Loco | Motion New York is a community based movement practice. We do not approach our practice with a ‘one size fits all’ standard. Each student receives individualized work and instruction based on their current ability to perform the tasks given.
Through a movement practice we develop the body and mind using tools within many disciplines. We are focused on general development of the person and the group.
Our classes are ALL LEVELS.

Hello there!
My experience at Loco Motion has been life-changing to say the least; I am practically always counting down the hours until the next class. I've played sports competitively for my entire life and have found success in each of them, but one or more things were missing that I couldn't quite put my finger on. That all changed 2 months ago when I began practicing Movement at Loco Motion.
From day 1, I was met with a supportive community that immediately took genuine care in my development, not only as an athlete but as a person. Just as every human is unique, so too is their corresponding program to address their specific goals as well as strengths and weaknesses. Kevin and the team execute consistently and with encouragement. Every day is new and exciting, building upon what we worked on previously while incorporating fresh stimuli to keep training fun yet challenging. That balance is extremely important for sustaining the progress that we make over the long run.
To grow alongside a tribe of people with no particular label has been inspiring. People from all different necks of the woods and experience levels come out and Move together. The process and ensuing results are creative expressions that must be experienced firsthand, a true testament to human capability that the world is just beginning to understand.
Truth is what we find in our Movement when we explore the patterns in depth. That translates to everything we do in our lives: posture begins to improve, nagging aches begin to fade away, and new vitality courses through your veins. I encourage anyone considering a new practice, cross-training for an existing practice, or looking for a place to play and have fun while exercising to give Loco Motion a try!

I was curious when my Capoeira buddy told me about Locomotion since I was heavily invested in another system I gave it a try and was completely relieved to discover that there is someone that is dedicated to total body movement in a non rigid system. Kevin and his crew continually create a truly personalized regime to meet my goals and requirements, always asking for feedback and updates on how they are meeting my needs. Best of all, they are in sync with my needs, limitations and expectations; they even stay in touch when I'm traveling with videos and suggestions of what simple things I can do to maintain my progress. I love this gym. It’s just different — different thinkers, different ways of moving. Training with Kevin and the team is always tough, intentional, and honestly what I’ve been looking for. The focus on hanging and upper back strength is a big shift from how I used to train, and it’s been so rewarding. I wasn’t feeling mentally challenged with the typical gym formula or movement styles, but this place keeps me engaged. The community and vibe are awesome. Highly recommend

At 63, my goal was to improve overall fitness while increasing flexibility, mobility, and strength. In 6 months, thanks to Locomotions' individualized programming and unique techniques, I’ve made great progress in all areas.
The warm-up drills are fun and different and focus on balance and flexibility in ways that are effective and engaging. The workouts add in strength training and are also quite innovative which has helped keep me motivated in ways that other gyms and programs I’ve tried over the years never did. Another reason I love Locomotion is the people. Kevin and his staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping people meet (exceed) their expectations. I’ve worked with Kevin, Matt and GiGi and they’re all great!
I’ve had knee and shoulder injuries that required careful attention and previous PT, but Kevin seamlessly tailored my strength training to accommodate them. The result? Both have improved beyond what physical therapy ever achieved! Kind of an amazing and unexpected result to be honest.
One of the biggest wins for me has been my bone health. After being diagnosed with osteopenia a few years ago, I just had a new scan that showed bone growth! If this progress continues, I could be outside the osteopenia range by my next scan. That alone is enough to keep me coming back to Locomotion.
If you’re looking for a place to workout that delivers real results in a supportive (but challenging) and inspiring environment, do yourself a favor and give Locomotion New York a try!

I've been attending since August 2024. I have been a practitioner of yoga for 30 years, and I must say I've never come across any other discipline that has resolved the pain in my body. Movement is the focus, and the drills are so dynamic and always changing. I highly recommend coming and seeing for yourself !

I've been doing a weekly group movement class and one-to-one training with Kevin at Loco Motion NY for the past few months and loving it! It's so different than any other workout/program I have done. I am using (and learning about) my body in such unique ways, building foundational strength, flexibility and mobility. The work challenges both my mind and body, and is taught at a manageble pace via sequential movements. Loco Motion NY is a safe space/community to explore and grow, and I really enjoy and appreciate Kevin's teaching methods. He incorporates an excellent mix of challenging movements that push students' physical edges and mental barriers, while also exhibiting the utmost in patience, humility and support.

