KW fitness is a fantastic place to get started on your health and fitness journey. It is a super friendly, knowledgeable, and overall great atmosphere. The trainers are all super knowledgeable and guide you through each exercise. Personally, I had not made progress on my weight loss journey after trying everything in 3 years and then I found KW fitness and lost 7.5 lbs in my first month. Highly recommend!!!

I joined KW fitness a little over 2 months ago at the recommendation of my wife, because she’d had such good results working with them as she worked to gain strength and lessen her pain re: her surgically replaced knee. I could NOT be more pleased with my results so far!! I’d been bothered by an injury to the piriformis muscle in my left buttocks that had limited my ability to walk any distance w/o pain (I had been walking 3.5 miles, at least 3x a week prior to this injury. I am now walking up to 3-3.5 miles, 2x a week, w/o pain, and feeling stronger overall, not just my legs. It’s an encouraging atmosphere with GREAT trainers that work with us in small groups. There’s also a 24/7 access gym with lots of equipment and weights to use to compliment what we do with the trainer 2x a week. We’ve belonged to other gyms but this one is THE BEST!

By devoting just ONE hour a week to KW Fitness, I have been living a fuller, bigger life.
I was "acting my age" and giving up activities like strenuous hikes and moving heavy items. I decided to fight back instead and it worked!
My two weekly half-hour sessions with Coach Cory H. provide tremendous bang for the buck and spill over into many other aspects of my life. I've lost noticeable pounds and inches while gaining muscle and strength. I'm eating better and being more deliberate about how I use my time. I have new friends and see long-time friends. I get to dance for four hours straight, lead the pack when I hike, and explore a museum from open to close, all without any pain during or after. (And I'm in my 60's.)
Group workouts at KW are fun and different every time - your group of 3-5 people moves through a circuit of exercises in short bursts of about a minute each. Your coach monitors your form and may adjust difficulty for your abilities and goals. It's fast paced and effective! Your only decision is to show up and do what your coach asks. Workouts can be rescheduled if needed.
Monthly private check-ins are markers to measure progress and chat about goals/challenges. All the coaches want you to succeed and are encouraging and supportive. Cory H is on my team no matter what - if we need to tackle a problem, we work on it together. All the coaches are well-educated, experienced and know how to help.
Magic is real at KW - you can turn back the clock and live your life as a younger, more confident person by investing just ONE hour per week. It isn't cheap, but the return on your investment of money and time is unmatched. Spend on KW, not medical interventions! Rage against your age!

The owners and coaches are all amazing and help you stay accountable, all with encouraging attitudes. What an amazing place to get healthy!! In addition the trainers personalize to ability. Leading up to double knee replacement we focused on strength. And post surgery once cleared to return, workouts were tailored to flexibility. All the trainers are fantastic people they are interesting and fun. Kevin and Mandy are never without a smile and a personal touch. They have a wonderful business/ work ethic. It is honestly a joy to be at “the gym”.

I joined KW Fitness 7 weeks ago. Thirteen months after a total knee replacement, two knee manipulations, and pain management visits I needed help. I met with Coach Gavin, explained my issues, and asked if he thought he could help me. My surgical knee is now strong and I can walk up and down stairs. I was able to rehab from my 2nd knee manipulation in the 24/7 gym. I can now get down on the floor to exercise and get back up and have dropped 5 lbs. of body fat. I’m feeling stronger every week. There is constant communication with my coach during workouts and he also checks in with me weekly on my nutrition goals. The coaches and clients are all so nice at KW Fitness. We are all on this journey together. I’m so glad I made the decision to join this group.

I started at KW Fitness in October of 2024 and I am down 20 pounds! It is a very friendly and welcoming place! They do there best to accommodate your schedule and modify workouts for your body. I love that not only you get workouts with a trainer, but that you get full use of their 24 hour gym. I also like that they put workouts on a tv in the gym for you to do as well. I also like that they do an assessment every 4 weeks because it helps keep me accountable.

