At Gotham Gymnastics, our mission is to put the athlete first and elevate the sport of gymnastics in the process. By prioritizing the safety, physical health and mental well-being of our athletes over competitiveness, we cultivate a supportive community where athletes of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are inspired to perform at their highest level.
As a gym founded by coaches and parents, we are passionate about pioneering a better way for our kids to train and succeed. Together with our advisors, we are making the sport of gymnastics safer and more inspiring than ever.

The USAIGC program at Gotham is run by the most dedicated, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring staff I’ve ever encountered in any gymnastics environment. The coaches bring an incredible balance of high-level technical training, thoughtful progression, and real emotional support. They understand how to push athletes to grow while keeping the experience positive, encouraging, and confidence-building. The workers here are incredibly rude. A coach singled out my daughter, and was discussing her amongst staff in front of the entire gym. This place is way to expensive for workers to act they way they do. Very unprofessional.

They offer a great adult open gym session! The instructor leads warm-up and stretching, and then runs through basic skills if you want. The only downside is that during the school year, the hours for open gym are hard for most people. I would love to see Gotham add more adult programming to their schedule!

We Love this gym! My daughter has progressed so much as a gymnast! They are family oriented and helpful! I am glad that they are opening another location because the seating is pretty bad as there are so many people!!

This year I started going to the adult gymnastics open gym they offer for adults at any level. I couldn't find many gyms that offered something like this. On top of it all the staff actually instruct you and guide you to achieve your skills. As someone who is a complete beginner this has been amazing. Now I am motivated to stay active and have fun! I have loved Nicole and Coulter as my instructors. Encouraging, understanding and will push you when you need it. Gotham is out of the way for me, and I have to take 3 trains to get there. It never seems to matter though because I keep coming back. Thank you Gotham!

We had a surprisingly negative experience with staff at a birthday party this weekend. At the start of the party, a female staff member physically picked up my child to 'put' them in the proper spot in line without first speaking to them to explain. This wasn't intentionally rough or aggressive, but really scared my shy 5 year old. We told the staff member not to grab him and she responded with "I know how to handle kids" and ran off to get a manager, Ashley.
Ashley came in and immediately escalated the situation, raising her voice, threatened to kick us out and seemingly intentionally tried to embarrass us. Shocked and not wanting to cause a scene at a family party, we largely just gave them a bunch of 'yes m'ams.' My child refused to participate for the rest of the party after this bad interaction.
They're probably all great gymnasts, but they do not believe these staff members are good with young kids. The instructor's willingness to grab a kid before talking to them shows illustrates a lack of patience and rigidity. Ashley's tone with clients should was unprofessional at best. Gotham gymnastics should be concerned with other business their team may have lost.

Huge gymnasium! And a lot of fun for the kids. My daughter has improved a lot since she started taking classes at Gotham. It tends to get crowded sometimes, but I always manage to find a spot to work.

Disclaimer: I am an adult with no gymnastics experience who has only gone to the open gym events on Tues.
This place is amazing. The instructors I have met have all been really great and educative, the amenities are abundant, and there's a lot of encouragement from the folks who attend. They make it easy and fun to be bad and be learning and it's really affordable for what you get out of it. Highly recommend!

Originally, I posted “While my daughter loves this place, they are quite bad at communicating with their clientele. We have been speaking with them since December about their February break camp and we were constantly told not to worry about it, “it will be posted on the website.” So we didn’t worry about it and would check the website. My wife called this week and the program had already filled.” Samantha from their office called and was horrified that we had that experience. She instructed us to call in, we did and she made it right.

My 6 year old little sensory kid just started private sessions here and we couldn’t be happier. The coaches and staff are super professional and patient. My little guy can be a handful but they are working with him so beautifully. I’m so excited for his growth and development at this gym.

Super cool place. They are taking all necessary steps to keep the kids safe with strict COVID protocols. Very clean. Well structured. All the teachers are very nice and really helpful as well as really teaching them gymnastics techniques rather than just letting them run all over the place.

I was very surprised a place with this amount of space exzisted in NYC! Their open gym is amazing you can go at any skill level and the instructors are delightful and will push you to achieve anything you wanna do! Wouldn't reccomend going right for a flip as a beginner as my neck has been hurting for a week and will likely never be the same

I give it one star because i was born right here in Brooklyn and they charge $960 dollars for s month thats almost like rent and i have a granddaughter that lives right up the block and she cant go because of the amount of money they are charging is bad enough we live check by check And her dream is gone cause we cant afford it they should have a program for low income families smh poor kids in the neighborhood