I've been training here for two years, and it's truly changed my life. After 15+ years of sedentary remote work and painful arthritis, I never imagined I'd be squatting, hanging from bars, or crawling across the room! The gym uses a unique movement-focused approach (no intimidating machines!), emphasizing calisthenics, variety, and fun. I'm stronger, pain-free, and excited to ski again. It's so welcoming—my kids even train alongside me, and my sister loved it too. Plus, I've found wonderful friends who hike and socialize together outside the gym. I have been going to locomotion for almost 3 months now and me and my body are loving it! We need more people like Kevin! Passionate, dedicated humble and extremely intelligent person! Joining Loco Motion has been a life changing experience! 90% of muscle and joint complaints have slowly faded just after 12 sessions, definitely different than typical gym routine why loco motion is worth every penny! Affordable and class schedules are convenient. Private sessions are the way to go but if you enjoy group sessions that’s a whole different experience in itself. I decided to try Loco Motion as I recently had a baby, wanted to have more energy, feel healthier and fitter. And - I felt like I needed an outside motivator to keep me committed to a lifestyle change. I didn't know what to expect from Loco Motion as it doesn't seem like a traditional gym which was refreshing but also made me (just) slightly hesitant.
From the first get to know you session I felt very comfortable with Kevin and at Loco Motion. I felt comfortable giving up full control to the trainers (I've worked with Kevin and Matt) to guide me on what's best for me and my body, as they are clearly very knowledgeable. Sometimes I feel bad that I don't ask more questions regarding why they do something, just so I can learn a little, bc it's quite clear that there's a strong foundation in theory and practice. I also like that they incorporate games into some of the training sessions to keep the energy light while still challenging you physically.
In the couple of months I've been going I have noticed a marked difference in my energy levels, strength and how clothes fit. This is in large part due to training at Loco Motion which has had a ripple effect on how I approach daily activities to ensure I continue to move.
I can't say enough good things about Loco Motion and am happy I made the decision to begin training with them.

I stumbled upon Loco Motion through instagram when I was looking to take a new approach to my health and fitness, because I couldn’t stand the monotony of my old gym routine and I am so glad that I decided to give it a try. Just a few months in to my practice here and I’m feeling stronger and healthier with less back pain than I’ve had in a very long time. In the beginning, I was nervous about not being strong enough for some of the movements I was seeing others do, but i had nothing to worry about because all of the movements are scalable and the staff will work with you to find what version is best for where you are currently and help develop the strength and skills to progress over time. Every class is different and offers fun and challenging ways to move and strengthen both my body and my mind. Working out is no longer a chore but something I look forward to doing because of the classes and community here.

If I can rate locomotion with more than 5 stars I would. I was an active person. I ran marathons , I am a CrossFit-ter, I love working out … until everything was put into hiatus Bec of back injury where I could barely stay standing for long hours to having trouble sleeping in my back Bec of back pain. The pain was intolerable to the point where i was scared of moving again. Kevin helped me get the fear out of moving. He cares about people, he has the knowledge. Incredible results from amazing coaches. When I first started I lacked the skills to properly climb a rope or perform a handstand. After training with Kevin and his team, I can now confidently do both. Unlike my experiences in other gyms, where I felt embarrassed and awkward while learning new skills, Loco Motion offers an incredibly non-judgmental, caring, and accepting environment. Kevin's way of training+ teaching is next level. I have spent far too many years in various gyms always striving for some sort of perfect that doesn't exist. Kevin has helped me realize that perfect is the enemy of good- and forward progress is better than the outcome. His approach is kind, warm, fun, and always with the goal of maximizing your own potential.
I feel strong, vibrant, healthy, and have a positive relationship with movement and my body for the first time in a while! If you are looking to get fit (mentally and physically) and step outside your comfort zone- I can't recommend Kevin's workouts enough. You won't regret it.

