I joined this gym for the 6-week challenge in 2023, hoping to kickstart my fitness journey and continue there long-term. I expected early morning classes at 5am, but the first session was at 6 a.m. Nonetheless, I attended regularly. The coaches were friendly and supportive, but I met with Seton three times, and none of those meetings provided personal workout instruction I needed. He basically weighed me and viewed my food log.

The nutrition guidance was just a basic sheet outlining what to eat, which I was already managing on my own. I felt the gym should have offered more comprehensive support in that personal training area. Additionally, I didn’t receive a workout plan and struggled with improper lifting techniques, experiencing back pain that I reported.

Despite losing about 9 pounds during the challenge, I was disappointed and didn’t feel inclined to invest further in the gym. My $599 challenge was meant to combine nutrition guidance with proper workout instruction. It seemed like the gym was biased against those of us who joined for the challenge, assuming we were just looking for a quick fix, which wasn’t my intention. Overall, I felt let down by the lack of personal training and proper engagement from Seton, who never taught any of the classes.

If I could give negative stars I would. I signed up for the 6 week challenge that costs $600. You get a piece of paper that tells you what you can eat and you workout at the gym 3 days a week. Unfortunately, I had unusual circumstances where I kept getting sick, one thing after another. The flu, pink eye and a stomach bug. I begged Seton to let me restart the challenge as the circumstances were pretty extreme. He kept brushing it off and saying let’s see what happens. He knew damn well he wasn’t going to let me re-start but just kept making it seem like we could talk about my options. I was unusually sick 4 of the 6 weeks. I worked out maybe 3 times during the whole 6 weeks. I went to weigh in and did not meet the weight-loss goal (expected). He told me he could give me $60 off a membership and there was nothing he could do to help me out even though it wasn’t a typical situation by any means. Regardless, the challenge is definitely not worth $600. And I don’t recommend this gym to anyone. Very unprofessional and will rob your money if for some reason get sick or can’t work out! Bad business practice.

The gym is incredible. However, seton is the secret recipe. I’ve been working out with him for the last 14-16 months and thanks to a great program and a proper nutritional plan I’ve managed to become far stronger than realized I would be. Seton finds interest in those who demand to be interested. I told seton I just had hopes of winning a medal in a local power lifting competition but thanks to him I have aspirations to make it to a national competition at some point. He helped me find a brand new hobby, we discuss powerlifting inside and outside of the gym. Both my bench press and squat have both increased drastically but the lift I’m mostly surprised about is my deadlift, which is close to 500lbs in just a little over a year. Ps I hated deadlifting.

Initially when I entered Hybrid Performance I was looking to increase several areas of my fitness but most of all my strength. Ever since that initial visit, Seton through his programming and consistent messaging has guided my growth far beyond what I was expecting. My Bench Press in particular which I'd struggled with for years exploded from 190 max and in little under a year I've been able hit a P.R of 280 and similar growth in every other lift. None of this would be possible without his incredible knowledge of fitness and programming of my workouts and diet.

This review is long so TL:DR
Seton's comprehensive fitness and nutritional program is transformational
I joined Hybrid in May of 2022. The goal was to lose about 25lbs, gaining a leaner look. For years I've tried countless diet fads on and off the roller coaster with results, but slipping back to old habits.
I approached this with an open mind, but cautiously, as I had failed so many times in the past.
Seton put me on a phased nutrition plan that allowed a variety of foods. I then starting tracking macros, I have now acquired the knowledge to manage my food choices and quantity within the guidelines provided. For fitness, I started with HIIT classes and transitioned to weight lifting classes. Under the direction of Seton and his team I have built muscle and a disciplined, committed approach. Full disclosure, this journey has not been without hiccups I have had bad days but ultimately I have changed in a real, sustainable way. At the risk of sounding cliche, "I surrendered to the process". I followed the direction of the professional and trusted in his expertise. The results are incredible. I'm now training for a show with Seton, I am going for the W and will do what it takes. Without question Hybrid is the best training and nutritional program..... ever!!!

BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!! If you're looking for a program that will help you achieve physical excellence, look no further than Hybrid Performance. Seton's programs are comprehensive and curated to the individual. Whether you're an athlete or have never stepped foot in a gym, Seton and his team are there to support, encourage, and modify any program to help you achieve your goals in a safe and sustainable way. Not only is the environment welcoming, but the trainers Seton has hired are best-in-class; providing helpful guidance, motivation and fun throughout a 45 minute workout. Laura and Alex's early morning classes are the perfect way to kickoff the day, and I could not be happier to be a member.

As someone who has participated in the 6 week challenge, I am a little confused at the negative Google review as this has NOT been my experience. Yes, the free 6-week challenge is tied to accountability metrics (which are **very** clearly explained in person and in the contract), but it is well worth it for the results. I have NEVER been pressured to purchase additional products, and my card has never been charged without my consent. The program works IF you work the program. It's definitely not a magic pill. It's definitely hard work, and it's definitely worth every early morning, and every missed slice of pizza to feel strong, healthy, and happy. Still on the fence? Don't take my word for it: Go in, kick the tires, and see for yourself. There's a 7 day free pass offered on the website.

Watch out for their free 6 week transformation challenge it's $600 bucks at "half price" Seton wants to get your feedback on his "free" 6 week training program you just have to pay to be on a Facebook page and pay for a meal plan and abide by all these other expensive things... If youre unsure of what you want within 24 hours and he's got you he'll still try charging your card. "Hybrid trainer" scam artist and personal trainer

By far the best facility around. The staff here are incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable! They know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible with your workouts. You will not leave disappointed! Such a family vibe as soon as you walk in the doors – I highly recommend checking out this gym. They have everything one could want in a gym with high quality classes, variety, as well as a great location, great staff and a great owner!
