Not one to complain about much but the court setup is horrible. Every time our team plays here the seating is minimal and it’s like playing outdoors but indoors. I hope the owners can get funding for improvements.

Hardscrabble Club is an excellent club to grow as an athlete and as a person. I have made lifelong friends and enjoyed memorable experiences as a tennis player at Hardscrabble Club. The staff is great as well!

Randy is absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable, professional, honest, great with kids. They love and adore him. It’s more than a club, it’s a second home and a family. The relationship he has with all of the kids is above and beyond, not something that can be faked.
The club is ran and maintained very well. Tournaments are always well organized, courts are top notch. Coaches are very professional. Personal is very welcoming and friendly.

My two children participated in the Nike tennis camp at Hardscrabble this summer and had a fantastic time. They learned so much and had fun as well. They really enjoyed the tennis games, especially Davis Cup Fridays. All the coaches were enthusiastic, patient and encouraging. Coach Eric did an outstanding job organizing the camp and I really appreciate the attention he gave to assigning the campers to their daily groups, based on his and the coaches’ observations of their current level. At the same time, I was able to take lessons with Coach Sarah and Kieran and was able to see first hand how wonderful they are at teaching. Randy Mani and his team run a great professional and welcoming tennis club. My family and I will definitely be returning.

We signed up for the 3 private sessions package for our daughter to get a taste of tennis and she loved it, in part due to the patient and encouraging coaches.

Nice mix of players for pickleball. Open play sessions are well organized by skill level. Rarely had to wait a full game to get back into a court.

Lighting is a bit tough, but overall good facility. The have repainted the Pickleball courts lines a brighter color, and they are more visible.

I’ve been at Hardscrabble for years now and grateful for Randy and the dedicated staff there! They have been so flexible and accommodating, and our friends from Mt Kisco, New Fairfield, Bethel, Newtown, and more all meet in the middle at Hardscrabble. We love it!

I had very bad experience with this club. This club has their own format called 20 min match play. They give only 20 min for kids to play single match. This is so ridiculous they don't even play complete set. Kids has to play continuously 3 matches without even using RestRooms. Parents please think about once and enroll tennis tournaments in this club.
