My favorite gym by far! With that said, the gym does have a particular vibe that will not be for everyone. Its dimly lit, a little moody, with a little bit of a club atmosphere, all paired with the best imported Italian equipment. If that is your vibe, then look no further.

David Barton comes through with a welcoming environment. The place is aesthetically wonderful with plenty of top flight equipment. I am working with a trainer who is addressing my specific goals with skill. The people who work at this place are terrific.

The equipment is top-tier, which earns the three stars — it is a gym, after all.
However, for a place that markets itself as “luxury” or “premium,” it consistently falls short. The steam rooms are almost always “under repair,” and the showers are frequently dirty, with no premium products provided.
We pay a premium for these amenities — otherwise, we’d all just go to a regular chain gym. I won’t be renewing my membership and regret purchasing the year-long package.

$75 day pass is such a rip off that the attendant started laughing when she asked me “do you know how much it costs?” Only reason I paid is because I’m insane and the Blink Fitness ($15 day pass equally good if not better equipment) around the corner was flooded.

I was a member of Gym U for 10 months. At first, it was a great place to work out, but as time went on, more people signed up, and it became overcrowded, especially in the evenings. The management also cuts costs on the air conditioning, so it gets extremely hot when it's busy. Additionally, the showers and steam room are frequently closed.
The most disappointing part, however, was the behavior of certain privileged members, who seem to be friends of David. These individuals believe that if they need an exercise machine you’re using, you should immediately give it up. If you don’t, they start a drama—staring at you, threatening and cursing at you. Afterward, they report you and play the victim. The management, including David Barton, turns a blind eye to this behavior, even going so far as to blame you for the situation, suggesting that perhaps this gym isn't the right fit for you.
I ultimately decided to cancel my membership, though I still had 3 days left. Despite this, they decided to terminate it immediately, accusing me of misconduct and stealing the days.
Dear Mr. Barton, let me clarify what misconduct truly is: it's when your friends are calling other members "an asshole" just for trying to work out peacefully, kicking them off machines for no reason. Misconduct is also when the orgies happen in the steam room or somebody’s giving a head in the locker room. None of the above relates to me.
You also don’t have to answer to my review and write another lie.

This is a super well equipped, really reasonably priced gym option for the area. The equipment is almost all pretty state of the art, well maintained with nothing out of commission for more than a couple weeks. I'm a regular visitor and it is generally not overly busy when I'm there, most mornings, but there are some exceptions. The team are all really friendly too. I have yet to try any of the classes but I am keen to get some spin time there as the weather cools down. Highly recommend.

I took a break from U and spent some time at Crunch and Equinox. I recently canceled my Equinox membership and decided to come back to U—and I have zero regrets. The place is spotless, the machines target muscles I didn’t even know I had, the people are great, and the music makes me want to dance every time I’m here.

Gym U is the most premier, professional, and community oriented gym here in NYC. I wish there were already multiple locations in other cities. I searched far and wide for a gym where I would want to spend most of my time - and Gym U was the only place where I could say that for. There is no better gym innovator than David Barton and the trainers here are a significant cut above. Trainer James, the rest of the team, and the gym itself have been life changing for me. Highly recommend for those who take their fitness seriously and want results, Gym U is the place to be.

Great gym! I found this place because I live nearby and saw it from the outside and decided to tour. I'm glad I came here instead of going to a snooty gym like Equinox or Lifetime.
Membership is about a 1/3 or 1/2 of what it'd be at a "luxury" gym except if you actually care about fitness instead of status/brand you get way more.
The equipment is amazing. There is everything you need and some incredible very very nice machines. Every niche machine I've been able to find and generally I've never had to wait for a machine (except the reverse fly machine). There is a great assortment of cable attachments too.
A rack has always been available for me, even at peak times. I really like the brand they use it's super easy to adjust and the bench locks in on a track and it's so easy to adjust. It's a small detail but it really adds up to making a great workout. There are separate squat and deadlift platforms too.
There is an open area for stretching which is nice. It's a bit small but got the job done for me. One wish is that the mats were slightly thicker. That said, I have enjoyed the assortment of body weight equipment.
Secondly, everyone at the gym including members and staff are very passionate and friendly. It's a fantastic environment to be in and helps me enjoy my workouts.
The locker rooms and showers are decent. I don't they are as fancy as an Equinox/Lifetime but I'm pretty happy with it. The sauna is great after a workout and they have nice hairdryers (with diffusers!) and the basic products you need. I think if I had to ask for one thing it'd be a face wash/face lotion and a gentler shampoo since the shampoo in the shower is super harsh imo.
Overall this gym is the best gym I have been to anywhere. I am grateful to the opportunity to have been here for a year and am very sad I am moving away!!

