I have been with Glen Dance Studio for 16 years and have danced there for 15. Glen Dance Studio has become my second home and without it, I would be a completely different person. All of the teachers at Glen Dance provide opportunity for growth, give emotional support and build their dancers confidence. The teachers go above and beyond to see their dancers improve. Aside from a dance studio, Glen Dance is a family. Ms. Kim's love for dance and her kindheartedness has made Glen Dance such a positive experience. She really wants her dancers to thrive and wants to see everyone improve- even the ones she doesn't teach. Encouragement is huge here and every teacher truly does care for every student.
I've also danced competitevly with Glen Dance, raising money for various charities, going on trips and learning teamwork with Glen Dance. Every year, the GDS company holds a benefit performance raising money for charities such as Ronald McDonald House really showing that Ms.Kim loves to give back from the good of her heart and that is something irreplaceable. The team has also had the opportunity to dance in places such as a cruise, Disney and Rome. Ms.Kim and the other teachers are always looking for opportunities to expand her student's dancing and learning, taking workshops in these various places to improve her dancers and provide them with experiences that are one in a lifetime. Lastly, Glen Dance has given me my best friends. Theres no other place that I'd want to spend every night. The girls and boys that dance at glen dance become your family and the relationships you build with each other go outside of the studio and are friendships that you hold for forever. This also applies to teachers. Many of them become mentors over time and watch you grow not only as a dancer but as a person and having those connections with people for so long provides a sense of comfort and compassion.
If you get the chance to dance with Glen Dance Studio, take it. As someone who danced there their whole life, I wouldn't have it any other way. Being graduated, I also know that when in doubt, glen dance is somewhere I can always call home no matter the age and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

My girls have been students of glen dance for the past 5 years. This is such a professional establishment that focuses on the true techniques of each dance style. All while having fun! My girls love their classes and their teachers. We love Glen Dance and plan to be part of their family for years to come.

My daughter, Cathleen, has been dancing at Glen Dance Studio for the past 5 years. She LOVES going to the studio for classes, camp, and everything else! She practically lives there! I have to talk her down from taking all the classes. She has grown to be more confident, and she definitely learned not only dance moves, but also technique and choreography. Most importantly, all the teachers and dancers are very supportive of each other. Ms. Kim also sets a wonderful example of always giving back to the community through various charities throughout the year. This is a very special place where your child will be very happy.

My daughter is 13 years old and has been dancing competitively for 5 years. She danced competitively for 4 years at another studio before switching to Glen Dance this year. All I can say is I wish we had made the move earlier!

It's never easy changing studios, but Kim and her staff went above and beyond to help my daughter feel comfortable and to ensure she was in the right classes for her ability. There are so many options for classes, both in times, levels and types. She progressed beautifully this year and felt seen and appreciated, despite being new to the company. She was embraced by the other dancers and her teachers, and feels at home even after dancing there for such a short time.

While the dancers compete, I found that there is so much more to this studio than the competitions. The dancers learn choreography from every class they take, not just their competition dances. This was a striking difference for us, and afforded our daughter the opportunity to learn so much more over a years span. They even had an optional performance at Disney over the summer, which was such a memorable experience. Kids that didn't attend were not penalized whatsoever. They also encouraged their students to audition for the Joffrey summer ballet intensive. Their commitment to seeing their students improve was evident, regardless if it meant losing dancers for Disney or their own summer classes at the studio.

While we have only been here a year, we have not felt that competitive/cut-throat vibe that one can feel on a competition team. It has felt very supportive and fair. The staff is all warm and approachable, and it's really been fun getting to know them outside of the studio. At the end of the day, Kim and her teachers just want to see their dancers improve. It's been a refreshing and positive change for us!

My daughter has been dancing at Glen Dance for the past 5 years. She has grown so much in her dance ability, flexibility and confidence. Kim and her staff of teachers have such a great way of explaining dance terminology and demonstrating how positions and movements should look. My daughter can name and demonstrate so many ballet positions. Not only am I so proud of her but SHE is so proud of herself. Kim and her team gave my daughter the greatest dance experience. Our daughter started with Pre Combo all the way up to Elite Company. We became friends with everyone at Glen Dance. Our daughter is in college now but we will always cherish the memories here. We hope to stay friends with Kim, her family and staff.

