The slow-motion, controlled strength training program at InForm absolutely works! You will feel stronger, healthier and will see and feel the impact on your body within a relatively short period of time. Adam is one of the best instructors I’ve ever met and he is the reason why I get up at 6 AM to come work out at 7 AM at his amazing studio. It has been life-changing, has really strengthened me and mentally has been such a boost in every way. I’ve been doing my workouts with Adam now for several years And I do not intend to stop. I’ve been training with Jon for a few years now and he is amazing. I’ve taken breaks a few times and tried other workouts but I always come back! I would not still be weight training 7 months later if it weren’t for Adam and Inform Fitness. I knew I needed to add weights and strength training to my yoga / racquet sports routine, but I put it off for ages because I hate gyms. Inform gym is for the person who requires individualized training that minimizes the risk of injury while doing weight training. After being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I needed to find a trainer and gym to help me keep fit. When I first started at Inform, I was skeptical since I was a runner who believed a good sweat indicated a good work out. You might not break a sweat at Inform, but the trainers at Inform really put you through a regimen of weight training designed to increase your strength and overall fitness. I have worked with four different trainers at Inform and all were knowledgeable, articulate and patient. They are also committed to helping their clients achieve their exercise and health goals. A plus is an efficient manager who is a lovely lady who tries to accommodate everyone's schedule.

Smart, collegial, focused and it's OVER in twenty minutes!!! You still get the muscle soreness from a multi-hour workout but it's concentrated and quick. I do miss the steam rooms of a traditional gym but INFORM fits well into an urban lifestyle. Terrific staff - great vibe.

I love being strong and fit but I hate to work out. I'm in my 14th straight year of training at InForm Fitness and it's the first strength training I've stuck with because it is so effective and easy to fit into one's schedule. It's an extreme workout but over in just 20 minutes.

I don't think any gym in New York City even comes close to how amazing this place is. When I was in college, I worked out at the gym for 5-8 hours a week. After college, I only played tennis and stopped going to the gym completely for years. When I come here, I work out 30 minutes a week. After 6 months here, my strength gain is comparable to after 6 months of 5-8 hours a week back then. In addition, the machines here are top notch, i.e. Nautilus or MedX. Some machines are even taken a step further; they are retrofitted to increase range of motion and track joint and muscle function better to make the exercises much safer.
I do not have to worry about having 10-20 people in the gym at any given time. There is also a comfortable reception area where I can sit and relax.

I started strength training at Inform Fitness a few years ago after a knee injury prevented me from maintaining my fitness routine. The workouts helped me get stronger and strengthen my legs despite the knee injury. Now that my knee is fully functional again, I continue strength training here because it is so easy to fit these 30 minute workouts into my schedule and I am still getting stronger as a result. Trainer Dan Muhlstock really knows how to maximize muscle building while preventing injury or exacerbating old ones. After spending so much time in other gyms and trying so many other workouts that have caused injury, I finally found a way to get stronger without spending hours in the gym or risking injuries that set me back.

I cannot recommend Inform (and especially my trainer Jon) highly enough. I started coming here 4 years ago before the pandemic and it was one of the things I missed most during lockdown.
I used to do other HIIT classes, but didnt feel like I was making tangible improvement and gettign stronger. With inform I can feel it, but I can also check in on the weight going up with just one 20 minute session per week. The mental challenge of pushing yourself safely to the limit in each muscle group is amazing. Jon keeps me so positive even on hard days. If youre nervous for any reason, Inform is able to accomodate any injuries or changes in your life - I've been able to continue training through all 9 months of pregnancy. Try it out and you'll be hooked.

Don't wait! Proceed directly to Inform Fitness! I have been with Inform Fitness for many years. They are fantastic. You get a full body muscle training workout in 20 minutes! The environment is warm and friendly and workout is hard but SO worth the strength you will gain! I am stronger and happier because of my years at IF. Jon is my current trainer and he's the best. He really knows how to push you to reach your fitness goals and I love training with him. Also, I'm currently healing from a shoulder impingement and Jon is great at modifying the workout to work in tandem with my PT and it's working and my shoulder is getting stronger again!! About six years ago, I experienced crippling back spasms. Following a series of x-rays and MRIs, my doctor noticed some structural issues in my lower back, along with advanced arthritis in my lower facet joints - connections between the bones of the spine. I wasn't even 30 yet, and for a year, I had a hard time standing up and lying down. The arthritis was in part due to regular wear-and-tear growing up walking on the pavement my whole life. The doctor suggested surgery to correct the structural issue, which, for me, was not an option. The second doctor that I saw also suggested some surgery. Both even very willing to prescribe pain killers. I was not having any of it. I then saw another doctor at the suggestion of a family member. That doctor suggested another approach. We addressed the immediate pain with a series of epidurals and painful, but helpful, ultrasound-guided injections. But these were just band-aids. He then told me about InForm Fitness. He suggested that I try it out, that he would reach out to them and let them know what would be best for my back. The goal was the build up the muscles around my lower back. I have been going to InForm Fitness now for nearly five years, and to say that it saved my life would be an understatement.
Yes, my back does still experience some pain here and there, but I haven't had severe spasms in over four years -- even though my job and life have become more stressful. I also haven't received an epidural or other injection since. I am stronger. I have more definition. Those months that I keep a proper diet, I see muscles that I haven't seen since high school.
InForm Fitness is a 20-minute once or twice a week workout that does work. Sure it sounds like a scam, only 20-minutes. However, I go every week because how can I not fit in 20-minutes here and there to ensure I am not confined to a bed or forced to get surgery? In those 20-minutes, as tough as they are, I am getting not just stronger, but healthier and happier. Through the years, I have seen others who suffer more significant injuries and/or illnesses power through the 20-minutes at InForm Fitness. It's been inspiring seeing people go through Chemo but still make it into the gym. I have even run into some of my former Doctors there.
I cannot sing InForm Fitness's praises enough. InForm Fitness saved both my physical and mental being. Often when you feel there is something that works so well for you, you want everyone around you to give them a try. Everyone should give InForm a try. Give them a call.

InForm Fitness is awesome. They have a great environment and encouraging staff! Since I started InForm Fitness' high-intensity strength training back in August, my back pain has decreased drastically, and it has improved my sleep! I have a lot more energy. I’m an active person in her 60’s who plays tennis weekly and walks a lot—fast. But I hate exercise.
