of 2019. I joined a 5 week Challenge to help me get ready for my daughter's upcoming wedding. I didn't meet my goal of losing 10% of my body weight, but I did lose 8 pounds, which I was happy about, especially since it's always so hard to get through the holidays without gaining weight, let alone losing! I was nervous because I have definitely let myself go over the past couple of years, but the trainers were super helpful (especially Hanna and Eamon). They offered modifications when I needed them and encouraged me to do more than I thought I could. Even though I didn't meet my weight loss goal, I have seen a great deal of improvement in my strength and endurance, and I just feel better overall. I also learned that with the right guidance, I don't HATE working out, and actually even look forward to it after a long day. Thanks Formula 3!

As someone who grew up playing in sports all year long with coaches to motivate and push me, I value the approach of Formula 3 Fitness. I love that there is a small class environment with personal fitness stations, great instructors, and linked heart monitors to push me to work hard even when I am ready to quit. Also, having to sign up for classes has helped me to prioritize fitness into my schedule and hold myself accountable.

I decided to participate in the 5 week challenge to get back into the routine of working out and sticking to healthier food choices, along with the goal of losing weight. The workouts are designed in a way to challenge each person regardless of their current fitness level, and the nutrition plan never left me hungry and deprived. After having done two challenges now, my body fat is back to a healthy and athletic percentage, I feel stronger, my endurance has increased, I have more energy, my clothes fit better and I can see visible difference in my body. I am happy I have decided to go on this journey with Formula 3 as they have taken me into the direction I want for my overall well being.

I completed the 5 week challenge and lost almost 10 pounds during the holiday season! That's quite an accomplishment but even more so, I lost 3.8% body fat which I attribute to the fitness classes. 45 minutes and you're set for the day. Each day its a different exercise routine. I have alot more energy and feel so much better. The trainers are encouraging and knowledgeable. I would recommend Formula3 to anyone looking to get in shape!

If I could give Formula 3 Fitness less than one star I would, this is because of their Business Ethics. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the definition of a SCAM is “a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation”, I would say that definition is pretty spot on for Formula 3 Fitness. I went to their orientation for the 5-Week Fitness Challenge, Doug the head trainer, was giving the presentation and stated numerous times how this program stands out from the other ones, he explicitly told us that it stands out because every milestone we reach we receive money back for our hard work. Sounds great, right? WRONG! He “forgot” to mention that you will not receive your $500 deposit back unless you complete the challenge of 10% of your body weight and all the other milestones along the way that you reach (2% body weight) are just $100 towards a discounted membership. This is only discounted because of the money you already spent and earned back along the way. So, on top of paying the $500 you've given them you then have to pay them more money for a 3 month membership because that is the only option they offer you. When I signed up for this challenge I had to sign the contract right then and there because we were told the spots were limited and we had to put a down payment down that day. I was never given a copy of the contract and when I asked why I never received a copy to review their answer was "you never asked", what company does not give their client a copy of a contract unless their are hiding something.The only positive thing to say about this company is that the regular trainers, like Eamon and Hannah, who I had because I take my classes after work were great, they motivated you and checked in on how you’re doing and helped modify the work out to my ability level. Other than that I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be SCAMMED!

This is group training on steroids--you’ve never experienced something like this, I promise! I recently completed the 5 week challenge and had a great experience. The formula 3 Gym is a great place to work out. Coming in to work your butt off for 50min is a great way to start your day. The trainers are great. They are able to both modify things you may need help with and challenge you to push yourself and get better everyday. During the challenge it was extremely helpful to have access and support from a nutritional point of view. Constant support and weekly check-ins was a huge part of my success in this challenge. Just after 5 weeks of joining this gym I lost 10% of my weight with 4% being pure fat! This gym is basically the most efficient work out I have ever had. The trainers being the greatest motivators as their close proximity keeps you on your toes, holding yourself accountable to give it your best effort! They take the time to give individual care and attention to everyone in class and make sure your movements are accurate so you don't hurt yourself or speed things up to elevate your heart rate. I personally love when they see me on an exercise and they know I can maybe go a little heavier or a little faster and help me challenge myself even on the days where I know I should but lack that extra effort. I don't know where else you can go to get in and out in less than an hour and burn calories that'll cover that milkshake you might've snuck in for a small road trip over the weekend. Formula 3 Fitness keeps it exciting, fun and efficient which will keep bringing me back week after week. Oh and the new muscle definition is pretty cool, I guess ;)