If you want to introduce your daughter/son to dance or take your experienced dancer to the next level, Glen Dance Studio meets both needs. For the past few years, my older daughter has been dancing at the studio and she is learning and improving her dance technique. She is also expanding her knowledge of various styles of dance she has not been exposed to before her experience at Glen Dance. My younger daughters are beginners there and are having fun learning dance in a friendly environment. The teachers are just as knowledgable and patient with my daughters that are just learning how to dance, as they are with my daughter who is in the dance company. The girls not only learn to dance, but have made great friends and learn to respect each other and themselves. Healthy self confidence is being built and as a parent I couldn’t be happier!
We are also very thankful to Glen Dance for showing the importance of public awareness to our girls. Glen Dance participates in charitable work and performances for the local communities.

My girls have been with Glen Dance for almost 15 years and absolutely love it there. Through the studio, they have not only learned how to dance beautifully, but they have also learned the importance of teamwork, respect and compassion for their peers, and a sense of self-esteem and confidence. What's even just as valuable and more unique is the studio's belief and teaching of giving back to the community through dance. Over the years my girls have done numerous benefit performances to raise money for childhood leukemia, cerebral palsy and other charities, held costume drives for the handicapped and also collected donations to send to our soldiers in Iraq.

From 3 years old to adulthood, the studio offers such a wide variety of dance genres that anyone could find a class to fit their needs. My girls love this dance studio and all of the teachers and staff are very professional, kind and dedicated.
The studio is all about heart. Oh - and dance too! The students are not only taught great skills, but they are taught sportsmanship and teamwork and they all have a sense of altruism. The studio regularly performs, and competes, but also throws benefits and charity performances to raise money for worthy causes. This all stems from the owner's love for dance and goodwill. Kim is a very busy professional, but nonetheless she is on top of her studio's operation; she knows every student by name and regularly commends them and uses positive reinforcement to encourage them - no matter how skilled or unskilled the dancer. She even mails personal complimentary notes to dancers to eoncourage them. Glen Dance = high class. As parents, we all have censuring eyes when it comes to our kids' care and how they are handled. However, as you allow for time to pass, you will witness how a special dance school such as Glen Dance Studio, actually acts as a vehicle to enrich the lives of our children, and ourselves.

Dance teacher Tanya puts her ego and attitude ahead of a child's experience with dance. She has no issue repeatedly telling a student in front of her classmates that she will never learn the recital dance. However, what Tanya fails to realize is that this is more a reflection of her teaching skills rather than a child's ability to learn. Unfortunately, I have learned that in this dance studio the teacher is put ahead of the student and due to this I will be looking for a better environment for my child.

My child is in his 6th year at Glen Dance. He has grown as a dancer and as a performer and truly loves what he does, thanks to a great staff who came to know him personally and encouraged his talents. My daughter has been attending Glen Dance for 5 years and she loves it!! And as parents so do we!! L has grown so much in her dancing ability and coordination. She loves going every week and loves to come home and show what she has learned. As a parent I love how organized Ms. Kim (the director) is with scheduling. The matinee shows in June are perfect in length for the young dancers and when you sign the kids up for more than one class you know exactly which show they will be in and can make sure you don't sign up for two different shows if possible!! The teachers are sweet. The kids have fun but also know the rules and that's what helps them learn so much. Definitely recommend Glen Dance for anyone looking for a dance school in the area!! It's great!!

Fantastic Dance studio. The teachers are experts in their dance fields and choreography and wonderful and patient with the student. There are a wide variety of classes in every dance genre. The owner, Ms. Kim is a wonderful role model to the students. She values the technique and the fun rather than showiness and inappropriate costumes for children. Both my daughters have danced there in many classes and in company and love it there. I highly recommend Glen Dance Studio!

My oldest daughter, now 10, has been dancing at Glen Dance for 7 years now. We have had nothing but positive experiences with all of Glen Dance's teachers, staff, and other students and their families. My second & third daughters have followed in their big sister's footsteps also dance at the studio. The studio is professional, friendly and above all and very fun place for children to learn the art of dance. Policy is always clear, questions are quickly answered and the studio in general is well-maintained. My daughters love to go to the studio and we cannot imagine going anywhere else.
