Nice gym but member etiquette is seriously lacking and no accountability - clothing in the sauna/steam, members facetiming and blasting music in the locker room. It also seems they don’t maintain their equipment. Theres been a treadmill out of commission for over a month now. That wouldn’t fly at an Equinox. Also there are like 3 stalls for the size of the gym? Equinox had that many and was an eighth the size. They also should have face wash in the showers and squeegee more often as that floor is a walking lawsuit

Used to love going to this location but now is overly crowded in the morning and some people have no gym etiquette using towels to hold different machines at the same time. I’m a busy person that pays a premium in order to maximize my time at the gym. But is sad to see this type of people at lifetime and no one is around to even talk to at 6am and complain to. Instead this woman got into an argument with me when I asked her to use a machine that she was not using and holding with a towel. While she was using other 3 different ones. Maybe there should be signs around the weight section explaining gym etiquette.

The from desk worker Carolina was such a rude and nasty women. I've been coming here for months and have never seen her here. first time I see her she wants to take her job way to seriously and have people stalk me through the entire gym for no reason at all. Maybe if she stopped being a witch and causing problems for no reason this gym would have better ratings. 0/10 don't recommend. Dont go here if you don't want to be profiled, stalked and spoken to so rude and disrespectfully for NO reason.

Lifetime Fitness is an outstanding establishment — a great place for anyone looking to start or continue their fitness journey. Christian Naccari stands out in particular for his well-rounded understanding of training. Beyond his knowledge and expertise, Christian truly cares about his clients—not just in their physical development, but in their overall well-being and life outside the gym.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lifetime Fitness – Harrison, NY

From the moment you walk in the doors, you can feel the energy and professionalism that sets Lifetime Harrison apart. The front desk staff always greets you with genuine smiles and makes you feel welcome every time. The facility is spotless, organized, and run with such attention to detail.

A special shout-out to Brandon, the manager — his leadership really shows. He’s always around, approachable, and ensures that everything runs smoothly while keeping a great atmosphere for both members and staff. You can tell he truly cares about people and takes pride in what he does.

Whether you’re training, swimming, relaxing, or grabbing a healthy bite at the café, the entire team makes it a first-class experience. Lifetime Harrison is more than a gym — it’s a community that keeps you motivated and coming back every day.

I have been a client of the LifeTime Westchester Spa for many years. I cannot say enough about how much I have enjoyed the relationship. Tania is not just a great massage therapist—she is #1 in all of LifeTime ! When she has an opening, I recommend that you drop everything and secure that reservation—you won’t be sorry. And I would be remiss if I did not add what a pleasure it is to deal with Melissa, the manager. She will make sure that you have an outstanding experience at the Spa. I am already looking forward to my next appointment!

If I could give it zero stars, I would
And this is strictly for Pickleball only
I played a tournament there last night and here’s what went wrong:
The original time was 4 PM , then they changed it to 6 PM and I had plans that night so I had to cancel them , then at the last minute they changed to 5:30 PM Via email, not even a text message
Got there on time and stood around for 45 minutes while others finished their play At different levels. No courts available to warm up
Finally was rushed onto the court with no warm-up and the first game started
Never played in a tournament with no warm-up ,,,,that’s preposterous.
On top of that, the lighting in this place is horrific
I felt like a different player. I couldn’t see the ball until it was right in front of my face could not pick it up from a distance And my vision is fine.
The Absolute worst experience I ever had in a pickleball tournament from a vision standpoint
And they ran the tournament like amateurs changing times rushing us on the court. With no chance to warm up and get readyThey had no idea what they were doing. It was all about packing in the numbers for their own pocket and making the inconvenience for everybody
If you gave me $1000 to play there, I would decline
If you are a serious Pickleball player stay away from this place
It is nothing but a torturous experience
And amateur at best

I’m deeply disappointed with this fitness club’s recent decision to no longer participate in United Healthcare’s Renew Active program. For a club that prides itself on exclusivity and prestige, this decision feels like a disservice—especially here in Westchester County, where the majority of residents are mature adults who have worked hard all their lives and deserve opportunities to stay healthy and active.

