Lori was recommended to me by my physical therapist and I am so grateful! Lori is the best for anyone recovering from an injury, wanting to improve their fitness, or looking to begin a consistent workout routine. Each session is thoughtfully designed and we focus on more than just doing the exercises. Each appointment is centered around overall health and wellness with valuable discussions about other aspects of my health including diet/nutrition and mental health. Lori encourages her clients to listen to their bodies and will never push you in a way that makes you uncomfortable. She will listen to your goals and desires and help you live a better life by taking charge of your health and cultivating a mentality of always caring for your self fully. This is more than gym and you will not regret walking through their doors.

I've been working with Lori for a few years. First, as my CrossFit coach, and now, as my personal trainer. Lori has a special gift in making people feel comfortable, no matter their fitness level. She has always been skilled at making fitness accessible to everyone, while still making classes challenging. I started working with Lori 1:1 to increase my strength and build my confidence in lifting heavy weight, and I've seen noticeable improvements. Not every gym or coach will make you feel comfortable, but the intimate nature of L&S will give you the confidence to step into any class or personal training session and know that you can finish the workouts and grow as an athlete.

There is no better place in Rochester for fitness! The coaches and trainers are well-trained and sensitive to individual needs and goals with safety always at the top of the mind. You can get nutrition counseling, one-on-one and group training, humor, and a warm, welcoming, and encouraging environment to get and stay strong and fit. Custom-designed programs are excellent for all ages including seniors. And Cooper, the tiny gym dog, will melt your heart!

I have been working with Sean for about three years. I never thought that I would be one to join a gym or ever have a personal trainer. I am so thankful that I have and that Sean is the one I am working with. Sean has taken the time to get to know me. He does not just say this is what we we are doing and this is how we are doing it. Sean makes sure that every movement is achievable. He takes the time to model the movement and answer my questions. Sean also takes the time to check in with me on my nutrition and over all well being.
If you are not sure about what you want or are nervous about what you think you can’t do, don’t be. I would encourage you to take that next step and reach out to Sean. You won’t regret it.

Through fist pumps, encouraging words and even a few expletives (from me), Sean has shown me how far I can push myself outside my comfort zone. He has made me appreciate oxygen, water and my own mental grit more than I thought I ever would. Working with him on personal training and nutrition, not only have I made great strides physically but the mental and emotional benefit outshines what I can deadlift!
