I have known Matt Tauber for 20 years. Each of my children (5) have worked with Matt to improve their athletic performance and to build lifelong fitness habits.
I personally began training with Matt over a year ago. I am a 60+ year old man and at the time not in great shape. My results with Matt have been nothing less than dramatic. My strength, flexibility, balance, conditioning and physical health have all improved tremendously to the amazement of my friends and physicians.
I begin at LIFT with a simple program to get back in shape two days a week and saw steady gains and increased my frequency to 4x per week. Once I got to a level where I was able to complete some good workouts Matt outlined a basic nutrition plan for me. Under his guidance I have lost about 20% of body weight, reduced my medications, and am making fitness achievements I thought impossible just a short time ago.
In the course of my training it became apparent that I would need two shoulder surgeries. Matt found me the right surgeon, set up physical therapy through his network that I was able to do onsite at his lift location, and set up adjusted workout regimens that allowed me to keep moving and working out through my recovery period. I am now fully healed and participating in life to the fullest. All of these things, fitness, weight loss, surgery and recovery took place in the span of about 14 months and would not have happened without the guidance and advice I received at LIFT.
I can not think of a better coach, mentor and health resource than Matt and his team at LIFT. Matt has deep knowledge which he employed to customize a plan based on my needs and physical challenges. I would recommend LIFT without reservation to any individual and family looking to improved their fitness, athletic ability to and create a lifetime plan to stay in the best possible physical condition.

Being a member of the LIFT family and working with Matt and his team over the last 10 years has truly been a life changing experience. They are incredibly dedicated to everyone that walks in those doors. The training is tailored for every single person, and they will always bring out the best in you. One of my favorite things about LIFT is how they treat you like family. They’re amazing people that care about you as an individual over anything athletic related. the professionalism of the LIFT team has always been far above the rest, when you have a trainer who is so knowledgeable on all the important topics about your health, your safety in working out, and knowing how to direct your program so that your long term results are amazing, you don't let them go. I have been working out at LIFT for over 10 years - not ONE workout related injury, and when I do have an injury from other activities, Matt and his team know how to keep me moving while the affected areas are healing so you don't have to miss a beat. Crossfit ends up putting you in rehab, LIFT ends up putting you on the path to staying on the field, the golf course, the hockey rink, whatever it is you like to do. Knowing I'm being watched over means the world to me, and working out safely and effectively has been great for my life and my overall health. LIFT is second to none.

I've been training with LIFT for 20+ years. That probably is the strongest endorsement I could give. But, to be completely clear, their trainers are the best. I have been in various levels of fitness and weight during those years and no matter where I was, the LIFT trainers would get me/keep me motivated, focus on the types of fitness I needed and kept me coming back. I can't say enough good things about them.

I first went to Matt Tauber at LIFT after major orthopedic surgery. He has a great reputation for helping rehabilitate athletes ranging from high school to well known professional athletes to get them back into top shape after surgery. My training with Matt started where my PT left off. I was so impressed with the professionalism and treatment that i stayed on for weekly athletic training sessions. I have now been going there for over 5 years and it’s been great.
