I came at exactly 1:05pm and was not allowed to join the class. Your instruction showed AFTER 5 minutes.
“We have a 12 hour cancellation policy, credit will be lost for late cancels or no shows (unlimited members will be charged $15 for late cancels and $25 for no shows). Please arrive on time, you will not be allowed into class after 5 minutes and your spot may be given away to a client waiting”.
It was supposed to be my second class for the Buy One, Take One offer for first time members. I was there before cutoff but the receptionist did not allow me to join my friend, so I just quietly walked out, you can check your CCTVs. The instructor even asked my friend why I was not allowed to join, when the class just barely started. It’s a shame since the place is cool and I had a good experience the first time.

If you are looking to start pilates this is the place to go ! I have taken a couple of classes in the past and it was intense but worth it . The instructors actually focus on each person , make sure you have a good form , and motivate you .

By far my favorite pilates studio! I love going with my sister and being greeted so warmly every time. It’s super clean and I also love every instructor I’ve had thus far! The routines do vary but they are ALWAYS cohesive, fun and challenging in the best way. Unlike other loud studios which can be overstimulating, I truly feel like I can focus and seamlessly transition because directions are always clear and instructors are always mindful of making gentle corrections/encouraging modifications if need be. I’m super appreciative of their kindness and willingness to help because I know to implement those corrections moving forward. I’ve also attended community classes which have been an amazing addition to the schedule. They have been a lovely experience each time and I absolutely loved Julia and her pure-hearted, uplifting energy! I genuinely walk away feeling stronger every time and I can’t imagine not incorporating Lagree Pilates into my fitness routine. I love you guys!!!❤️

LagreeNY is the real deal!! I’m a Lagree trainer myself & I cannot say enough good things about this studio! I was visiting the area for a week & was hoping to find a studio comparable to my own in LA, and to say I was satisfied would be an understatement. I came every day and had the pleasure of taking classes with Emily, Sarah, and Marie - they were all WONDERFUL!! Super clear instructions, helpful cues, modifications and advancements offered, and they really pay attention to the Lagree fundamentals which is crucial. The studio itself is clean, bright, and the machines are well taken care of. Truly a 10/10 experience - if you’re looking for a great Lagree studio in Astoria, then look no further. I am already looking forward to coming back the next time I visit. Thank you for making my week here so much better, LagreeNY team!! ☺️

I wanted a change from just lifting at the gym. I’ve done pilates in the past and hated it. But I just completed my 5th class and I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH!!!!!! Have already noticed a difference in my weight loss and muscle tone. Angela is my ultimate favorite instructor. She’s warm, understanding and really cares if you’re correcting your form! I've been coming here for over a year and increased my membership from 4 classes/month to 8 classes/month at the beginning of 2025 because I love this studio and this method! Lagree NY is the only place where I purchased a membership instead of taking classes via ClassPass.
All of the instructors at the studio are also amazing! Some can seem intimidating at first, but they're all extremely nice and friendly.

If you’re looking for a precise, functional, kick-ass workout taught by some of the coolest staff you’ll ever meet, you’ve come to the right place.
Laurie, the owner and an instructor, is a literal dose of caffeine with a sunshine smile! Tiger will dance along to Sabrina Carpenter or Beyoncé while teaching a killer class and noticing each and every detail of your alignment. Sarah R rocks a Snow White vibe but don’t be fooled- she will kick your a**! And Sarah L is not only INSANELY challenging but super creative with her choreography (like, no idea how she comes up with her sequences!) Mandy might be the nicest human alive and her OG Hip Hop playlists are to die for! Emily delivers an intense challenge with every class. Taking Andrea‘s class almost feels like a meditation -she has the calmest, most graceful vibe while instructing with detailed precision. And Marie is your go-to for a solid, challenging and creative workout with an awesome 80’s playlist. (Everyone here is amazing - these are just my regular instructors due to scheduling)

Truly the best workout with the best staff! I’ve been going to Lagree for a little over a year and I can’t believe how much stronger I’ve become. It was really hard at the start, but everyone is so supportive and really care about your safety and success. Amazing workout with supportive instructors! I’ve been working out here for a year and it has made me so much stronger. All the coaches have their own style — I’m still learning new moves 60 classes in, so this workout (often literally) keeps you on your toes! Love this place! Just sad that it took me so long to discover! The owner was very accommodating when I was recovering from a knee injury and needed to cancel class. I've taken a few classes with Sarah Rokhsar and I'd 10/10 recommend. The studio itself is beautiful and well kept, and Sarah's classes are amazing. I've always been a HIIT class type of person and was nervous to try something new, but I'm so glad I did. The instructor ensured that I was comfortable on the machine and gave form checks throughout class. The playlist was on point and Sarah's energy kept me motivated (even during the most difficult of movements). If you're on the fence, absolutely give Lagree a try! I can't wait to come back for the shakes!