I have the best trainer at KW Fitness! Cory pushes me to my limits- but it also always there to make sure my form is on point. I have been a member of gyms where I feel like I don’t belong. But at KW Fitness I have found a family atmosphere. Everyone is there to support you. The trainers are fabulous. They want success for you and they make that evident. This review is a huge shout out to KW Fitness. I have been going to this gym since July 2024. This gym is not like a typical gym where you do insane amount of cardio. Before you begin, there is an assessment to determine your goals and fitness levels. The coaches then set up a fitness and nutrition plan for you based on your health. In the last 4 months, I have lost greater than 20 pounds and several inches. My endurance has increased and I am getting stronger everyday. And the best part, the coaches never restrict you from eating any food. My trainer permits me all food/drinks in moderation. There are monthly check-ins to observe your progress and celebrate your achievements. I train with coaches Larissa, Gavin, and Cory at this gym and they have been a huge part of my fitness journey. If you are looking to begin or revamp your fitness journey, KW Fitness is the spot for you!

If your not a gym person this is the place to be. KW treats you like family. All the trainers are Ultra supportive of all your goals. I've been with KW almost a year and they have changed my life. When I stop and think about it, it amazes me how big a part KW plays in my life. Over the last 6+ years, KW has seen me through a knee replacement, Covid, and cancer. These guys are the best! They help identify our training needs & continually encourage our development & improvement. They moved to Zoom training when other facilities closed at the peak of COVID, then continued the option when allowed to open, thereby meeting the needs of their clients. Even as a snow bird, I've been able to train with them via Zoom to get the guidance & encouragement I need to stay focused. They have client centered activities where we can meet others. They recognize people for their accomplishments. Thanks to them I was able to lose 30 lbs and keep it off for over a year.
To anyone who is on the fence, I say go meet them, talk with them or any of the other clients there. You will see and hear their success stories and make the decision to take care of yourself with their support.

Awesome place. Very much NOT you typical jock gym. Personal training and nutrition counseling and accountability. Been going since November 2022 and the changes are real. If I bought a membership in a big box gym, I'd be lucky to be going 3 days a month. Here I go three days a year. I'm worth it.

I been a part of the KW Fitness Vestal Rockstars since December. Since attending 2 training sessions a week with my Trainer Mikayla I have gone from 260 to 244 pounds, increased my muscle mass, stopped drinking 6+ sodas a day and eating really badly and live less of a sedentary lifestyle. Physically and mentally am feeling better and lowered my A1C, cholesterol and blood pressure considerably. It is a truly valued investment in my health and wellness. The 24-hour gym is great I spend at least 2-3 sessions at this space. KW FITNESS is not a gym. No one will point you to two or three machines and leave you to figure it out. You won't be in an aerobics class of 50 people. KW FITNESS is a client-focused fitness center. At KW you are in a comfortable setting with a small group of 3 or 4 other folks. Your trainer sets the routines for the session and is there to assist you while timing each activity. There is no guesswork on your part...Am I doing this right? Am I doing enough? Is this activity doing what I want? Will this hurt me? Your trainer is there. Having tried other gyms, I really appreciate that Coach Cory is with us for the entire time. No assigning an exercise and leaving us to do it on our own. He's right there counting reps or keeping time and corrects our technique when necessary. Plus it's inspiring to work out regularly with just a few folks who have quickly become friends. There's never more than 5 in a session so we all get plenty of feedback from our coach. Lastly, 30 minutes of non-stop exercise and you're out the door - it easily fits into a busy schedule.