I went in to see if they had an InBody scan available (some gyms will charge a fee to use which Id be fine with) The guy at the front desk said only members who are enrolled in personal training are eligible to use it. $200+ a month for one location and wildly expensive personal training just to use the InBody is wild lol

The gym has a great location and decent equipment, but the environment makes it hard to enjoy a workout. The biggest issue is the lack of air conditioning — it’s always extremely hot, which makes it uncomfortable and honestly unbearable at times. On top of that, the place smells like sweat and dirty gym clothes, especially in the weight area. Some of the staff are okay, but overall, the atmosphere feels neglected. If they fixed the AC and ventilation, it could actually be a great spot. But until then, it’s not the best experience — I only go because it’s close to my house !!

Gym U is absolutely stunning! The equipment is not your typical gym gear, which might take some time to get used to, but there are employees and fellow gym members available and willing to help if needed. It’s a fantastic space not only for working out but also for unwinding. They have a small fitness bar offering beverages, beautiful locker rooms, a stunning sauna, and a steam room. The only downside is that they only have one location. However, I highly recommend giving this gym a try!

I’ve been contemplating writing this review for months, mainly because a part of me wants to gatekeep what is honestly one of the best gyms in the city.
Last year, I made the switch from Crunch, and it was hands down the best decision I’ve made.
Machines:
The gym is fully equipped with Panatta machines, arguably the best gym equipment out there right now. I’ve definitely seen and felt a difference in my workouts since using them.
Design:
The space is incredibly well-designed and thoughtfully curated from the lighting and music (the playlists are so good I often pause my own music, and sometimes there's even a live DJ) to the overall vibe. You can tell it was built with bodybuilders in mind.
Gym U also doubles as a really solid third space. There’s a sleek bar and a cozy, cafe area that makes the environment feel even more elevated. I often find myself just walking around, impressed by the level of detail and intention put into every corner.
David Barton and his team truly deserve their flowers for this.

Yana is truly one of the best personal trainers I’ve ever worked with. She’s taught me the proper foundation of weightlifting with patience, precision, and a deep knowledge of form and technique. Her ability to break things down and make them approachable has completely changed the way I train. I feel stronger, and far more capable thanks to her guidance. Yana’s energy, support, and dedication are unmatched. She doesn’t just train—she educates and empowers. I feel incredibly lucky to have her teaching me skills that will stay with me for life. I just got back from India UAE and Sri Lanka and I knew I had to drag myself back to a gym. I looked at several- the big three: Chelsea Piers, Equinox and GYM U NYC. WITH THE WEATHER and jet lag and a recalcitrant butt, I was kind of in slo mo but today I finally picked GYM U. FIRSTLY, Gym U has hired the most personable and caring intake person for membership. His name was Philip. What makes him so impressive is a. He knows his stuff and he has a solid knowledge base b. He cared about me and listened to my needs and what would be the best fit for me at Gym U c. Philip was simply a nice guy. You could tell he loves his job, he loves Gym U and he wants you to love it as much as he does. I like people with moxie and who cares about their job. He gave me the tour and you could feel his excitement about not only working there but what makes this gym special. There has been some remodeling. I couldn’t put my finger on it but there was more pizzazz. A real crowd pleaser must be THE STEAM ROOM. It was huge and more importantly immaculate. It’s obvious hygiene is taken seriously here In addition he was very excited about their investment in Panatta gym equipment which is premier equipment from Apiro, Italy which is in the beautiful La Marche area- think Gubbio, Orvieto, Perugia and Assisi all beautiful villages in this area. Mamma Mia! You know those Italians they tie fantastic design to superior function. I am amazed the monthly fees aren’t more expensive. This equipment is like ART meets FORM meets function. It’s amazing. It’s the equipment the Roman gods use…. lol. He escorted me to his office and I enrolled and paid my starter fee. It’s a win win for me because I am lucky enough to live in the neighborhood and this gym has all the amenities one could ask for plus there is a convivial bar at the entrance. What a marriage Adrenalin and Alcohol! Oh there are classes which are included in the fees. I know this might sound a tad corny but the greeter who checks your membership when you come in probably was the winner of Mr Congeniality somewhere. But his personality sets the stage from the moment you walk in. I felt like I was treated like I had been a long term member. It’s not fake here, it’s genuine.
Thanks Philip for your time and curated information. Oh, I don’t have a complaint but whoever named the bar it truly doesn’t go with the branding of Gym U. Maybe, David needs to have a contest for renaming it. But what do I know. ALSO the whole staff or team here works in synchronicity. The team that checks you in are NICE TO EVERYONE, the CREW here from mechanics to cleaning staff are constant keeping the place working and spotless. Hygiene is huge issue for me and I have not seen a more dedicated and consistent team here. I think hospitals could learn a few things here. Plus, it’s not like after they take your money you are treated like a number. Believe me this zufu or grandparent feels very comfortable here. When my Chinese grandsons were here from Virginia, I gave them a tour. They were in awe- especially with the ITALIAN EQUIOMENT. I LEAVE next month for an assignment in the Middle East. I look forward to returning.
THANKS PHILIP!