Removing access to this program doesn’t just seem short-sighted; it feels like greed taking precedence over community well-being. By excluding seniors from affordable fitness options, the club is suppressing the very demographic that could benefit the most. My own mother-in-law would likely not be facing her current health struggles if she had been able to join here after her retirement—something I once recommended to her in good faith.

For a county built by decades of dedicated workers, this decision is a slap in the face. Health and longevity should never be treated as luxuries reserved only for those who can afford them. Shame on you for turning away from the very people who need this most.

I feel for the cleaning staff here. This is a high volume club and the 2 women who are the cleaners are assigned more than humanely possible.

Cleaning between classes in the studios is sub par with mounds of dirt and hair on the floor. As a member of a “luxury club” experience I am cleaning my own equipment and mats.

The Women’s locker room is truly run down. The lighted magnifying mirrors at the niches are missing as are the amenities of hair dryers, soap, deodorant, etc. Everyone must share from 2 stations (many don’t like to share at this club)-really not the luxury experience from even 3 years ago. Locks are constantly breaking and not being fixed.

The previous general manager made everything a profit center and did not respond to members’ concerns. New guy come on and do better!

Nice gym. Excellent tennis and pickleball courts. Solid selection of treadmills, weight machines, and free weights. Locker rooms are clean, staff is nice, and they have some nice amenities like hydro massage chairs, a food court, and chiropractors and masseuses, among other things. It's currently $279 per month though, which is quite expensive. Of course, the more you use the facilities, the more you get your money's worth. Plus, there aren't many other gyms available in white plains. You can also pause your membership for $15 per month, which is nice. Note that the gym is absolutely packed with ppl in the winter, and much less so in the summer.

Update: Oh god.. they just ripped up beautiful hardwood floor in the yoga room and replaced it with cheap bumpy vinyl flooring that doesn’t even match the walls. Comes with a “$5mill renovation”

This gym is quickly declining and becoming that of a planet fitness… it takes 20+ mins to find a parking spot. You then have to wait even longer for equipment to become available because it’s so crowded and there is mainly one of everything. So embarrassing, I know. What’s also embarrassing is the staff roaming around on their phones and lounging on member couches with their feet up while using their phones. Especially this one tall skinny male cleaning staff with tattoos and braids- I’ve never seen him actually work, only walk around on his phone. Join this gym if you want to pay $300 for an overcrowded planet fitness.

Zero stars if I could. I've had a fair share of high-end luxury and will remain with confidentiality in this due to how severe the conditions are.

Last night I'm showering and their are young woman screaming… it startled me. Then they were laughing. I popped my head out its staff and women I'm assuming that are off work but hanging out with them? Very unprofessional!

Where do I begin? Don't waste your money. You don't get what you pay for, maybe a hospital bill for a fungal infection. Unless you want to pay a fortune that they mislead on many different aspects of the gym. First of all, the staff (female locker rooms) are always gossiping about one another, and I'm a regular. I do regret returning back here after some time because nothing has changed. For women like myself, I enjoy the women's sauna over the coed one by the indoor pool. However for the money I work so hard to keep up with this membership, the sauna is always “out of service” and when it is, it is always filthy, including the steam room. The showers are a walking biohazard and I've nearly stepped on blades and cut myself from a used razor. How about sharps containers in the shower? Also, I don't appreciate the sign of no pictures or recording in the locker room when a woman took a selfie and then proceeded to take more even after seeing I was in a towel about to change. She then “sighed” in frustration because I ruined her selfie because I was trying to change in the background. A worker witnessed this. Not surprised they didn't remind her of the policy or to look to the sign that is to the right. I only come here daily because of the price of this place but its honestly not worth it if you're deciding to join a “waitlist.” they are not high-end or luxury as they advertise.

Also, black mold all over the place. Nothing is properly cleaned. I've walked away with rashes from trying to clean myself after a workout. Never towels but you'll ALWAYS FIND staff gossiping not doing their jobs and talking about other staff and male co-workers.

