Over the years we have come to realize how complex getting into shape actually is. Beyond the science of how to become faster, stronger, and be more enduring we know how sleep, hydration, nutrition, stress, mindset, and relationships affect our desired outcomes, to lose some weight or compete at the CrossFit Games. We take an athlete-centric approach to solve this problem for each individual. Our goal is to teach you the why behind our method of training. Build personal progressions in strength, endurance, and bodyweight movements to reach your physical goals while creating space to fix stressors in your life, build better nutrition and sleep habits, all the while creating a great athlete-coach relationship.

Dropped in yesterday and it was so wonderful. Coach Heather was so friendly and helpful. The athletes were very welcoming and I felt like I was at my home gym! The community, the workout and the gym itself was incredible and I’ll definitely be back when I come in to town!

I started doing Senior Fitness classes at Great Wolf CrossFit several months ago. I have been seeing an orthopedic routinely for cortisone injections in my shoulder. I recently went for my regular visit and the doctor was very very pleased with how good my shoulder was. I didn't even have to get an injection! I really think it's all due to these classes and my trainer Jen Craig. My progress is slow but it is steady. Everyone I've met over there has been awesome and very encouraging. I am not your typical CrossFitter as I am a 70-year-old woman. If I can benefit from this surely others can as well. I really hope more seniors will consider joining us!

There are a lot of perceptions about CrossFit gyms and who these gyms are for - i want to reassure you that if you are looking to start/ continue your fitness journey - CrossFit, especially CrossFit at Great Wolf is for you!
The coaches are absolutely stellar and work with you based on where you are at while also pushing you to challenge yourself and grow.
Try a trial session or week and see how supportive the coaches and other members are - you’ll be hooked !

Have had great experiences here with coaches Todd, Marissa, and Trevor! The coaches are all very knowledgeable and supportive, and very good at providing adaptive options for your skill level. I’ve enjoyed the classes I’ve taken as someone in her mid twenties, but my mother (who is a senior) goes quite frequently and it has been amazing for her. Would highly recommend for all age and fitness levels!

Chris and Sam are amazing! So helpful and knowledgeable, they really care about you overall as a person. Classes are very fun and they are always around to help with anything you may need (which is great especially for someone just starting). I’ve loved starting at perform athletics and can already see my body changing and getting stronger. I can’t wait to see the changes to come!

I started about 6 months ago and I came into this as a true beginner. Needlessly to say, my mobility coming in was pretty bad.
Fast forward 6 months later. This is the best I have felt in a long time and highly recommend checking this out at any experience level.
I owe the improvements made over the last 6 months to the patience and teaching methods of Chris and Sam. They work with you very closely to ensure you get the most out of your workouts and techniques.
The other part I love about coming here are the other members. Super friendly and willing to help each other out.

Nice little box- a little hard to find- it is behind the tops.
They have a few kettle bells bigger than 100 pounds.
Also big into the community- recently had a fund raider for breast cancer for a local care center.

The classes and personal coaching I get here target my personal fitness goals much better than me walking on a treadmill or lifting weights at a regular gym. I also like the challenge of the strength training and cardio of the classes, which are only an hour long. Convenient to fit into most schedules.

I am so happy to be a part of the community of Perform Athletix! The coaches are professional, knowledgable, organized and keep the classes running smoothly. The workouts are challenging (and completely scalable) and I'm feeling stronger and fitter than I have felt in a long time. From nutrition help to PRing your lifts, you can get it all here! The programming is challenging, easily scaleable, and always rewarding when it's over. Chris and Sam are super helpful when it comes to nutrition help and technique with your lifts. The community is bomb and there's never a dull moment! Also, having Muscle Up PT's very own, Kelsey Fink, as a coach has been AMAZING! Did I mention it's also the cleanest gym in Rochester? 10/10 would recommend!

I have had a great experience at Perform Athletix. I started in August, at my lowest ever level of fitness. Even through a broken foot, they were able to ensure I kept making progress. My weight has dropped, my body composition has changed dramatically, and I have confidence that I will continue to work towards (and perhaps beyond) my previous levels of fitness with their help. A friendly and supportive place; I feel really lucky to have found it.

CrossFit ATX helps you use core movements of life, all performed at high intensity. Over the last few years it’s become my main form of fitness and I’ve seen more improvements in my strength and conditioning than ever before. I love the intensity, the variety, the sense of community and the results I get. The people I work out with push me harder than I ever would on my own. If you want to learn, and develop a powerful body then come to CrossFit ATX. Sure I know that CrossFit is not the end all to be all when it comes to fitness and I know it’s not for everybody. But I do think CrossFit can be an incredible and enjoyable fitness journey, or a valuable supplement to an already solid fitness routine. When it comes to fitness, I think you should do whatever you enjoy and whatever you’ll actually do day after day. If it’s CrossFit, that’s awesome! Your hardest decision will soon be which day to “rest”.

I look forward to going - it’s the highlight of my day...Chris - the owner - is awesome and has done a great job of building a very welcoming friendly atmosphere where everyone does whatever they can for the day’s workout. If you need a “push” - he’s there to help you challenge yourself. Lots of laughs and fun within some serious workouts!

I joined Boot Camp class about a month ago. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The work outs are never boring & ever changing. If you are looking for a good gym I would recommend this one.