If you have the body of a Greek god, you might be ok here but for a regular gym rat it’s over the top, claustrophobic and snotty. The gym equipment is so close together you are on top of one another. It’s hot as hell and the overhead spotlights aimed directly on whatever you’re doing doesn’t help. There seems to be an over abundance of leg equipment and the space isn’t used logically and you’re going up a giant set of stairs multiple times. I worked out here when it was Crunch and before that David Barton, the space was used thoughtfully then. The over the top Porche-like Italian equipment is pretty but is it really that important to work out on, especially for $200 per month? I say no thanks. I went in on a free three day pass and the sales person only gave me a day. So i guess it wasn’t Grinder match for either of us but there are some very pretty boys there and they know it.

Gym U has the potential to be the best gym in NYC if some areas are addressed and improved.
The hired staff is pretty diverse in terms of racial and social makeup and I believe David has at heart inclusion in all aspects.
But some of the staff may not reciprocate the feeling of paying it forward.
There are constant side comments that are unnecessary, unacceptable and unprofessional. If not racism, then it’s lookism. I even heard someone said “I should have raised the premium in order to deter”. I mean, how do we pray at night and expect goodness if we have such feelings of exclusion.
I paid a year subscription to be encouraged in such a beautiful gym with the lgbt+ community, be in a safe place and focus in my physical well being. Thankfully, I was able to cancel the membership as I am moving out of state.
The steam room is also uncomfortable, first there is a video camera to prevent misconduct. And now there are these light fixtures directed to everyone’s face, the purpose to come and relax is gone.
And lastly, the evening classes in the studio are vanished, the space is now occupied by a cycling studio that attracts just a singular group of young girls from that cycling studio. Thus any gym classes of evening yoga, triceps and biceps, hiit and the like are long gone, all those different instructors and classes the gym offered throughout the day were replaced and are truly missed. You don’t even have access to the room if you want to do anything on your own as the space is filled with the bikes all the time.
If these areas are addressed, this business can thrive to knock off Templ or any other competitor.

One of the coolest gyms I have ever been to.
The vibes are immaculate, the lighting is superb, the live DJ is awesome, the machines are seriously top notch and the staff is excellent.
I love the sauna and steam room and I applaud them for making changes (the camera no one cares about) and keeping it open for us who use it to actually steam and relax, despite other ex-members constant refusal to show simple decorum (it got predatory bad and frankly embarrassing).
Can’t recommend this gym enough and not sure how I could ever go to another basic and boring gym again.

I liked it here although I genuinely can’t fathom what would make gym U think that a camera in the steam room is a good idea. It’s so violating and has to be some kind of illegal.
I was under the impression a steam room was supposed to be for relaxing! Turns out it’s actually a room where you’re supposed to sit uncomfortably with the looming threat of someone staring at you half naked.
This is a lawsuit waiting to happen hopefully gym U can fix this problem so that god forbid their patrons can have a relaxing steam after their workout

Front Desk welcomed me in and remembered my name (before scanning my member check in) on my second visit
I’m quite shocked. This is a very tailored and unique experience.
Even the steam rooms have the aroma of eucalyptus
Not like any gym I’ve joined in the past.
They also have a very aesthetically pleasing / 70s theme psychedelic
Member lounge area.