You're better off going to another establishment.

The pools and outdoor amenities are off -limits unless you pay an additional $350 fee! So basically rent at this point.

Not worth the money, and you are most certainly not getting what you pay for. I will be taking my hard working money else where to actually “Love” MY life as they put.

No contrast therapy as they advertise. No cold plunge, no working sauna. Risk for potential cut from someones used razor and potential bloodborne pathogens, gossiping staff, black mold everywhere. Ask for a tour, and take a look for yourself. We pay a fortune in taxes and work hard for subpar experiences? Also, family rooms are rarely used when children are running all over the place and women are stealing items left and right. I can't speak for the men though.

Thanks Lifetime Harrison you guys are false advertising and you don't care about the safety of your members including the kids attending camp! Even contacting risk management and their manager or CEO is a challenge.

Amazing!

Best pool I've ever been to! I love the pool, the hot tub, the weights, the massage chairs, the food, etc.

They also have PTs and chiropractors. There is also a salon, spa, and kids' program.

I love the spacious indoor area, as well as the vast outdoor space.

I lost $400 dollars, my jacket, my pants, my headphones and my shirt. I locked my locker and I forgot my number, people who worked there helped to check some lockers, we could find anything. Talked with the front desk and told me they will check all the lockers. They didn’t find anything. Now I can’t leave anything in there. Bad bad service. Do not let your stuff in the lockers they can steal your stuff.

Absolutely not worth it for a young person/couple without children. We received an email in April stating that as “loyal members” (over 5 years) we would not have to pay an additional fee for the summer. Less than 1 month later we received another email raising our fee by $80 per month and reason was to “upgrade” the club. I have not seen any upgrades as in recent months there is no parking, you have to wait for treadmills and showers, the hot tubs are closed half the time and dirty the other half of the time, and the staff are nasty when you voice your concerns. There are male children in the female locker room and after speaking to staff it multiple times and getting nothing, a staff member told me that the signs stating male children should not be in the female locker room are outdated. There are also screaming children in the adult locker rooms even though there is a family locker room and in also the hot tubs that say ages 12 and up. Staff turns a blind eye to it and does nothing by to address any of these issues. If you want a calm and private “luxury fitness center” and do not want to wait in line for equipment and a shower, and are not looking for the ambiance of an elementary school recess yard, I suggest you find another club.

FRONT DESK IS THE WORST! WHO ARE THESE NEW HIRES?
I’ve been a loyal member at Lifetime Westchester for some time now, and I’ve noticed a concerning decline in the quality of service at the front desk. There are three individuals in particular—two of whom were working today(April 10th)—whose demeanor consistently lacks the professionalism and warmth expected at a premium facility.

One is a woman with long red hair, and the other is a newer male staff member with a tan complexion and crew cut hair. Despite multiple visits, neither has ever greeted me or acknowledged my presence with a smile or a simple “hello,” even when I’ve initiated a greeting. They often appear preoccupied with their phones, which creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. An older blonde woman at the front desk exhibits a similar lack of courtesy.

As a business owner myself, I understand how critical front-facing staff are to creating a positive first impression. At nearly $400 a month, members deserve to be welcomed with professionalism and basic courtesy. I still remember when Adam and Nicole were at the front desk—they were friendly, attentive, and set a much higher standard for member experience.

It’s disappointing to see the overall member experience at Lifetime Westchester diminish, especially as the club grows in popularity. I hope to see a renewed focus on service and hospitality soon.

The absolute worst yoga classes I have ever been to. It’s really stretching to horrible music in a heated room. Totally unprofessional instructors. I love my yoga and they don’t have real yoga classes here. Absolute trash. On the upside, my daughter really enjoys the swimming lessons and I can work out for 25 minutes while she’s in them. I like that they have a children’s center with activities, but when my daughter was rock climbing for the first time, the instructors were texting on their phone the whole time! Also, they don’t have fresh pressed juice which I feel is a total miss for a gym. I would love to be able to work out and then get a fresh juice with a wheatgrass or ginger shot after! Lastly, good luck with parking. They should have a staff section for parking. So much potential here if they tightened up!!! Which they should definitely be able to do considering the membership price!!! Yoga classes are so bad it’s sad!!!

