I’ve gone to SO many different hot yoga studios in the city and this is one of my absolute favorites. Workouts are challenging yet fun, welcoming environment, great facilities, not overly priced. Kameica and Soha in particular are AMAZING.

I love Hot 8 Yoga! The Power and Barre classes are such a good mix of challenging and fun. The instructors are always warm, welcoming, and really motivating. The studio itself is super clean, well-kept, and feels like a little oasis. Every time I go, I leave feeling stronger, happier, and just… better. Highly recommend!

Kameica is the best fitness instructor I’ve ever experienced. She brings energy like no other, motivation, and a phenomenal workout. Had to sign up for a membership. I love the scent infused cold towelettes. Wish rentals were included even just the shower towel!

Hot 8 has a great new client deal with a bonus discount for your first month. I primarily take Barre and Sculpt and have enjoyed every class. Teachers are friendly, approachable and supported me when I expressed about some modifications I may need to take. If you love to sweat I highly recommend taking advantage of the new client offer.

Hot8 has a great community energy. The front desk staff and teachers are all friendly, kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. I am addicted to their Candle Lit Yin classes; the perfect wind down for the week that will make you feel like you’re floating afterwards. Truly rejuvenating. It’s worth noting you can sometimes hear the subway beneath the studio and the class next door, which hinders the zen at times. I’ve not used many of the amenities so I do think the price per class is quite expensive. For me, these classes are a blissful treat in my regular workout plan, but I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Here is my honest review:
The studio was so nice and clean. Well maintained with nice staff. The room itself was HOT, so you’ll definitely get a sweat in! The classes itself although were challenging (especially the hot sculpt!) I felt that they weren’t as structured as I’d like and instructors didn’t necessarily seem too advanced considering the price point? There was also lack of emphasis on form correction. But the instructors were all super encouraging and kind. Another thing that put me off slightly was the constant upsell. I know it is a business and that’s how businesses run, but as I was on my trial week, every time I came out of class I was asked if I wanted to buy a package. Especially when I came out of my first class and haven’t explored other classes yet, I felt the environment was too hard salesy. Then the text messages follow up were also way too frequent where it got annoying.

I’m such a fan of this studio. I wasn’t big on hot yoga but then I took the classes here and it’s become the only kind of yoga I want to take. The way they moderate the temperature and flow, and how the different classes give such unique experiences that feel like your fitness routine is always manageable and never gets flat. The teachers are great at being conscious and attentive; generally the staff are just always so welcoming. 10/10 would recommend

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years, but this past June was my first time stepping into a hot yoga studio, and I don’t regret it one bit.
From the moment I walked into HOT 8 Yoga, it felt like a wellness retreat. The studio is spotless, the air feels fresh and clean (thanks to advanced heating and UV-C filtration), and the atmosphere is both energizing and calming.
The variety of classes impressed me. Whether it’s a challenging Sculpt or Power session, the meditative 26 & 2 flow, or a gentle Yin class for recovery, there’s truly something for everyone. Personally, Sculpt and Power have become my favorites.
The experience doesn’t end on the mat after class; you can enjoy hot showers with eco-friendly products, eucalyptus towels, filtered water, and secure lockers. Every detail encourages self-care.
The staff and instructors go above and beyond. No matter the time of day, they’re professional, warm, and welcoming. Their Welcome Week deal ($40 for 7 days unlimited) was a great way to try everything.
Yes, it’s a premium studio after the intro offer, it’s $40 per class or a membership, but if you’re consistent, it’s worth every penny. Between the physical results, mental clarity, and sense of community, HOT 8 Yoga truly delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for both seasoned yogis and complete beginners.

By far the best yoga studio for me that I've experienced over 20 yrs of practice. It's specific to me b/c I'm an athletic, adventurous girlie who also loves challenging and versatile workouts, running, dance, etc. And Hot8 Yoga carries that energetic spirit across its classes. From classic power flow to music-driven body sculpting that will shape you like a goddess, to chill evening wind-downs, I get everything here in the most pristine space with the loveliest staff. Couldn't recommend enough. A little spendy, but 100% worth it. You'll feel it inside and out.