They record video in the steam room. It's creepy, inappropriate, and unsettling.
Further, management has not responded to any inquiries about whether they even have privacy controls and data security measures in place with regard to this invasive footage of members wearing only a towel.
And the music in the workout space is incredibly loud-- headache inducing at times. Everyone has headphones in anyways, unclear why they need to blast music at such an uncomfortable level.
Otherwise a great gym--but these issues have ruined the workout experience here for me.

The gym itself is nice, with great equipment and facilities. However, I specifically joined this gym because I wanted a sauna I could use daily. After over a year of membership, it has been a constant gamble whether the sauna will be operational—or, when it is, if it will be hot enough.
The gym offers an app with notifications, so at the very least, members should be informed when the sauna is unavailable due to maintenance. When I raised this issue with a Gym U team member, I was told: “Unfortunately, I can make no guarantees that all club amenities will be available at all times throughout the year.”
It’s disappointing to have paid for a year upfront, only to find that the amenities I joined for are so unreliable. While I understand that repairs are sometimes necessary, the frequency of sauna outages and the lack of communication with paying members have made it difficult for me to recommend this gym to others.

Membership advisors often talk excessively and waste people’s time. Joining a gym should be simple:
1. Fees, annual charges, and waivers.
2. Equipment and setup.
Anything beyond that is unnecessary.
I was charged $52 for a trial workout, even though I was told I could come for a free trial. This experience left me questioning how the gym intends to build customer loyalty. The sales representative Paul was disrespectful and biased. They took my debit card without ensuring it was stored securely, and as I exited the gym, they mockingly said, “Have a good one,” which felt like, “I took your money, don’t come back.” They also opened my locker and I found the locker open lol. The equipments are great and set up is outstanding no doubt, but customer service requires some audit from executive management that accordingly promote diversity ! TMPL is way better for the same price plus multiple locations and many machines all over Manhattan
This behavior was unprofessional and disappointing.

I was an OG of the old place years ago and loved it. Never mind that that incarnation ended so ignominiously in a shady bankruptcy where they sent out an email announcing their closure at 1am so all us helpless members were left in the morning with paid classes from which we couldn't get our money back. No, I chose to risk it when they reopened in this space because I love this space. Well now I see they installed a camera INSIDE their steam room. I recognize their dilemma...but this is not the solution. They get around the legality by posting a sign that says exercise wear is required inside now. This is gross! I don't want to have to wear my dirty, stinky, sweaty, damp exercise clothes in the hot steam room after a work out when I'm trying to feel the steam against my skin so that I can get the blood flowing. Can you imagine how stinky it will get if everyone complies? Worse, I think to make sure the camera isnt obscured, the steam never turns on full blast anymore. So essentially...you've taken away an amenity that was promised. Is this live DJ there anymore? Granted I've started coming earlier but I don't seem to notice him anymore either. This all feels so...spiraling downhill? I don't think I will renew. Now I'm just hoping they last the year instead of pulling a sneaky overnight bankruptcy again.

UPDATE :
I wanted to provide an update regarding my previous review about the safety and privacy issues in the Ladies' Locker Room at Gym U.
I am pleased to share that Gym U has taken significant steps to address this concern by installing proper, clear signage that unmistakably indicates the Women’s and Men’s Locker Rooms. This is a great improvement, and I truly appreciate the effort to ensure the privacy and safety of all female members moving forward.
A special thank you to David Burton, who personally reached out to me to assure that the situation would be handled properly. His proactive communication and reassurance were greatly appreciated and reflect the level of care and attention that was needed for this matter.
I truly love this gym and its unique concept, which makes it such a special place to work out. With this issue now resolved, I look forward to continuing to support Gym U and being a loyal member.
To show the positive changes Gym U has implemented, I’ve uploaded pictures of the new signage so that others can see the improvements for themselves. This is an important step forward, and I’m glad that the management has taken the concerns of its members seriously.
Thank you again to Gym U and David Burton for addressing this issue. I’m excited to keep enjoying my workouts in this fantastic gym!

I’ve been coming here for a month and really am happy to be a member of Gym U. The gym can be pretty intimidating if you’re new and not familiar with the equipment, but GYM U is a really great gym. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Paul will make time to answer all my questions and always says hello when he sees me. The front desk check in employees are always kind and helpful. The gym itself is well kept and you will constantly see staff walking the floor cleaning. The locker rooms are very clean as well. The Gym has lots of impressive gym equipment, Lots of Panatta machines, which are amazing. The best part of the gym is the personal trainers! After briefly discussing my goals with Paul, he matched me with Patrycja. She is amazing! I love my appointments with her! She pushes me to go harder than I could ever go alone. She surprises me by showing me what I am capable of. It’s been barely a month and I am already seeing results. I highly recommend the PT contracts. I’m so happy, I did!