I absolutely love KW Fitness!!!! I joined a little over a year ago and finally feel like I can workout pain free. I have done so many at home programs and always had to give up due to self injury. I joined gyms in the past but it was like planet fitness where you use what they have on your own. KW never lets you feel alone! My trainer Larissa and all the trainers at KW make you feel so welcomed! When I first started I couldn’t do a plank without getting back pain. Now one year later I can happily and proudly say, I can do planks and more without pain! They have tons of options! You can do 1 on 1 sessions or group sessions. I do group sessions and absolutely love the strong amazing people I workout with twice a week! If you have been on the fence about starting or giving them a call, don’t hesitate. After years of not working out enough and sitting at a desk all day for my job, I won a free 3 month program with KW. This organization is always giving back to the community, with giveaways like the one I was fortunate enough to win as well as workout fundraisers and clothing sales where they give 100% of the proceeds to charity!
During my time at KW I was blown away by the service they provided and the community they fostered. My trainer Larissa was awesome - she encouraged me every week to stick with the program and even tailored workouts to my physical needs, which included working around some health issues such as back pain. Everyone I had the pleasure of working out with in the small group sessions was friendly and supportive.
After 3 months of workouts I have more energy, feel better, am noticeably stronger, lost inches in my waist, thighs, and arms, and most importantly my back pain has improved tremendously! I now have the confidence to work out on my own as well, without fear of injuring myself further. I have been working out at KW in Vestal for two years now. And I love it. I work out with coach Cory twice a week and the results have been fantastic. I have more energy, I'm gaining muscle, and consistently losing body fat. Not only am I losing fat but I've been able to keep the weight off for over two years now. Cory and all the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.The clients are also friendly and supportive. When I started there I had no idea what to do or how to do it. Having a personal trainer to hold you accountable and to guide you based on what you're goals are is one of the best things you can do for not only yourself but for your loved ones too. In addition to working out with a trainer they also have a 24/7 space upstairs where you can work out on your own anytime day or night, whenever it's convenient for you. If you're on the fence about hiring a personal trainer I would highly recommend you stop in and talk to one of the friendly staff and see for yourself what a great friendly and family atmosphere KW has to offer. I joined KW Fitness in May 2022 and it was a great decision! It’s been a positive experience and my trainer, Cory, is great! Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel like part of a family. Hi my name Julissa Heil I have been going to KW Fitness for about 10 months. The reason I started going was because my sister Paige had been going there since after Christmas, she was telling me about it and suggesting that I try it out because the trainers and everybody there is so nice.
I have Cerebral Palsy and use a walker and a wheelchair to get around. I was having difficulty getting around because I was to stiff. I talked to them and they said they could help me. They did help me to be able to move better.
My first trainer left to do other things but I now have Larissa and she is very helpful. She makes exercise not feel like a workout.
All the stuff are really knowledgeable about different exercises and they set up individual programs depending upon your capabilities.
I highly recommend KW Fitness to anyone. No matter what your circumstances are they will work with you. I don’t regret my decision to join. Thanks for making me feel so comfortable.

Before KW, the thought of going to a gym or having a personal trainer, intimidated me - all of that was way too far outside of my comfort zone. I had been struggling to lose some weight since having my fourth baby and nothing seemed to be working. I was getting discouraged, and let’s get real, I only had myself holding me accountable. Nothing seemed to work, and something had to change.
From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel like family. All the trainers are welcoming and helpful. I have been training with Cory and cannot say enough good things about him.

Back in July my husband and I decided to join KW Fitness. I am 55 with MS and he is 60 and was recovering from surgery. We were so weak and out of shape. Everything hurt! We decided we “weren’t going out like this!” We called Kevin and he signed us up with Alicia. Alicia is accommodating with my weaknesses and is always ready with a different exercise for me to try. This review is long, but there is just so much "GOOD" to share about KW!
I joined KW in January 2020. I knew I needed help. I was sluggish, tired and not engaging life – just going through the motions, and I know life is better than that. It is a gift not to be taken lightly.
KW is not a “gym membership with personal trainers” or a “diet program”. It is a hands-on learning facility. They teach you how to safely exercise, with modifications if needed. They teach you diet – not “a” diet, but what a body needs to lose weight and gain strength. They teach portion control, the difference between carb and protein, and what vitamins and minerals do to and for your body. They essentially teach you how and what to eat according to YOUR body. If you are open and honest with them, they can and will help.
KW is always non-judgmental; no matter the circumstances. I do not typically like crowds so I knew a traditional gym was not for me. KW keeps their exercise groups very small and there are typically only 1, 2 or 3 groups in the facility at any given time. I was nervous at first, but the trainers - and the clientele - are so friendly, I was relaxed within a matter of minutes of my first workout. Their workouts are fun (and sometimes very entertaining), they keep you engaged and interested, and no two are exactly the same.

