11/08/2025 Update:
Both water filters haven't been replaced since like a few months ago. Both drinking water fountains have green light but water has strong presence of chlorine taste which means that filters isn't there and they have been bypassed.
11/22/24 Update:
Strong scent of disgusting weed is in the air. I can't stand it. It's unbearable and must be reported to appropriate authorities.
Water filter haven't been replaced since like a week ago and it's already red light. The other drinking water fountain has green light but water has strong presence of chlorine taste which means that filter isn't there and it has been bypassed. Also about a month ago, I found empty water bottle in locker that has been sitting there for a while and was covered in mold from inside. And closed haven't been cleaned for a long time as I saw that bottle and dirt on the bottom of the closed for at least 6 months.
Preveously: Sauna is not working for 2nd week already. And that's the only reason why I have membership here. Otherwise I would go Planet Fitness. Unbelievable!
P.S. After 3rd week, sauna have been fixed but the water filter haven't been changed in 3 weeks already and another one have orange light already which means that it's time to order it.
Update 02/25/2024: Both water filters needs to be replaced.
Update 03/08/2024: Water filter has been replaced but I can taste chlorine in water. Seems like either bad quality filter or filter bypass.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I tried to cancel my membership by going into the branch and talking to Brian. He told me he cancelled it & I continued to get charged for two more months. All Brian says is he does not recall our conversation when he said he would cancel my membership (I was later told he did not write down notes when he told me he did) so he couldn’t give me a refund. One employee at the desk told me that he probably didn’t cancel my membership since he was trying to make his numbers look better. Brian hung the phone up on me when I asked to speak to his manager and he just continued to say I would hear back tomorrow… and no one ever calls me. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for someone to get back to me about a refund after more than 10 times trying to ask when a manager would be available. Finally, the district manager called me back after filing a complaint with the BBB and was very understanding. But I would never go back to this gym. Terrible experience. Carmen was the only employee at the front desk who apologized on behalf of the gym and took time to hear me.

I’ve been training at LA Fitness in Greece, NY for about two months now with my personal master trainer José, and the experience has been phenomenal. The progress I’ve made in this short time has been tremendous! Not just physically, but in my overall motivation and consistency as well.

José is an incredible trainer. He pushes me the right way, keeps me focused, and always brings positive energy to every session. Training three times a week is an investment, and while the price is on the higher side, the results and support I’ve received make it absolutely worth it.

The staff overall have been very supportive, creating an environment that keeps me motivated and excited to keep going. I can confidently say I’ve never felt more on track with my fitness goals. Highly recommend José and the team at LA Fitness Greece!

The new morning staff is unbelievably good. They are the hardest working staff I have ever seen. It was a typical gym , not exactly clean and weights not always put away. Now the staff is getting a workout picking up after the night before. It’s so good to see people who care and work so hard.

I went to sign up for personal training and I was TOLD it would be 165 a YEAR and 40 a MONTH for my actual membership. I was not looking at a contract, I did not have the paperwork, i electronically signed something where i was roped into paying 165 A MONTHH and now it’s 550 upfront to cancel which I also can’t afford. I have a witness who also said we were not made aware of in any way that it would be this much or we simply would not have signed up😂. This man has done this to many others from my understanding and needs to get fired. i do not have this money to be spending on the damn gym. That’s absolutely RIDICULOUS. And guess what i called corporate and they said the same thing and couldn’t do anything for me. I’m ready to take you guys to court at this point. I want my money back and I will be resigning from this gym!! Do not go here. His name is BRIAN!

Beware of deceptive sales: I was visiting family in Greece over easter weekend and came in to purchase a guest day pass. I was told it was $20 which was completely fine. Brian W was assisting me and was aware that I was visiting only for a short amount of time. He swiped my card himself and I told him my email. I was just looking at my most recent bank statement and found out that I was charged twice over the course of a month one for $60 and one for $40. I was never told I was signing up for a membership, or that I had to cancel my "day pass" or trial to not incur any charges. I went through my email and had no record of anything from LA Fitness, come to find out he entered my email (replacing a 1 with a 2). We've reported this to the store directly and corporate in hopes for a refund. I would avoid this place at all costs tbh.

Always crowded, store manager has a stick up his but and frankly isn’t that friendly or helpful (in my experience). Cancelled membership in person after a few months and was charged a month later for some reason. Gotta say they were quick to acknowledge they were wrong and refunded so that’s good. Gym is smaller than you would think. It’s expensive for some reason (maybe for the pool and sauna it has that are just not appealing at all it’s almost like they have it just to say they have it so they can charge more)

I went in person to cancel my membership back in December. Then they charged me for the month of January after I canceled it, I called and they told me they will take care of it , and then the following month I was charged again. They told me they can’t reimburse me because they have no proof I canceled. Even though I called multiple times . Wouldn’t recommend .

Oh Miles miles where do i begin with you first you sold me something on text when you weren’t even supposed to, calls only which you did later on when it would benefit you, without ever even asking for proof of ID. Miles is a scammer and not a very good one at that just like he is not very good at his job. he said my $158 late balance would be waived, i would only have to pay $99.99as a promotion that they had going on, and i would get a new account with only having to pay 29.99 for the new account and i would get to keep my old monthly rate, and he would cancel my old account and waive the annual fee since i already had an existing account . He started me on a new account that was $49.99 never cancelled my old one and still charged me a annual fee. He went on for weeks saying that the account just needed to update and never did. For some reason the $99.99 payment didn’t go through and they never notified me. When i called to see what was going on and why the app didmt update and didnt reflect my $29.99 rate they had told me that the payment didnt go through and thats why it didn’t go back to 29.99. So he took the $99.99 payment again just to start me on a whole new account and switched my name around. he didn’t apply the payment on the new account he created a brand new account and still never deactivated the original account or the second account. A couple of days pass and i get charged a 59.99 annual feel when he was supposed to waive that fee to begin with. I called the gym and they informed me that i had three accounts under my name. The original one which i owed $158, the two accounts that they opened in January 12th and January 20th which i would be charged a 59.99 fee for both of them and the $99.99 that i had payed for the second time. In between all three accounts i owed them almost 400 dollars. If i would of know all they stealing that they would cause because they make money off that commission, i would of paid off the balance and kept my lower account. which was what i did i went to home gym cancelled the accounts payed off my balance and kept my old rate oh and lets not mention that there was never a forgiveness program it was all a lie. And he forged my signature for the 2nd account opened on January 12th, i never received an email for the account opened on the 20th so they used a completely different email and switched my name and again faked my signature which i found out when i called my home gym. I never even got to review the contract they signed it without my consent, and when i kept on asking which it said 49.99 on the final copy which was not what we agreed on he just kept said i would receive a new contract and it would change on the app and those things never happened, i just kept getting charged and piling charges. Train your employees better, people work hard for their money.