To start, Pedal House still has the wrong address on Google Maps, which made it challenging to find. I had to search the website for the correct address and ended up arriving late to my first class. The welcome was a bit awkward, and it took some time to figure out where to go and how to get the equipment. That said, the class itself was great—very choreographed compared to what I’m used to, but a lot of fun!
However, I won’t be coming back. After my third class, I felt really dizzy and nearly passed out, yet no one seemed to check on me or make sure I was okay. It gave me the impression that the gym’s focus is more on “ride or die” than on individual care, which doesn’t align with my vibe or values.
On a positive note, the equipment here is stunning. If you’re looking for a place where you can work out independently without much interaction, this might be the right fit for you.

The place was amazing when it first opened and it’s quickly very quickly losing its charm. Ownership is worrying a little too much about that bar that tends to the empty 80percent of the time. Membership seems to be dwindling. The posters outside are just Ugly.

Let me first say I was a member of David Barton’s gym at this location years ago and enjoyed the experience. This new incarnation from a machine and experience point of view is amazing, They have state of the art equipment and Mr Barton spared no expense to make sure you have the best workout experience ever. Now, with that being said let’s move on to some of their sales representative (I’m only referring to PAUL) who signed me up. I opted for a month to month just to test the waters. What I was not told was that I only had a finite amount of visits l, which were 8 for the month I was a member. To my surprise when I showed up yesterday and the front desk told me my membership was over. I proceeded to ask why and the very nice desk person explained it and even said it made no sense. PAUL saw me and called me into his office. He then said that i was not listening to him when he told me that I only had 8 visits for that month, which cost me 200 bucks. I didn’t hear him was his explanation. Mr Barton said come chat with him after my workout to see what we can do. Well, Mr Barton was no where to be seen and nothing was resolved. The whole experience soured my taste for this facility and the shady business dealings. It’s about being transparent and clear with members from the beginning instead of twisting it around to say I didn’t remember him telling me I had only a certain number of visits for the month. Don’t go into this gym unless all of their “terms” are explained. Shame on you David Barton

The best gym in New York City, hands down.
All of the staff are super friendly, down to earth, warm, and knowledgeable. David at the front desk is best!
Marcella, at the smoothie bar, makes the best drinks!!! Try the Supergreens smoothie :)))
Plus, all the equipment is new and kinda exclusive to the gym. I’ve been a member of Lifetime and Equniox and I’ve never seen equipment this nice.
10/10.

Upon moving back into the city I visited numerous gyms from the most popular & coveted to the smaller private ones and none compared to Gym U. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing & unlike any other gym in the city as far as that goes, but the equipment is top notch. It’s well equipped, clean & flows well. You can tell someone truly spent a lot of time & thought at creating this space. The atmosphere and energy were what ultimately made me sign up. Everyone is friendly & willing to help you out and make sure you’re comfortable and happy.

Love this gym! Great stuff and members. Very friendly :)
Trainers are professional and well trained.
I especially like training there with the Neubie machine as it stresses my muscles like crazy. Definitely see results since I joined.
Highly recommend!

The sauna is clearly just there for show. It’s warmer outside than it is in that sauna. I tried to reach out to see if there were any plans to improve it, but they didn’t bother responding. They don’t seem to care about fitness and their members as they do about making the gym look like a night club. Chelsea Piers is the same price, has a working sauna and floor to ceiling windows. I can’t wait till my membership ends.

Sauna has been broken for 4 months, it has finally reopened and the temperature hovers between 120-140F.
May update: I’ve been informed that it does not go above 160F, if this situation changes I will gladly update/ remove this review.

The staff, atmosphere and equipment are good but I committed to this gym specifically for the steam room and sauna.
There is no functioning steam room and sauna..
Had to put my membership on hold for maximum time allotted.
Will update when that time is up.
UPDATE: MAY 2024
Steam room on the women’s side is up and operating very well.
Definitely worth joining if you’re looking to improve and maintain the health of your meat suit.

This Gym is the best in the city, the staff are wonderful people who truly care about their member's. The best part of this gym is the design; it has great lighting, the highest quality equipment, and I love the DJ booth they have downstairs! There definitely is a great sense of community as well. And they are extremely LGBTQIA+ friendly!