KW recognizes that we are all human and being human, sometimes we fall off the exercise wagon or the meal wagon. That’s ok on occasion, they help you regain your footing and give you a leg up to get you back on track (or the wagon, as it were). It happened to me and there were no judgments from the KW team, which was a huge relief because I was embarrassed and ashamed. Those feelings came from within and let’s just say, I gave myself an attitude adjustment.
One final thought on how much KW cares. I joined before the pandemic started, so I have the advantage of a “before COVID” and “after COVID” perspective. When our world changed so drastically, the KW team was all over how to keep their clientele on track! They scrambled to create workout videos (all different each day and every week), your trainer called you each week to “check in” and see if your physical and mental health was adjusting to the craziness, the e-mails and videos to keep you motivated were in your e-mail inbox, recipes and adaptations were available (because, let’s face it, we weren’t going to the grocery store every other day, and if you did, what you needed was probably not there), they loaned their own equipment until they were able to open back up so you didn’t need to buy anything you would not use otherwise, and they made you feel comfortable enough to call – anytime – with questions, concerns, or just to talk.
The KW team has brought me back to the fun-loving, happy person that I lost for a time. In my opinion, KW is not a gym membership; it is an investment in a healthy lifestyle helping you make better choices in all aspects of life. Thank you KW!

I started coming to KW Fitness during the beginning of quarantine. The at-home workouts were great and my trainer was very attentive and checked in with me every week to follow-up and set goals! I lost around 9 pounds in approximately 3 months of at-home workouts. I was so excited because I wasn’t expecting to lose much weight or gain much muscle especially since I felt like I hit a plateau after having my daughter almost two years ago. I’ve only continued to see more progress since going into the gym for in-person training and love it! It’s such a great atmosphere because everyone is so positive and motivating.
I wouldn’t have been able to do this without my trainer, Cam and everyone at KW Fitness! I’m so glad I joined KW Fitness and I highly recommend coming here. It will be one of the best decisions you ever make!!

During this time of things reopening they have a very professional plan for when you enter and during your session. They have you wash/sanitize your hands before going in, you need separate sneakers so you are not bringing in anything, they have social distance markers for stretching and during your exercise session. They sanitize weights as soon as you finish your session ( you use the same ones for your class time). I am very comfortable with all their precautions .

This place is amazing! They have encouraged me to go from a couch potato to someone who cares about my fitness. All the staff are caring, kind, supportive and professional. The workouts are individualized to your specific needs or limitations. They recognize effort and progress with client spotlights, and have great open communication. Hands down one of the best training facilities and trainers around. I thought I would start with my accomplishments since July 2019. But, these accomplishments would not have been possible with out everyone at KW Fitness and the KW family. I have always been a work out/running person. In the past I have struggled for results. I have obtained more results in six months then my entire life of working out/running. You are not judged by either trainer or fellow clients. You are held accountable, but not lectured if you fall of the wagon. With my workout and running schedule, KW Fitness has helped me figure out the best eating habits. I can honestly tell you, I have never eaten at such a consistency as I do now, and the weight is dropping and the muscle tone is noticeable. I live by, you get what you pay for and KW is worth every penny. With their eating suggestions/education, personal training and suggestions for a little extra at home, you can accomplish your goals. Words are only words, but numbers don't lie, so I will share: Lost 20.3lbs, 12% body fat, 25.2 pounds of fat, -12 inches and gained 3 pounds of muscle. I became a KW member in February of 2019. I needed professional help. 40 years of sitting behind a desk and pushing a pencil had taken its toll on me. I’d been active in sports in my younger years but blew out a knee skiing. The team at KW has helped make me feel 15 years younger. I joined KW Fitness in Vestal this past May and have never enjoyed physical fitness as much as I do now! With a sedentary desk job and running my teenager around, I never used to find time to exercise or focus on quality nutrition. I started at KW Fitness over 2 mo ago in the Jump-Start program. I chose this facility because they have done a lot of research in areas that I was having difficulty with. I liked the Jump Start program so much I have kept on going! Kevin and Mandy and the whole team of trainers are awesome! They work with me on achieving my goals, push me to go beyond, encourage me, and keep me accountable. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and I like working one -on -one or in small group. I AM SO HAPPY I joined KW Fitness. It is by far the best facility I have ever been in. I am currently 2 weeks in with the 4-week Jump Start Program and am beyond pleased with my experience and results so far.
KW Fitness is such a positive atmosphere from the staff to the clients-everyone is super awesome. Everyone is so friendly, supportive, entertaining and encouraging. The staff are very talented and knowledgeable. They pay attention to YOU-correcting form, making certain you are pushing yourself but at the same time doing okay. KW is the accountability and support I needed.
I LOVE the workouts. Every workout is something new and challenging. I am much more comfortable with strength training thanks to the team who has continuously corrected my form, encouraged me and enlightened me with the various options you can do with gym equipment and how to create a killer 30-minute workout.
The nutrition aspect was my biggest struggle before joining KW Fitness. I didn’t understand why I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. Now, I know what macros by body needs, when I should be eating, how much I should be eating and the answers to all my WHY questions.
I highly recommend KW Fitness. Hands down-5 stars.