I am writing today to review and share my thoughts on the 5 week challenge that I recently completed with the help of the GREAT staff at Formula 3 Fitness in Lancaster. I have been unable to workout for nearly a year due to 3 herniated discs in my back. I had become very sedentary and had gained a ton of weight. After requiring epidural injections for my back pain, I decided to try to lose some weight. The Lancaster location was having a 5 week challenge to lose 10% of your body weight. I wasn't going in thinking I would succeed, I was just looking to get back into a routine . Well, trainers Sarah and Jeff really took me under their wings, and with their help , motivation, and constant attention to me and my need to protect my back, I got into a safe rhythm and CRUSHED! I lost almost 12 % of my bodyweight , and can already see the improvement in my core strength!! Ashley L was amazing as well , providing GREAT nutrition info , recipe ideas and locations to find plan friendly products, and a bright smile and CAN-DO attitude that is infectious! ( THANK YOU ) She really made a huge difference in my success. I am happy to have conquered this first step , and look forward to continuing on as a member at Formula 3 to keep my progress going !! I joined this gym for a 5 week weight lose challenge. What I really enjoy about this gym is how I can go there, do my workout and continue on with my day, all within an hour. That is huge for me, as I work and have three little children. They do all the "thinking" for you! Also, the workouts are always different so you don't get bored and they go by so fast. Every trainer I've come across is super friendly and they try their best to motivate you and alter the workout for you personally. With the 5 week challenge, nutrition was a huge part of the process as well. This diet was brand new to me and the most challenging piece of it but someone is always available to answer any questions you may have. Everyone is very helpful but you will not be able to complete such a challenge without self-control and determination and pushing yourself. I am so proud to say that by the end of the challenge I reached my goal. I feel stronger and lighter and have more energy. I really enjoy this gym and the trainers and would recommend trying it out.

I needed a serious reset! I was out of shape, flabby and had let myself go – not so terrible that there was no coming back – but bad enough that I felt it and looked it. My husband had heard of Formula3 Fitness and I checked out their website. There was information about a 5 week challenge and I knew it was just what I needed. A realistic commitment that I could make to get back to me, both in mind and body! Within 48 hours I had signed my husband and I up for the challenge, we were weighed in, we grocery shopped and showed up for our first workout. The program works. Eat right, work hard (sometimes very hard – but you feel great afterwards) and commit to making a health change. That is what it was about for me. Taking the time to be healthy is worth it and when you start to see the results you know it is worth it. And I did see the results. For the first week my body was SORE!!! But it was a good sore. I worked out 4 days a week, ate the right foods, cut out the sugars and carbs, made some great healthy changes to my lifestyle. I lost 12.2 pounds in 5 weeks. I feel great, I have a better routine, I am making healthier choices and look forward to keeping it up this time and not letting myself go. What I love about Formula3 Fitness (and trust me, I’ve been to gyms, I’ve done classes, I’ve taken kickboxing, yoga, etc….) is that it is a complete package. The trainers are amazing (5am guy Jeremy kicks butt – totally great guy), the owner is great, they challenge you to reach farther and aim higher during the workouts which are only 50 minutes total. The workouts include warming up those muscles, strength building with weights, flexibility, cardio, core work and stretching. The short yet intense sets of each aspect of the workout ensure maximum fat burn. Plus it’s convenient – pick a day and hour, sign up and go! In short, it was a great reset and a reminder for me of who I am and what I want to be both physically and mentally. I recommend giving it a try if you haven’t yet and see for yourself! You won’t regret it!

Wow, 5 weeks just ended and what can I say? It’s been a total transformation of my body, but also my mindset. 5 weeks ago, I was overweight, sluggish and just not happy with myself. My wife decided to enter us into the 5-week challenge and it was the best thing to ever happen to me. I lost 13% of my body weight, became more energized than ever and I am finally eating the right things to ensure I continue my journey. 5 weeks ago, I wouldn’t have even thought this way, now I don’t want to disappoint myself. I have learned self-control, set new weight loss goals and in a few months, I will be at my weight from 20 plus years ago. Oh, and did I tell you how my blood pressure has also dropped dramatically? I’m on my way to being healthy again, it’s not going to happen overnight, I know that, but I’m headed in the right direction. As for Formula3 Fitness, I couldn’t have been introduced to a better organization. All the trainers “Coaches” are amazing. They are very enthusiastic, push you to your limits, but are there to help when needed. The classes themselves are great and change daily. I like that the best as it’s not the same old routine. After 45 minutes of warm-ups, strength, cardio and stretching, you feel exhausted, but also energized as well. The owner Orlando is great as well, always positive and when he runs the class, be ready, he’s going to make you earn your workout. I enjoyed my 5 weeks so much, that I signed up for a year membership. I can’t wait to see what I can achieve!