I have been a member for years at Lifetime since it first opened. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership as the gym changed completely. At this location they used to be very clean, now it isn’t clean as before, steam room smells , floors are dirty. Sauna has stains, floors in the locker room are disgusting you can’t even walk without shoes because you’ll literally have hair all over your feet from the floors. I had to cancel my membership for several reasons but mostly I am very unsatisfied with the service this gym provides and they have raised the price for $300 per person. When you try to cancel for many dissatisfied reasons and you explain the current situation your in as well on why you need to cancel they only care about the 30 day policy and will not allow you to cancel, they will charge you regardless. I contacted the gym and stated I can no longer afford the gym and how dissatisfied I am and Nicole at the concierge before stated they could override the 30 day policy as complementary if I put my account on hold for the time being ( then) however now I have decided to completely cancel and Nicole is no longer going with her word in overriding the 30 day policy since I decided to cancel. This gym is money hungry and filthy. Unfortunately it is not the same anymore. I do not recommend.

We made it through a full year of membership. Its particularly well aligned to families. My 3 year old daughter learned to swim at the classes. The Mrs. and I enjoy the gym, pool, sauna Sundays reset in the Winters as well as the outdoor pool all Summer. The occasional Friday/Saturday "parents night out" basically cover's our daughter's membership. I wasn't really bought into the concept of a "country club minus golf" but I just checked and we were there 120 days in 2024!!!! I also drop into the location at Penn Station occasionally and it has a totally different vibe (like they know they compete with Equinox). There is certainly a demographic trend difference based on location.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my experience at LifeTime located at 1 Westchester Park Dr in West Harrison when dropping off my child for tennis training. While I understand the importance of safety and liability protocols, the process of ID checks at the front desk is inconsistent and unnecessarily burdensome.

On multiple occasions, I have been allowed to proceed without an ID check, while at other times, the front desk insists on verifying my ID. Today, I was told that the reason for checking my ID was “because your child is a minor, and it’s a liability thing.” This reasoning does not seem entirely logical, as there is no clear explanation of how my ID relates to liability for dropping off a child for scheduled activity.

More concerningly, during today’s interaction, the front desk staff addressed me in a way that implied I was my child’s nanny. I found this assumption both insulting and discriminatory. It further highlights a lack of proper employee training in customer service, professionalism, and sensitivity to diversity.

I urge LifeTime to implement consistent policies for ID checks and ensure employees are well-trained to communicate these policies respectfully and uniformly to all members. Clearer protocols and improved training will help avoid confusion and ensure every customer feels valued, respected, and free from discriminatory assumptions.

Forgot to mention, in addition to the experience I had, I must question why Life Time - a facility dedicated to promoting fitness, healthy eating, and overall wellness - offers PACKED MICROWAVEABLE MAC & CHEESE to CHILDREN!! Selling such an option, particularly at $8 US dollars, seems at odds with the gym's mission to encourage healthy lifestyles.
This discrepancy raises legitimate concerns about the alignment between the food offerings and Life Time's stated commitment to health and wellness. If the focus is truly on fostering a healthier community, the available food options should reflect those values. otherwise, it creates the impression that these unhealthy, addictive choices are being offered to undermine members' progress, ensuring they remain dependent on gym services rather than achieving their fitness goals.

decided to end my membership after a couple of years at this location. I wish lifetime the best but I see this location is more concentrated on family specially those with kids even the morning classes are more for moms. No pilates or barre classes offered in the afternoon or night. The sauna is too small women are laying on the floor and it never gets heated due to the constant opening and closing of the door. The studio classes are always filled only one studio for all the classes that can only hold 25 people (there’s another studio upstairs for Zumba classes). This gym has potential but the amenities are too small compared to to the numbers of the members it currently holds, the parking lot is full capacity the best time to go is at night b if as a women I don’t feel safe driving at night besides no classes are offered at night time.

