Heatwise Park Slope absolutely rules! All of the teachers are so amazing and uniquely different in their classes. Playlists so great that I seek them out on Spotify. Attentive, kind, challenging, and thoughtful - whatever you’re looking for you will find it here. Especially love the candlelit evening classes when I can squeeze one in. Don’t sweat it - you won’t regret it.

I'd been eager to try here, but now I won't ever. I went in and the person at the front literally looked right through me multiple times. She saw me enter and saw me stand at the desk. Not even an "I'll be with you in a moment." I stood and waited. Still nothing. Received the same treatment from a second person.

I was visiting in Park Slope from Jersey for a weekend. It was rainy and dreary, however I don't like to skip my Sunday workout, and I asked my friend to find me a stretch/yoga or pilates class near by. Little did I know, that all I needed that day was a great sweat. This place truly makes everyone feel like a member of a community. Not only was it challenging and effective, our lovely instructor ( hope I remember her name correctly) Katie gave some Reiki in the end, that felt in the moment extremely needed and rewarding. Thank you for such a great experience.

I had a great class here today doing some hot yoga. Arianna is an amazing teacher and a great communicator with a high level of intuition. The space is very clean, well run and cozy. Additionally the staff were welcoming and efficient so I’ll definitely be coming back.

Great place! Highly recommend. Erin is one of the best teachers giving a full mind, body, soul experience in every one of her classes.

my hot yoga babes, the newbies this place is bomb. This was my second class ever and it was amazing. I was intimidated because I’m a plus size girly with zero experience with yoga but I was able to do everything. Elise was my teacher for both and she is great, she gives you alternative options if you’re unable or feel uncomfortable to do what she’s instructing which was nice especially as a newbie. The girls in front are the sweetest, the atmosphere is clean, cute and peaceful. I drive from NJ..it’s worth the drive 10/10 recommend 💗

Solid hot yoga, especially enjoy the candlelit series. Little cubbies with locks available to store your stuff. Ability to rent towel/mat or bring your own. Easy reservation system. For a fee can store your own mat with them.

I love Heatwise and understand where some criticism is coming from, but the good outweighs the bad for me. There are several drawbacks, such as the lack of showers, changing areas, and stalls, but this is NYC. We make the most of what we have, right? Heatwise has to the best of their ability. They have thoughtfully laid out an inclusive, friendly, fun, energetic, and thorough experience. They take suggestions and are constantly thinking about how to better their clients' experiences. The price is higher than I would like, but while I researched other studios and their prices, I found that Heatwise is quite competitive for Park Slope and NYC. I also think the sense of community they have fostered is something I value over a tiny bit of savings. I have been doing yoga since 1996 and I have never felt stronger since going to Heatwise a year ago. I am challenged and therefore, I challenge myself. Even still, if I'm having an off day, there is absolutely no pressure to do anything but child's pose. I have my favorite teachers, but am constantly excited and pleasantly surprised when I try others. Yes, it's super annoying when my long arms and legs hit other yogis in a full class. Yes, sometimes I would hit skip on the song selection a teacher has made. Yes, sometimes I wish I could take a shower before my three mile bike ride home, but I found my place. I go to hot yoga at least 4x a week and I constantly see familiar faces. There are many of us who have found this dynamic little studio where we want to be. ❤️

Great place for hot yoga. Friendly staff and helpful instructors. 5 stars all the way . People need to understand prices went up on everything, so stop complaining about the prices. Plus, they have 3 locations you can go to.

The pricing at this chain of yoga studios is outrageous!! $260 a month for unlimited or $36/class? It almost feels unethical to charge that much for yoga. And on top of that, if you buy a class pack it expires after 90 days.. isn’t the whole point of a class pack that you can use it whenever you want? I wanted to like this place, but their pricing strategy really rubbed me the wrong way and shows what kind of values the owner/s have. I really think this studio would be so much more successful if they made their pricing more reasonable.

Solid studio with good instructors on the whole. However they put very short expiration periods on their class packs which they do not make clear. For example a 5 pack expires in 45 days! If you can’t afford $36 for a class then you’re out of options

I had mixed feelings about my first experience at this studio. I was disappointed that there are no showers, changing rooms, or mirrors in the studio. The spots are laid out very close together, so a full class would feel very cramped. The studio looks out onto an unfinished courtyard which has trash laying around. First timers are given a towel and mat to borrow free of charge which was a nice touch. There are quality toiletries available in the bathroom and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The temperature in the room was perfect.

This Park Slope hot yoga studio is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They go out of their way here to make you feel welcome. The classes are energetic and vibrant. One wishes they had showers but the cold towels and the single bathroom still make it possible to wipe yourself down and forget about the inconvenience. The Heatwise brand follows a trend in new yoga studios these days; a Spotify Playlist chosen by the instructor turned up loud and the 30 something yoga teacher essentially yelling instructions over the music. You might have to remind yourself that you are in a yoga class and not a spin class. Don't dwell on it though. The positives out weigh this negative and in the end, it's all a positive vibe here.

I’ve never been one to love exercising but I look forward to every class I take here. All the teachers are wonderful, the front desk staff is so nice (they make it a point to greet me by name :) and the space is lovely and amazingly clean considering all the sweating that takes place there! The workouts always feel so efficient - 60 minutes of stretching, legit cardio (because of the heat) and relaxation. I’m hooked!

Heatwise is great. I went for the first time and experienced the candlelit hot yoga class- Monday 8pm. The instructor was perfect. She gave guidance and made space for us to just be if needed. The classroom is a decent size and there were not too many people. The overall space is small. One bathroom, no showers. There are plenty of lockers. You can rent mats and towels. At the end you are offered a cool damp cloth to cool you down. That felt so refreshing after class. Overall it's a good experience worth trying. Get there 15 mins early!

My boyfriend and I love this studio. The mats and towels are always clean. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. We’ve taken a varied instructors, but our favs are Liz, Marissa, Amanda and Holly. Classes can be crowded but we’re spaced out enough if you want to challenge your practice. Highly recommend this studio! Hot yoga really does feel good.