The machinery is immaculate , the staff is top tier , and my trainer Leo has transformed my body right before my very eyes . The decor is creative and modern . I joined Gym U about 2 months ago and frankly its one of the best gyms Ive been to. And Ive been to many.
My experience has been great. The equipment is top notch, the staff and trainers are helpful and pretty damn friendly. The gym and changing rooms are clean. It is not that crowded when I go, which I consider a plus. I get to use the machines I want - when I want. And the price compared to the other high end gyms is a deal.
My only slight issue is that the steam/sauna are currently closed but I believe that they will soon be open.
My workouts have been much more consistent because I find myself actually wanting to go to the gym.

Michael the recruitment manager is superb. Because of him I picked GYM U over Equinox and Chelsea Piers. He was articulate and more importantly he listened to my interests and needs to see what was best for me. I went twice before signing on to see if he were really this authentic. HE'S THE REAL DEAL. I didnt feel like just a number or quota that had to be filled. He introduced me to the owner who is very passionate about his GYM and both men seem keen on making "U" FEEL AT HOME.

This is one of David Barton’s Greatest.
The gym is immaculate, The staff are super friendly, helpful, hospitable, and I’ve never seen so many hard workers in my life; keeping everything spotless and disinfected. Even the members were nice (I’m from LA 😂).
Though I only used a guest pass for a few weeks, I was blown away (I’ve been with Equinox forever). If I move back to NYC, it will def be U GYM for me.
Incredible value for what they offer.
One more thing, they’ve imported some really unique and versatile equipment I’ve never seen before, but they hit muscles I disnt know I had 😂 it was a fun experience. Thanks guys and gals! That equipment though! Impressed.

There’s only ONE spin bike in the entire gym. So if someone is using the spin bike you’ll be waiting an hour or so and that’s only if you’re 2nd in line. Also they boast about new state of the art equipment but they’re always out of order. Now I know why David Barton opens and closes a gym every few years.

A lot of the areas are not complete, they barely opened their steam room and already threatening to shut it down supposedly because of inappropriate conduct. I don't think they are financially viable and trying to cut costs as you can see there are a lot of incomplete projects. They change sales employees like a revolving door, as the young lady who signed me up already left. I wonder if they are just going to turn around and planning on selling this place like they did with David Barton Gym and TMPL Gym. Hell based on what I heard from other members, all of their equipment are rentals, which I really hope is false.

Updated Review after 2 months: When you have an employee who sign you up for something then come to find out they didn't honor and won't honor it. And also to find out that the employee is fired and it happens that you're not the only customer that was been lied to and on top the management won't offer a solution or honor what was discussed. BATE & SWITCH, watch out people they will likely jack up everything and change things on you WITHOUT you noticing. All this because of finding out accidentally and have been there from the start, disappointing and lack of integrity.

There’s nothing like it in NYC (and possibly anywhere else). The equipment is second to none, the space is beautiful, but most importantly U is a community of fitness enthusiasts. The staff & trainers are the friendliest people ever, always greeting members with a smile and always willing to assist. Gym U checks all the boxes and thanks to them I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in. I look forward to visiting everyday. David Barton has outdone himself once again!

Fantastic gym. David Barton knows how to design a great gym and curates the best equipment and vibe. Lots of machines and equipment I’ve not seen at any other gym in NYC, including a lineup from Italian company, Panatta. Love the community here - a mix of people focused on bodybuilding and more casual people (like me). Everyone I’ve met has been super friendly and fun to get to know. Not a ton of classes but the ones I’ve been to have been great and worth the time. Locker room with a steam room that’s the perfect place to relax. Hate that the steam closes at 10pm cause I like to go to the gym later in the evening and would like to use it afterward. Gym closes at 11 most nights, which gives plenty of time to work out after work and dinner. Been to a few of the social events and they’re always fun. It’s the new cool gym in NYC.

The gym is nice, but I'm specifically giving a 5-star review to one of the trainers, Roel Rosquites-Moretti. In my experience, there aren't many trainers like Roel. He's patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely takes injuries and limitations into consideration (and provides alternatives).
When I walk into a gym, I can get disorganized/disoriented when trying to decide what to do. Roel created a program for me, took me through it, and helped me organize myself so I can proficiently complete workouts on my own.
You won't go wrong with Roel, I highly recommend him.