The gym is Hugh. I am on the fence if it’s for me. Disappointed with the yoga classes. They are like yoga on steroids. Some of the classes it’s like adding every yoga pose for thousands of years into 1 hour. The Root yoga is only given at off times. Sat is filled with kids classes all day. The gym equipment is great but I wish there were attendants on the floor if I need assistances how to use them . I’m not even sure they wash the mats. You would think paying almost $300/mo they would wash them. Again, there is no one on the floor to assist when I’m there and the guest services is downstairs and too far if you have a question. I cannot figure out the Pilates classes or the only ones available you have to pay extra for. They are prob infrequent . People work during the day. Please provide better classes before work and on Sat/Sun.

We recently joined LifeTime at Harrison as a family of four, and after a week of exploring its offerings, we are thrilled with our experience.

Updated:
-Kid Swim Lesson
My daughter, currently at the 501 level, has been searching for someone who can help refine her swimming strokes. Katrina was exactly what we needed! She worked with my daughter to improve her technique, focusing on body alignment to enhance her swimming efficiency. Katrina's methods were clear, effective, and made a noticeable difference. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to fine-tune their skills!

-Outdoor Pool and Slides
The outdoor swimming pool is fantastic, complete with exciting slides that our kids can't get enough of. It's a perfect spot for family fun and relaxation.

-Indoor Lap Pool
The indoor lap pool is ideal for those looking to swim year-round. It's clean, well-maintained, and provides a great environment for both casual swimmers and serious athletes. We've also signed our kids up for a series of four swim lessons in the indoor pool area as complimentary. Additionally, it's worth noting that swim caps are not required in the indoor pool, making it more convenient for everyone.

However, one downside is that the chlorine in the family pool can be quite strong, which might be a concern for those sensitive to it.

-Rock Climbing
The rock climbing area is a big hit with our kids. Special thanks to Tim and Joseph, who were both amazing. Tim was especially encouraging to our son, helping him achieve his goals and boosting his confidence. Thank you, Tim!! Our daughter, who has rock climbing before, also enjoyed the challenge and had an amazing time.

-Squash
We tried squash for the first time, and it was a blast. The gym offers racket rentals, making it easy to try out new activities. Our boy particularly enjoyed this new sport.

-Parking
Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours. While I usually find a spot without much trouble, there are times when I've had to circle a couple of times to find one. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience is still highly positive.

-Overall Experience
We aren't typically gym-goers, but LifeTime at Harrison is changing that. It's a wonderful addition to our family's routine, providing a range of activities that cater to all our interests. From fitness classes to recreational activities, there's something for everyone.

We're excited to continue exploring all that LifeTime has to offer and highly recommend it to other families looking for a place to spend quality time together while staying active and healthy.

Do not sign up for Pilates class! I had a trial class last November and enrolled afterwards. After the first class, the teacher canceled all my other appointments without informing me. I found out by myself the night before my 2nd class! Haven’t seen any other gym treating members like this.

Besides, they keep charging me monthly fees after I canceled my 1st class. I’ve called the club multiple times and still haven’t got refund. I was told that somehow I got charged twice the monthly fee starting from this month! I have wasted so much time on this billing issue. I’m so disappointed about the way they handle this. Now, after months of my first trial class, I am still waiting for my refunds and sending emails to follow up on the billing issue. I’m posting my experience so that others can avoid.

Parking lot is ridiculously oversized. You need to give yourself 5 minutes to walk to the entrance. It’s worse when you are bringing children. I don’t know what they were thinking but searching for parking and finding yourself in a different zip code puts you in a foul mood. They don’t care, paying memberships are all that matters. Imagine how much worse it’s going to be when those condos adjacent to the gym are finished and occupied

Please do not try to mislead any customer!!!
Lifetime was intentionally misleading me and silently charging me the membership fee. At the beginning, when I said I just wanna purchase the membership for one month, they did not mention that I need to cancel 30 days before I can end the membership, and I was only told "we only charge per month, very flexible." With that, they have been silently charing me for two months (no email, text, or anything as receipt or notification), until I accidentally found it when I was reviewing my credit card transaction. I called the customer service to try to resolve this issue and their response was very disappointing. I feel this is intentional cheating, and I would like to give 0 or negative start if I could.