I decided to try locomotion after having knee pain from running long distance. After 4 months I was able to run 10k without knee pain.
I have been trying different types of gyms/group classes, couldn’t stay longer than 6 months. It got boring. Loco motion’s every class is different so it’s impossible to get bored. They are completely unique, as are the classes and the students who fill the room. It never feels like a workout to me, it’s feeling of discovering my body and having fun.

If you're feeling hesitant about joining because you're unsure what to expect, take the leap! I had been following the Locomotion Instagram for a long time before finally getting the courage to sign up and I wish I joined sooner! Welcoming isn't strong enough a word to describe how the staff and other members treat new people. I'm only a few weeks into the program and I love it more and more with each class. I have been going to Locomotion for a couple of months now and I CANNOT say enough about it.
I, like the rest of the world blew out my lower back and sit behind a desk all day.
I was in unbearable back pain and couldn't even make it up a regular flight of stairs without stopping to catch my breath kind of pain.
I started working with the people over there and my quality of life has improved!
I can walk up the stairs and even carry a small load of laundry now 😁
I can get out of bed now without wanting to ooze off the bed, onto the floor and stay there until help comes. 😏
I have been sticking my landings when I fall over nothing or trip. My body doesn't hurt the next day.
I can go on and on, but you have to go and see what it's like for yourself. You will walk out feeling very limber.....with no pain!

I have been working out at Loco Motion New York with Bruce for a little over a year now. I am in my 60's and when I started I suffered from chronic pain from a previous injury. Bruce works me hard but he is so skilled at knowing what to work on and what to avoid if it aggravates anything. I have to say, I really look forward to my twice weekly semi private classes. I feel great- am almost completely pain free and look and feel so much stronger and toned. I have been getting a lot of compliments lately with people telling me I look great and asking me if I'm working out! Love this place- everyone here from staff to Kevin the owner, to all of the members are wonderful and so supportive. I recommend Loco Motion NY 1000%!

Being a student at Loco Motion goes beyond "working out" when you come into class you are learning, thinking, getting stronger, playing, moving your spine, balancing, lifting, crawling...the list goes on. The teachers at Loco have so much knowledge and do a great job of teaching complex patterns/concepts and breaking them down. Loco is for everyone, if you are looking to be challenged and to move in a meaningful way come try a class. You are for sure pushed out of your comfort zone here but in the best way possible.

I am very happy to say that joining the Locomotion community was a great decision. Huge shoutout to Bruce who has been guiding me through strengthening my shoulder after a minor injury at the end of last year. Our sessions coupled with PT have left me feeling alot stronger and in significantly less pain. Locomotion provides that one on one or group workout experience with trainers who are extremely knowledgeable in their field. It’s a fun way to stay in shape and do things that you wouldn’t even imagine doing! I learned how to do a handstand, dips and pull-up on the rings and feel so much stronger. I would 100% recommend.

"Never underestimate how much one person can influence your life in a positive way" In this situation, it was three people - Kevin, Bruce, and Matt. I've been to many Gyms and Fitness Centers on the island, and I've found Kevin's fitness knowledge to be on another level. The way he programs classes and constantly changes things up keeps things exciting. Bruce and Matt are always ready to answer my questions and keep me on track toward my goals.
My first introduction to Locomotion - I contacted Kevin about an injury/pain in my neck and right arm. Kevin gave me work that I could start at my level and helped me get and stay pain-free.
After training for a few months, I told Kevin I was thinking about having Knee Arthroscopy. He discussed options with me, and we started to do Prehab Work to Strength the Knee before surgery. Getting ahead of the problem and adding Kevin's post-surgery work, I was able to heal and get my knee better than before.
Movement Class has allowed me to feel so much freedom in my own body; I will continue to challenge my body in different ways. I recommend Locomotion to anyone trying to heal from an injury or looking for a new challenge.

