Completely deceptive and unprofessional. I thought my membership was canceled months ago, yet two unapproved transactions appeared over Thanksgiving—when the gym wasn’t open for phone calls. When I contacted them the next morning for a refund, they insisted my membership had only been “paused,” not canceled, even though I was not charged for 3 months and no longer live in the same state. Management will not work with you at all to resolve any miscommunication and will in fact blame you for it, while using terms like "complementary pause" as if randomly charging your card for a membership you thought was already canceled is somehow doing you a "favor". Be very cautious about giving this company your billing information—they will make it far too easy to charge you and difficult to end your membership.

The employees here are not good. They are not even close to be helpful. I asked i have trouble with the vending machine, that guy didn’t even come and check he straight up said “ I cant do anything call the number on the machine you are on your own” like he didn’t even care. Gym is dirty, equipment is hanging on by a thread. I went for a quick workout this evening and 3 of the machines I went to use were out of service, most with no sign. Greeted by staff with hi, just so you know we are closing in an hour. Then approached by the same person a few minutes before closing time while I was on a treadmill and told I needed to go they were closed. I have never felt so much like I was wasting my money, and have had better experiences at a planet fitness which is a fraction of the price. Terrible gym- would leave zero stars if I could.

Can a member of the staff please take care of the dumbbells?

It’s far and away the nicest LA Fitness I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, they have the most disorganized dumbbell rack I’ve ever seen.

It can’t even be blamed on inconsiderate members at this point. It looks like the weights haven’t been in their designated spots since opening day.

Everyday, I see people walking back and forth trying to find the weight they need. Members shouldn’t have to complete a scavenger hunt every time we need a pair of dumbbells.

Daily maintenance of the area would prevent the domino effect of weights being scattered all over the place.

Please help me stop dreading having to do dumbbell work at your location!

8/12 - approx 2:42 pm, went into locker room to finish work out. Came back from using bathroom found a client with guest who's 6'0 white tank top white headset curly hair attempt stand by my locker as his friend sitting on bench going through lockers. Caught his friend by my locker door looking like he was going to open it and attempting go through it.
Reported it to Xavier, both denied shortly after walking in after me they left after last seen them far opposite side of the men's locker room at his friend's locker or going through another lockers in locker room. I waited for two days for David the operation manager call me due to his busy schedule, but failed to do so. Now here is my review.
Come to this location where staff doesn't care about what happened to clients - which are your things especially of you have a lock and locker gets tempered with.

The gym in general is very good, good location and has the necessary equipment to exercise, but the only problem I see and that maybe could be is the showers are always dirty and especially there is never soap in any shower. There are 8 showers and you have to check one by one to see which one has soap.👎

It is almost impossible to cancel a membership with this company. I genuinely feel like a divorce or exiting a cult would be easier. I spoke with them multiple times. Yesterday they sent me an email on which I followed up and call again. They told me that they will send me an email where I can cancel the membership and here I am, with no email sent to me… I now have to drive over an hour to get to them to cancel a GYM Membership.

Have been a member since opening…..it’s a disaster when it comes to the pool. The aqua class has over 35 people every Monday and Wednesday, however the pool has been closed for repair of 2 small leaks for over 2 months! Corporate office in LA gives you the runaround every time you call. They dug up an area a month ago and have done nothing……people on machines are inconsiderate and sit on their phones while other people are waiting…….needs to do better or they will lose members!

The court has become increasingly slippery during play, which I believe is due to the lack of functioning air conditioning. The heat and humidity inside the gym have created unsafe playing conditions, increasing the risk of slips, falls, and potential injuries.

I really like this gym. Very good layout. There pretty quick with repairs and fixing the ripped padding that happens. The staff is very nice and always acommodating with the Kids Club. The only complaint is that there needs to be more policing with the dumbells ad putting them back on the proper spots on the rack. Also I know it can't be helped but the entire High School comes over around 2:30. Thats my cue to leave.😁😁

The facility is always clean, the equipment is top-notch, and there’s a great variety for every workout style. But what really sets it apart is the staff—the managers, Steve and David, and the workers as a whole, are especially professional, approachable, and always present. You can tell they genuinely care about the members and the atmosphere they’ve created. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile, and it makes working out something I actually look forward to! The only thing that I would say it’s lacking is a sauna…but I’d still choose this location over others despite the fact :)

The pool is closed for major repairs AGAIN -about two weeks ALREADY! NOW, last year it was closed for a month for major repairs after being closed for being broken for almost a month before that . This was supposed to fix the entire problem they broke concrete they waited two months . And other than once or twice it has been okay but it didn't get fixed because now it's been closed for almost 2 weeks and I bet it's closed for another month while they wait here is what they are giving as their excuse why they are still waiting ..." we are waiting for Corporal corporate approval of the repair ".

As I said the management was very bad but I hope that operations get better there's a new manager he seems to be on the ball although the cleanliness of the showers still while improved is not up to standards for a respectable club. I enjoy going here it's not too crowded people are nice although everyone is in their own world and never recognize this or says hello to anyone. So it is a mixed bag at this LA fitness and while the pool is broken I got to experience another one and that club was much bigger and better so bye I can't go there without spending $40 in cab fare, I guess I'm stuck with my two-star mediocre hopefully on the way up club. But for $40 a month what do you want.??

My 2 year old niece has been discriminated against and mistreated by the person in charge, she does not take care of her, she practically sends my other nephew who is 10 years old to take care of her, without thinking that she is the one who is paid to take care of those children... the manager does not even apologize for the situation and threatens to close their membership for claiming the care of their children (being that they pay for those services)... they do not let them record because they know that the lady who takes care of them yells at them and speaks badly, even when there are parents present...

The Gym is a very well equipped club, but unfortunately there is too much flow of people, and every day new people come in. At all times of the day there is a line to use the machines, and two of the main machines have been damaged for more than a week. On the second floor there are not enough mats for stretching.

I absolutely love this Gym. The classes are fantastic. I love Samantha‘s Zumba class and Jones yoga class. The facility is so clean and the front desk people are so polite and sweet.