I love life time;
It’s hours are great, their trainers are amazing, & their facility is just as amazing…
I love their GTX classes and the amount of classes they offer makes the price worth it; if you don’t use the classes much it’s still worth it if you go during non peak hours. Their guest passes are a bit strict, however it makes sense since they have a lot of members.
I have a shake every morning (almond butter is my favorite).

I didn’t want to write this review, but I feel compelled to. I’ve never had this problem at other gyms. However, many of the over 65 male members here have zero care or self awareness when it comes to nudity in the locker rooms. We all have to change, but it’s not uncommon to see someone entirely naked begin using the sink next to you while you’re blow drying your hair in front of a mirror. The other day for no good reason one threw his leg atop the sink counter with his genitalia on full display. I witnessed another older man practically dancing around exposing himself for over several minutes. Paying $379 a month and having this as part of the “gym experience” is becoming annoying. It’s disturbing because this gym has several children’s activities. I wouldn’t want my child being exposed to this. (I will remove this review if there is any solution put forth)

I been coming here for a while and I absolutely love the gym..
I have had some injuries from a car accident and was constantly on pain which it makes it hard to workout or do anything.. I started to see a corrective exercise trainer here , he’s name is KAREEM! I can’t say enough good words about him! First he’s very friendly and makes you feel so comfortable, second he’s so acknowledgeable about everything, he can literally tell you everything that is going on in your body, always I feel great and pain free after I see him!
He’s also an amazing trainer for overall strength and great nutritionist!
I highly highly recommend KAREEM!

They’ve got it all- several pickleball and tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, sauna, steam room, showers, towels and lockers, grooming products, studios, squash, all gym equipment including multiple Jacobs ladders, cafe, salon, some sitting areas, childcare, rock climbing, indoor and outdoor pool.

If you’re a weekend morning workout fan or adamant about Monday after work workouts- probably not the place for you as it’s a zoo.

The cons? Cafe is too expensive for what it is. Smoothies shouldn’t be 11 dollars. Lots of entitled teenagers which is to be expected I suppose, workout machines could be better, they lock up jump ropes for class use, they don’t have the gorgeous work spaces like newer lifetimes, and it’s pretty much always crowded but very manageable on the off hours. No Pelotons but I guess that makes sense for their brand. Just a big drop off in the biking experience unfortunately.

Long story short, if you want to stay active in sports and have flexibility in how you can structure your days- a great place to go.
If you can’t- then it’s probably not for you.

Membership department is a joke. Awful customer service, inflexible accommodations and poor communication.

After being a member for 1.5+ years and taking a short break, I called today to inquire about restarting my membership.

What I received was a promise from a membership rep on the phone that he’s “the nicest employee in the department” and that other membership employees “will be even more rude” when asked about finding an alternate time to take a tour that accommodates my schedule.

Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere… it’s clearly not valued at Lifetime Westchester.

Been a member here since 2017 and despite the huge price increases over the years, I still find Lifetime to be the best gyms for me. I alternate between here and Chappaqua and either are only a 15 minute drive tops for me. The facility has everything I need for strength/cardio and I really enjoy the early/late hours of operation. Yes it is one of the most expensive gym memberships you can find, but as long as you come frequently you'll get your money's worth. I am here 20-25 times per month and even more frequently now that the outdoor pool is open for summer.
Also for $40, you can purchase an otterbox tumbler which comes with unlimited refills of ice tea and cold brew. Definitely offsets the membership cost!

