This gym may be one of the most unprofessional gyms around. I looked at the membership options online and due to them being higher than other local gyms I opted for the 3-day trial to see if I like it first before committing. I received the email confirming a 3 day trial and clicked the link to activate it. I called the West End location the next morning to confirm and the girl on the phone was pleasant. She said no problem, she’d set me up with the free trial, but instead of 3 days she’d give me 7, starting today. She told me all I needed to do was give my phone number when I arrived.

Several hours later, I walked about 2 miles to the gym from my home as it was a nice day. When I arrived, I explained I was there to use the free trial and had spoken to her on the phone that morning. She said it must have been someone else, as it wasn’t her. She then took my phone number, spent 4–5 minutes on the computer in complete silence, and finally said, “That will be $30 for the trial.”

I explained that I had received an email from the website for the free trial, and that the girl on the phone earlier had confirmed I’d get a 7-day trial to try things out. The girl insisted they don’t do free trials at all — not 3 days, not 7 — and that if I wanted to use the gym, it would cost me $30. At that point, I obviously walked out without trying the gym for several important reasons.

The reasons are simple:
• Lack of professionalism toward a potential customer.
• Major false advertising on their website and in their emails.
• Complete lack of common courtesy and honesty.

Looking around, yes, the equipment appeared new since the location just opened, but that doesn’t make up for the treatment I experienced and many others who will be lured into the same tactics . Whoever is running this place seems completely out of their depth. Having served in the military, I know the value of being squared away — and this gym couldn’t be further from it.

If they’re already lying on their website, lying in emails, and lying to your face in person, then it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the red flags. Places like this are the ones that will fight you tooth and nail when you try to cancel your membership, adding hidden fees and excuses to keep charging you. With this kind of dishonesty and lack of professionalism, I doubt they’ll be in business for long. I’ve included a photo of the email confirming the trial, as I no doubt expect there may be some denial about it.

This is place is great lots of machines to work all your muscles and target areas. Has sauna and classes with great couches.

I love this gym. It's clean, has brand new equipment and everyone who comes here is so nice. 10/10