I have fallen in love with LagreeNY and this community of instructors. I love the newly found stretch, strength and balance in my body. Prior to coming my left hip was much weaker and a little out of whack, but 2+ months in I feel and see major improvements! This method works deeply and the results are felt quite fast. Got rudely turned away at the door when I was less than 3 minutes late. Absolutely ridiculous. Got told that it says something about that on their website. 1 - I booked through ClassPass, it doesn’t say anything about that on ClassPass, I don’t care what your website says and there’s no reason why I should look at your website when I’m booking through ClassPass. 2 - there were no calls, no emails from this place either, so you’re just expected to read that lady’s mind about what’s right and wrong. Also had the audacity to charge me a $17 no show fee.

Nick the instructor was pretty rude to one of my friends that arrived 1 minute late while letting another student in after rudely denying her at the door. They claim it is their policy but yet only applies to some people. Seems discriminatory and unfair to me. Will not return. Owner keeps claiming this was because she was a new student yet allowed me to come as a new student with no "safety review" and I was not following the policy. If you are going to have a policy you should enforce it on everyone.

Lagree has become one of my favorite workouts ever because of this studio. Not only do I get an amazing workout and burn in , but I also have a lot of fun! The instructors are very clear with their instructions, knowledgeable, super kind and helpful.
I’ve been feeling stronger and stronger each time I go for a class! I never thought I’d be able to hold planks for so long and be able to do half of the things I can do now but because of Lagree I feel invincible.

LagreeNY has been the best fitness studio that I have ever been a part of. The Lagree workout method has positively changed the way I feel about fitness. I love using my own body weight and resistance from the megaformer machine to get lean with low impact, but high intensity exercises. With patience and consistency, everyone can be successful at Lagree! Besides the amazing machines, the trainers and community are my favorite. All staff members are so friendly and always greet you with a smile. It is not long before you become a regular and feel like a part of the LagreeNY family. I frequent my favorite trainers Laura, Brett, Eileen, and Laurie, whose classes are amazing as they provide motivation throughout the entire workout. This is in no way putting down the other trainers, as I can express with certainty that they are all equally amazing. I had to move from Astoria, but you best believe that I will make the trip back to get a class in whenever I can!

I started taking classes at LagreeNY about 6 months ago. I was intimidated at first being a bigger guy at a “boutique” fitness studio. My mind was quickly changed as Laurie and her team have created an inclusive and welcoming environment for people of all body types and fitness levels to come work hard and leave feeling empowered. Before Lagree, I had spent my time in the gym focusing on heavy lifting as I’d done for so long. This method works out your entire body and leaves you exhausted in 50 minutes time. This method works. Since I started I’ve lost 20-25 pounds and quite a few inches. I haven’t felt this good in a long time. I can’t say enough good things about this studio, the team, and the method.

Sooo happy that there is a megaformer workout in Astoria! The 45 minute sessions will have you soaked in sweat and your muscles will be trembling. You even feel the burn the day after! Lagree NY is hands-down the best Lagree and megaformer studio in the NYC area, and I've been to more than a few. Laurie and her team are phenomenal. The space is bright, super clean and airy, with terrific acoustics for class. All of the instructors are fantastic, most of whom come from dancing backgrounds. All of them are high-energy and bring a no-joke focus on form, fitness and just working through the burn – and they do it with encouragement and smiles. A little long-winded, but hang with me:
2017 was a challenging year for me in so many ways, but specifically my body was betraying me. Early in the year, I had a freak back injury after performing a play that took me 7 weeks in physical therapy to come back from...juuuuust in time for my knee to check me into another round of physical therapy right before performing another play. The only thing I could do was walk and watch calories and get through the physical therapy. It was awful. It was boring. As a life-long athlete, I genuinely wondered if I could go back to the work-out intensity I loved, the kind that left you in a sweaty, dripping puddle while also being mentally challenged.
Slowly, post-PT, I started with a pilates reformer. The structure of the machine was really helpful and...sorta challenging. But I was still looking for that burn. Then my friend told me about Lagree NY and took me to a class. Holy.Goodness. It blew my mind, my body, and both my back and my knee...felt protected. The megaformer does what the pilates reformer was doing - keeping me in form, so I couldn't hyper extend anything and my brain was stimulated while my body was yelling! It was awesome. I became instantly addicted. Started once a week, then twice, and I just finished my third week of three times a week (Laurie was right, 3 times a week is a HUGE difference!). Each class is different, the change in sequences keeps my brain stimulated, the slow, deliberate movement keeps my muscles active, engaged and my core has never been stronger. I know, you think: 45 minutes? That's all? Trust me, that's all you need.
I am so thankful I found, not only Lagree, but specifically, Lagree NY - Laurie, Andrea, Keisha (and one day, Eileen, I WILL wake up early and take your class!) have been such wonderful instructors. The people who come to classes are supportive and we're creating a lovely community. And if you hear someone yelling and hooting in class...it's probably me. If I can come back from a very broken 2017, you can absolutely do this!

Absolutely loved it. Andrea is a great instructor, every class is a different routine so it doesn't get old. Exercises were pretty difficult but fun.