Thought I would update this with good news but unfortunately nothing has changed ..This gym is mediocre at best. Alot of very old and broken strength and cardio equipment. The new Techno gym treadmills they put in not long ago are broken 75% of the time .This place is in need of a serious update fast; on top of the fact they just raised the prices . But rest assured if pickleball is you jam you wil be all set .

This location used to be the best in Westchester. However, since they started offering Gym Pass and AARP/UnitedHealthCare memberships at only $99, it has become overcrowded with individuals who tend to be overly assertive or demanding, often referred to as 'Karen and Kens.' Finding a parking spot for your kids' swim lesson has become a real challenge. It's frustrating to pay $250 while someone next to you pays just $99. As a long-time member, I am now considering other locations that offer a similar upscale experience. It’s not luxury when you sell it at a discount. Just a upscale NYSC

I have heard folks rave about Lifetime for years. Today, I decided to visit the club having moved to Westchester some months ago. The place is vast and has superior equipment, tennis courts, climbing walls, and pools inside and out. Everything here is spotless and organized. The managers truly understand the word differentiation. Love the club and can’t wait to work out!

Update: Cannot believe it’s been seven months already. Still love Lifetime, and it really has the greatest facilities around. You get what you pay for here, and I give it a 10 out of 10. My only issue is the parking.

05/05/21: First day back in the gym today in over a year and am so happy. The club have done an exceptional job making sure everything is as safe and clean as it can be. All my fellow members were respectful and sanitize equipment as soon as they finished.

11/09/21: To the Senior General Manager Susan Mistir, who moves on to a new challenge, my sincere thanks for the excellent work you have done here in West Harrison.

We will miss you!

Update: So my love affair with lifetime came to an end on the 20th of June. Becoming frustrated having to ask fellow members on cell phones or watching videos if you can use a piece of equipment becomes boring in the end. The management promise to always limit the number of new members also seemed to go out the window as the place was packed every time I went. It’s a wonderful facility, but I want to go to a gym to workout……not to stand next to a machine becoming more irritated waiting for someone to finish a txt.

Today was my breaking point.. i came to this location from NYSC and have been a member since they opened and I simply CANT stand by this location anymore, they used to have one of the largest weight rooms of all the gyms in the area but now they continue to cater to group classes and thus now block off 12 squat racks during peak hours for “group classes” and they have a massive speaker blasting music over the already loud normal music overhead and they cut the cardio section down for more GROUP classes and they have their own speaker blasting their own music.. and all because of them tailoring to these groups classes (they have numerous group studios but they need more room I guess) and now they don’t have enough equipment for everyone else it’s PURE CHAOS trying to find a damn bench press let alone free weight bench. Also I’ve been to a lot of diamond clubs and their saunas and steams rooms are next level and then this location is SUBPAR at best horrible compared to other locations and their lightening is so bad not relaxing st all too bright and the steam never stays on it’s becoming quite dirty as of late .. bottom line TOO MANY PEOPLE.. it’s a zoo almost anytime I come and for 250 it’s ludicrous. I know me canceling won’t change anything but it’s out of control Time to look at other gyms that have opened up.

Love this gym , was a member for a year when I lived in westchester then I moved to danbury and had another baby so I canceled , tried out another gym near me with childcare and it wasn’t the same at all , I figured to rejoin since the chap location is closer and I don’t regret rejoining , the staffed remembered my oldest son and was excited to meet my new son , it’s a pricey gym but the childcare is amazing and all the different class options and times they have , I just have to say saturday mornings around 9-10am it’s very hard to find a spot so I try to get there 15-20 mins before my class starts !

I babysit a member of the club and leave her to go swimming. I checked her in last time with no problem and received wonderful customer service by a male employee. Today I came in and a woman with silver hair completely ignores me and says to the child she can’t be here without her mom, when I am clearly her guardian. She THEN looks at me and says and who are you? And I said her babysitter?! She then proceeds to say there’s no picture of the child in the system, as if she’s not who she says she is, and the child explains that every time they ask for a picture the camera isn’t working. I mean seriously??? she is arguing with a child. Horrible service at the front with this women, it’s like she was on some power trip… just so weird.