This is one of the nicest and cleanest hot yoga studios in all of New York (and trust me, I’ve been to most of them). The Hot8 brand popular on the West Coast, and the Brooklyn Heights studio is a great reflection of it. Men’s locker room is clean, with lockers that don’t require locks, and nice amenities (face wash, razors and shaving cream, plastic bags for wet suits).
The actual practice studios have a nice floor that is soft but not slippery. There are cool towels for after class and a water machine in the main waiting area. Rentals are available (mats, towels,) and are priced similar to other studios.
The community here is great and a special shout out to Bob Harper’s noon “Sunday Service” class with a great community of regulars and is always busy but not packed to the gills like some other places.

This studio used to be my go -to . Sadly they eliminated the 26&2 classes and no longer offer hatha or any classes over 60 minutes . The 75 and 90 min 26/2 classes are gone , offered once a week now . Sad

For the past 12 weeks i’ve been doing sculpt once a week and it has been AMAZING! I personally go once a week because i like to weight lift 3x a week but since going, my posture and balance has gotten so much better. My breathing has improved when it comes to mind-muscle connection and I noticed within the first couple sessions my waist has shrunk. The studio is always so clean and the ambiance is just as great. The staff is very friendly and professional; as well as the teachers. I love both Teirnan and Kamica as my sculpt teachers and recommend everyone to come here!

I absolutely love class at Hot 8 Brooklyn Heights. From the cleanliness of the studio, to the spa-like eucalyptus towels and shower area, it’s not your average yoga studio. The instructors care about the students and their form, they are respectful of any injuries and needs for modification, and the people who come to practice have been lovely. It’s an all-around perfect hot yoga experience, which has been hard for me to find. With hot classes that span across barre, Pilates, classic 26+2, and vinyasa, there’s something for everyone and every day.

2 classes was enough for me not to want to come back. The class itself is like anything hot yoga. My issue is the scent of the mats and the rubber flooring. There is no way that every piece of equipment gets PROPERLY sanitized in between classes. Towels can get washed, but the floor could really use a good scrubbing!

I really wanted to like this place! The "yoga" is in name only. There is a statue of Buddha but there is not a hint of anything spiritual about barking teachers, loud EDM and multi-colored lights. Not my vibe, sorry! First week, there was no hot water in the showers-mentioned it to 3 staff members and nothing was done about it until I emailed the CEO. One staff member tried to gaslight me by saying the water really wasn't cold but room temp. Sorry, I am paying 290/month and having hot water is a reasonable expectation. Then for 2 months in a row, they charged me for the unlimited membership a few days before they were supposed to. The first time, my checking account was overdrawn. The second time, it caused me an embarrassing situation. Instead of fixing the issue, they passed it off on a computer glitch. The manager Charlotte emailed me saying she will let corporate know if it happens again. So I have to wait for it to happen a third time before you do anything????? I was rightfully angry about it but I felt like I was being incredibly patient with the manager. She started to gaslight me by saying I was being "aggressive" to staff. No I was angry but never yelled or cursed at anybody. Anyway, I have learned my lesson about corporate national chain "yoga" studios. Small, locally owned studios with a healthy spiritual take on Yoga is the way to go for me.

I absolutely love the classes here. So far I’ve taken barre and strength, and both are consistently challenging, fun, and leave me feeling stronger every time. The instructors are talented, encouraging, and create a great atmosphere. The studio itself is spacious and well-designed, and the cool towels at the end are such a nice touch.
I always leave feeling amazing. It’s genuinely an incredibly workout.
If I had to nitpick, I’d mention two things. First, the instructors don’t use microphones, and sometimes it’s hard to hear instructions clearly during class. Second, I’ve noticed that most people don’t wipe down their equipment afterward, which feels a little unhygienic. Maybe the staff cleans it later, but I’d love to see more encouragement for everyone to wipe down their weights and gear after use.
Still, it’s a fantastic studio and I’m so glad I found it.

5/5 for me, I have only taken sculpt class with Alison and Amelia.
If you’re a beginner I def recommend Alison. Shes will guide you to your workout and still get your heart pumping to the music! Her playlist is great as well!
Amelia class is for more intermediate advanced students, she’s stop the music a lot to teach you more harder move, but music playlist is great as well.
I have talked to a lot of people in the class and they have taken all the other classes and they enjoy it!
The environment is great, clean room, bathroom/locker room. $3 each rental for towel, mat or etc. free cooling towel is great after each session.
Their membership deals are great, def talk to one of the rep and see what’s the best option for you.