I joined a 5 week challenge that started in May at Formula 3 Fitness in Lancaster with the goal of getting back to regular workouts, feeling better, and losing some weight. I was feeling tired all the time, and knew it was time for a change.
At the end of 5 weeks, I am happy to say I hit my goal of losing 18 pounds and am much stronger than I’ve been in awhile…I am feeling great!
My experience with the 5 week challenge at Formula 3 Fitness made deciding to become a member an easy one.
My favorite part as a busy Mom of three is that I can get in the gym and get an amazing, full-body workout in 45 minutes…most times burning as many as 500 calories! The trainers are all so great and really push you to give your best effort. I would never challenge myself like this working out on my own…the small group atmosphere is fun and keeps you motivated. They offer many convenient class times, so no excuses.
I was impressed with the consistent guidance, feedback and support we all received during the challenge including info for maintaining weight moving forward. The staff is really knowledgeable, always willing to offer up modifications to help you get your best workout even if you have some physical limitations. They are happy for you in your successes and work hard to help you get there!

I joined a 5 week challenge at Formula 3 Fitness and because the knowledge and Nutritional support of all the staff I was able to Dominate and I WON by losing more than my target goal of 27.2 and losing a total of 31.4 pounds.

The Trainers are Amazing, the best I've ever seen. Because of this I knew I would no doubt meet or exceed the challenge. They have the ability to change any and all exercises to fit anyone's fitness level.

I signed up for the 5 week challenge in May 2018 at F3 and I am so happy I did…this place is amazing! First off the Lancaster location for me is perfect, only a few minutes from my house. This is great for me being a mom of 2 small kids and their full schedules. The classes run all day starting from 5AM to 7PM so I can always fit in a class that works best for me. The classes are only 45 minutes but are full body intense workouts! It’s like have your own personal trainer! I’ve never been to a gym like this one…I’m so happy I found it! In just 5 weeks with their nutrition plan I was able to lose 19lbs . The owners and trainers are ALL amazing! They really care about you and your success. I love F3!!!! Great workouts, great time slots to pick from, and amazing trainers!! I love the small group personal training!! The owners and trainers genuinely care about their members! You get more one on one attention and individualized instruction!! I have been to many gyms and this one is so clean and welcoming!! Very different from a typical gym! I never feel intimidated and I know I will get in a great workout!! I have been a member of Formula 3 since feb 2018 and decided to take the 5 week fit challenge they were offering starting in May!! So glad I did! Now I am a person that enjoys exercise and I try to keep in fairly good shape after having 3 kids but I just needed something more! A boost to meet my personal fitness goals! F3 is the place to meet your health and wellness goals!! The workouts are quick and intense which I need being a full time working mom on the go!!!! I joined Formula 3 Fitness in March of 2018 when they opened the Lancaster location. Gyms have always been intimidating to me and I've never been very successful. However, after going to the open house and meeting the trainers and speaking with them I knew this was the "gym" for me. The workouts are awesome and intense but the trainers are there motivating you and supporting you the whole way. Then came the opportunity to participate in the 5 week challenge. The results of this 5 week challenge have completely surpassed my expectations. Not only did I lose 17 lbs but I gained so much more - I feel stronger than ever before, I feel much more confident and all around have more energy throughout the day which is crucial being a stay-at-home mom of 3 little ones. Before this challenge I was dreading going into another summer where I knew my clothes would be too tight and I'd be stuck living in a world of yoga pants and baggy t-shirts just to cover myself up. I now feel confident enough to wear clothes with zippers and buttons because they go on easily. The eating plan provided for this challenge was exactly what I needed to get myself focused on making myself feel better and making good choices. I learned a lot about nutrition and what works best for me. The coaches throughout this challenge were extremely supportive, engaging, available, and really were essential in this process. They were there for every struggle to help come up with solutions and ways to stay on track and you knew they wanted the best for you and for you to succeed and reach your goal. I am extremely proud of myself and know that even though this challenge has ended my journey has just begun and without Formula 3 Fitness this would have never happened. I am very appreciative and grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone looking to pursue a positive and healthy lifestyle.
