GVA is private member Athletic Club. Members select a squad based on when they like to train and how they like to be coached. Along with two guaranteed squad sessions per week, members have access to the gym, unlimited drop-in classes, yoga, run club, strength classes, GVA recover, and monthly social events.

I absolutely love GVA! The community here is incredible, and a huge part of that is thanks to Paige, our amazing community manager. She brings so much positivity, keeps the energy high, and always has the best music playing. Since joining a year ago, I’ve gotten so much stronger and I genuinely look forward to every squad workout. The environment Paige helps create is supportive, motivating, and truly feels like an integral part of my routine now. Couldn’t recommend this gym or its community more!

Many NYC gyms aspire to be “more than a gym” these days — FLA is the club that has truly nailed it. It is a connection-forming community that happens to routinely work out together. I’ve found it to be an invitation to challenge and strengthen myself while being inspired by supportive squad mates. Strong bonds within squads make accountability feel easy. Whether it is squad dinners, recovery coffee chats, Central Park shake outs, foam rolling with friends, or Hamptons houses, there are plenty of opportunities to see that FLA is more than a place to sweat together. Of course, the weekly training and phase programming is top notch. The instructors are simply the best: Coach Cherry’s boundless positivity and energetic encouragement amps us up to rock any workout. You can always count on Coach Miguel who is a true expert in motivation to help you find another gear and show up for yourself even at 05:45. Coach Kara will thoroughly kick your butt and then leave you wanting to do it all over again the next day. I wouldn’t be feeling the results without FLA’s exceptional squad trainers. This club has it all — the coaches, the community and the collective goal of achieving fitness with friends. FLA is simply how training should be done.

I always leave GVA feeling fantastic and like I had the perfect workout. Truly, none have missed the mark. What makes the gym so special though are the amazing coaches (Jair, Jess, Rachel, Jovy, and the rest) are all so enthusiastic and supportive! plus you get to be part of a nice community in the city too—something that the athletic clubs does a great job fostering.

Moved to NYC and signed up to this gym the first week, best decision ever! Jess and Jair are two incredible humans who bless our squad every week, I've made some of the greatest friends and genuinely look forward to going each week. ALSO talk about your bang for your buck, you basically have access to classes 7 days a week where as any other gym in the city costs the same for 2 classes per week. SO SO GOOD! love my GVA fam