I have been going to KW for a little over a month, and it has made such a positive impact on my life in so many ways. The staff there always goes out of their way to be welcoming and encouraging, with a ton of upbeat energy and enthusiasm.
I never really felt like I knew what I was doing in a typical "gym" environment, and blocking off time to exercise on my own would not happen very often. I might spend double the time that I do at KW and not even get a good workout, because I didn't know what I was doing or how to go about it effectively. But at KW, every workout is different, challenging, and personalized--and somehow only 30 minutes long! It's great for a busy mom like myself, and their hours are super accommodating so finding a time that worked for me wasn't hard at all. I can't recommend KW Fitness highly enough!!

I started last Oct. when I was at my heaviest. I actually didn't join with the main goal of weight loss (although it was a hope), I joined because I was coming up on 40 and noticed that I would get winded bending over to tie my shoe, on stairs, and any other activity. My strength had deteriorated, sciatica, shortness of breath, bloat...the whole gamut. I was way to young to feel that old so I decided that if I didn't do anything about it, I was only going to get worse and end up in a hover round by 45...I'm too young at heart for all that.
It was hard at first, but the trainers are all great, I've had the pleasure of working with them all, the staff and other clients are all SUPER supportive and encouraging, not the in your face yelling like at some other places. It didn't take long to notice a difference in my endurance, strength, MOOD, confidence, mental alertness, and so much more. You don't realize how a little exercise can affect your overall health. When I wake up stiff, tired and don't feel like going, I make myself, and NEVER regret it. I always feel much better after. The old adage is 100% true- USE IT OR LOSE IT. The more I move, the better I feel.
For those that think, "I don't have time", it is only a half hour per session, and believe me, it flies by! That is only 2% of your day.
For those that think, "I can't afford it", the cost FAR outweighs the the improvements to your health and well being. Less sickness, less injuries, less doctor visits for blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar, etc. Less money spent on junk and fast food because they incorporate proper nutrition guidance as well. You will feel like a million bucks.
I know that I sound like a commercial, but I promise you that I do not work there, or get paid for promoting them, they have just changed my life and inspired me to do things that I never thought possible...like running my first 5K this summer (without having to stop to walk). There is accountability to keep you on track, and I can't stress enough the support and encouragement from the staff... I will never go back to the way I was.

I have been working out with Kevin at KW Fitness for over a year. Kevin has helped me get in shape and lose 25 pounds (and counting). I have not felt this good in years. Aches and pains disappeared and I have the energy to do all the outdoor activities I love!
What makes Kevin special is that he promotes a sensible fitness plan that really works. He helps you develop good fitness and diet habits. He helps you stay on track. You don’t need fancy machines or gimmicky diets to get in shape and drop the pounds. He adapts exercises for you so that there is no risk of injury.
If you are contemplating surgery or pills to solve your pain problems, I suggest you try KW Fitness first! (Plus, it is a lot less expensive to get in shape than to do that other stuff!)

Kevin is a great trainer! He personalizes the workout to your needs, and changes it up every session so you never get bored. He's a great motivator and helps you to work harder and push yourself past the limits you set for yourself. He's always prepared and has all of the equipment set up for your entire workout so that you can move right from one workout to the next and really get the most out of the time in your session.