To me, this is unbecoming, seems a bit intrusive and or desperate. Just let your service and art speak for itself, its way better than nagging me with spam. Oh wait, most the classes are generic just in a dark room so you might need to resort to tactics like that.

Hot 8 has been my go-to hot yoga studio for the last few months. Their sculpt class (the other classes offered didn't get hot enough in my opinion) is my favorite. It's challenging, upbeat and fun. I love how each teacher has their own playlist that syncs perfectly with the class. Most instructors come around and hand you a cold eucalyptus towel at the end of class while you're in savasana, and it's the highlight of the class for me! Some of my favorite instructors are Amelia, Jane, Jacob and Jake. The studio is spacious with multiple changing rooms equipped with lockers and showers. Love that this West Coast franchise made its way to the East Coast, with Bklyn Heights as its first location here! The facilities are cozy and the staff are nice. It was my first time trying Hot Barre. The class itself was fun and challenging, in a good way. Our instructor, Mackenzie, had such great energy and did her best to encourage us to keep our spirits lifted while the rest of us were powering through. The room did get quite hot for me, so I had to step out to refresh myself since I ended up drinking all my water, WHEW!
The lockers took a bit to get the hang of. It'd be nice if there were instructions somewhere accessible / on the inside of the lockers. The studio itself was a bit tight (typical nyc space though), as the Women's locker room was cozy and only has 2 showers. I also wish that there were additional info on what not to bring into the room (I.e. no phones + no need for socks) bc a bunch of us had to go back to put our stuff away. I did really like that the bathrooms had lady toiletries to freshen ourselves up, which is convenient! Also LOVED the cold eucalyptus towels and prompt staff that helped us all out.

Such a beautiful space!! The staffs are super friendly and loving. The lounge / rest area is beautifully done, very organic and minimalist. The studio space is dimly lit by a blue light, the floor has a beautiful white color, so you feel like you are on a beautiful beach at night while the floor is well textured to support your practice. I took yin with Jessanya - who is such a delight. Her music was wonderful, she is super well educated in the practice and her guidance is both wise and supportive. 10/10!

This is by far the best hot yoga studio in Brooklyn. It’s one of the few that offers true 26&2 classes and also has variety for folks interested in other styles. I would highly recommend for anyone that’s looking for a well rounded hot yoga studio. I would especially recommend for folks that are looking for a true 26&2 practice.

Great new yoga studio in BH. Spa like locker room/bathroom. Many classes and great teachers. Staff (especially Coco) super nice. I tried almost all classes with the week pass, but now settled on my favorite one (hot yoga). I just wish they had evening hot yoga classes too. The Yin class is super relaxing.

The manager named Charlotte is incredibly rude and ruined my experience in this studio. She was rude and belitling to staff in front of me and everyone (staff and customers) seemed incredibly uncomfortable around her.

Really appreciated the Vinyasa yoga class. It was quite intense and incredibly rewarding, easy to get addicted. I’m definitely coming back. No questions asked. When you know, you know.

Awesome new yoga space, with a great range of classes (vinyasa, sculpt, barre). Teachers are super nice and knowledgable. Heat is INTENSE (hotter than your average heated yoga spot) but you will learn to love it, and great sense of community. (Clean nice bathroom with showers too)

I came across this place while shopping in the area. And decided to sign up for a week intro class. I'm in love! It feels more like a High end spa/with the added Yoga classes. The teachers are amazing! All of them! Especially COCO! Whom explain everything to me in detail, gave me a full tour, and answered all of my questions! I've found my happy place! Thanks Yoga 8 in Bk Heights!

This studio is a couple of weeks old and it seems to have already taken off. The classes are filling up. I personally like the yoga sculpt classes but there are plenty of other hot class types to choose from . The changing rooms are clean and the studio has plenty of amenities (i,e. showers, shaving, lockers with pass codes, cold towels, salt for electrolytes and more). Perfect location on Court Street Brooklyn near all the subways is also a big plus. The studio rooms get plenty hot, and the flooring is rubberized which is kind to my knees. I've been going more than I initially thought I would. I like the staff too, all who seem to be skilled , friendly and engaging.

Classes are hot, but not physically challenging. You will sweat, but you will not feel like you got a workout. One class was so humid that I had trouble breathing and I had to leave class early.
You will get numerous emails and texts reminding you how many classes you've took and that you should buy a membership...
The floor is heated. If you wear glasses, don't bring it with you into the classroom. The floor will feel like lava.
