You have member who come in an hour before classes and save up to 6 spots for their Zumba friends. I go a half hour before class and has witnessed this Asian lady place notes, shoes, mats and weights to hold spot. There are arguments and screaming matches over spots where some one put a bottle to hold space and said she had to go to the bathroom only to loose out to an arrogant person . end result altercation. This I witnessed at LA FITNESS Garden City Park and Lake Success. Just awful.
Maybe if tv monsters were installed people wouldn't fight for the first 2 rows of the room. These gyms are in NY

The rep name Josh is extremely rude and doesn’t have any manners to talk to customers.I don’t know who hired him but this person needs to be disposed off.He is extremely unprofessional and takes out his personal frustration onto customers not only me I have seen him talk to other customers as well.I will be contacting corporate and take serious action against him and explain them the whole incident.Rep likes these don’t deserve to be in customer service jobs.I would like the manager of this store to contact me if not I’m already in works to call corporate for him.I will be cancelling my annual membership and more over 10 of my family members have done the same.This rep made this gym of a bad repute.Everyone boycott this gym cause you will be treated as same in future.

I love this gym! Everyone is super friendly and accepting of all. I love the aqua fit classes which are fun and socially interactive. I’ve made lots of friends in the short time that I’ve been a member. The place is spotless and inviting. The group classes are challenging and enjoyable at the same time. You won’t be disappointed whether you’re a beginner or seasoned exercise enthusiast.

WHY IS EVERYTHING AT THIS GYM ALWAYS BROKEN?! And it takes months to get things fixed. Floor is a mess no one corrects members when they just trash the place leaving weights everywhere etc. Audio system also been broken for a few weeks now and no one seems to care. I only come here bc it’s close to home.

It’s mind boggling that this gym is run so well, yet the one in West Babylon is so horrible.
The gym has a great front desk staff. It’s clean. People put their weights back. It’s a smaller gym but it’s 1000 times better than the one down the road (West Babylon). If I had one complaint it’s super dark all the time. I wish they would put lights on once in an awhile. I highly recommend. .

Your North Babylon location used to be a great facility but lately there is a problem with staff. Theirs No Managers on site, bathrooms are not kept clean, equipment is falling apart,and their is no one to fix the problem.This location had to close early this month due to no staff. Unacceptable.

Very disappointed with the service at this gym. Our family has a full membership that includes access to the gym and group classes. But in reality — it feels like a scam.
My husband works late and can’t accompany me to the gym, and I only have one class per week — literally my only chance to work out — and they refused to let me in!
The staff were rude, dismissive, and treated me like I was trying to sneak in off the street for free.
There’s absolutely no respect for paying clients, zero flexibility, and a complete lack of basic human decency.
I do not recommend this gym to anyone who expects fair treatment or professionalism. Total disappointment.

An amazing gym with a great staff.. update time after being here for a year . This place is a joke. They take absolutely no care of the basketball court ,it gets extremity hot in there and it gets damp on the floors which make it very dangerous to run on the court . Also the staff is terrible .Avoid coming to this location at all cost .
Update #2 it’s been 7 years and this place hasn’t gotten any better. Basketball court closes early for no reason at all . Manager always has some response that doesn’t make sense as to why .

I started coming to the North Babylon LA Fitness facility as a guest of my sister. As soon as I walked in I was blown away as to how much equipment they have and the cleanliness of the entire facility as I was taken on a tour with the GM, Joseph and the PTD, Andrew (both awesome personable guys). The equipment is very well maintained and there is so much available to do. The aerobic, spin cycle, yoga and pool classes are phenomenal. The locker rooms, showers and bathrooms are always clean. I’m recovering from a bad accident and coming here has been instrumental with my recovery. The staff is amazing and friendly and truly listen and educated me on so many things I was not aware of when it comes to exercising!!! I’m totally addicted to Notth Babylon LA Fitness!!! I can’t thank them enough!!

Ask for Joe!! Most passionate, hardworking, and friendly mgr - takes care of business if things not being dealt with that really need attention from management. Cares about his members. The place isn’t perfect, some machines need fixing here and there - let mgmt know and it will happen but can take time - almost always see cleaning staff working locker rooms - but like any gym, it gets crowded at the usual times, things don’t properly get put back by people, or cleaned after use. For the price you can’t expect staff walking around w cool towels and cleaning up after you -this isn’t the four seasons. But of all the LA’s in this area this one is the most well run. Otherwise gotta go all the way to Lake Success.

They were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. Josh took the time to answer all of my questions clearly and walked me through every step, making sure I understood all my options. His friendly and approachable demeanor made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely helpful and customer-focused — LA Fitness is lucky to have him! I been attending the North Babylon LA fitness for a few years now and I do get a good workout and it is fairly clean but there’s a manager named Jess she has dreads. She is phenomenal. She’s so inspiring and so helpful and she always has a smile on her face and it just brightens my day when I get here. She’s always willing to take a few minutes to talk to you and fix whatever issues you may have.

Dumbell area is too long, no one ever puts them back where they belong. Not enough good machines. Only one station in the whole gym to do deadlifts or squats, are you kidding me?!? Shorten the dumbell area or do new construction and extend the gym into that giant yoga room that no one ever uses. Also, no sauna or steamroom?!? For these prices and not to have all the essential things I mentioned is shameful. Management is a joke to not have these issues fixed