An exceptional studio. I found this place unexpectedly. The instructors are patient and keep a log of your progress and monthly goal reviews. It’s an eclectic mix of various forms of fitness and art. As a teacher myself, teaching and guiding a student isn’t always a single linear and definitive method; every student learns and absorbs information differently as well as at their own pace and that is exactly what Kevin, Matt, and everyone else at Locomotion understands and applies. Their classes and individual sessions while covering a broader topic or movement can be tailored to fit you specific needs and/or desire to learn, even in a group setting where some may be more advanced than others. Having the right teacher isn’t always an easy find because being exceptional at something doesn’t always make you a proficient educator in the topic, it’s years of experience instructing along with the knowledge that makes the guys at Locomotion great at what they do.

Absolutely amazing community. Post Divison 1 Track and Field I was searching for a new challenge. From day 1 I was hooked. The workouts are led by highly skilled coaches who give instant feedback and adjustments that know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible. Stepping into new skills can be daunting but seeing how all different levels can fit in a single class amazes me. The attentiveness to detail keeps me motivated week by week. I love that the coaches provide a welcoming group class setting with the continuous support that pushes each individual individually. I have committed a lifetime membership with locomotion!

Everyone has different ideas regarding how they define their personal fitness overall. The approach taken at this LocoMotion caters to that because it is about so much more than pushing weights and counting reps. Instead the focus is on enabling you to do the things you want to do outside of the class session. Walk, run, jump, touch the floor, be upside down, you name it. It's less about pushing boundaries and more about showing you that they do not have to exist.
This is a very unique studio with a staff who pay attention to you and truly want to see you progress in your fitness journey.
My only regret is not finding this place sooner.

Thanks to their coaching, support, and motivation, I continue to achieve movements and routines once thought too challenging to accomplish (ring routines, 5 rep strict ring muscle up, shoulder stands, etc). I continue to be impressed with their ability to coach movement(s) to all skill levels, their focus and attention to each student, and their ability to create a positive environment. Based on my confidence in @locomotionnewyork, I also entrusted my three kids to attend. They now attend and greatly enjoy the kids movement and specialty classes.

I am always surprised how people seem to be intimidated when they check out Locomotion website.
What Kevin has done for me in the past three years it’s purely strengthening every fiber in my body. I learned that I forgot how to move in simple ways that require activation of all the muscles that I have been gifted with.
It is because of movements learned at Loco I was able to heal an IT band injury. My best Open CrossFit score was when I trained at Loco and not in a CrossFit box.
In a world filled with curls and triceps exercises, coming to Locomotion it’s like a breath of fresh air that provides strength because you should always try to make it harder and not easier if you want to grow.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Loco Motion! I found Loco by accident in the summer of 2019 when a friend brought me along to a class. At the time, I was in physical therapy for my knee and looking to exercise more regularly. I had never been "athletic" and tended to dread and avoid physical exercise. Going to Loco completely turned that around for me. Every class is different, exciting, and well-taught - accessible to people at all levels, with supportive, welcoming teachers and students who meet you where you are and help you improve. There is an incredibly wide range of skills that people work on: weight training, hand balancing, mobility work, and more. It is a space accepting of all body types and sizes - the teachers talk about how you can develop a smarter, stronger, more capable body. I have been a student at Locomotion New York for two years. I began with a very stiff spine/disk injuries and many joints ravaged by autoimmune connective tissue disease. I struggled with basic activities of daily living. Through the process of illness, I lost many connections to myself and other people.

Kevin Neglia has a magical way of making you see the world of movement in a new light. He has first class knowledge in many aspect of movement including weightlifting and acrobatics. I started coming here a little over a year ago because I needed structure in a lot of the bodyweight skills and patterns I wanted to learn. This place offers to teach you a holistic perspective on human movement in a general movement practice. When I first joined I was mostly attending the 11am classes with a group of hard working, similarly driven people whose company I really enjoyed. There’s a great variety of topics in each class and you’ll quickly learn where your strengths and struggles are and how to approach them. Topics include strength work, mobility, coordination, rhythm, moving patterns in and around the squat, movement on the floor, soft acrobatics, and balance work to name a few. With the coronavirus outbreak I switched to online instruction, and this has been where by biggest progress has taken place. This is the most consistent I’ve ever been in pursuit of any physical goals because I have people to keep me accountable and I have things I can work on in the “here and now” that will eventually lead me to being able to achieve these goals. More importantly, there’s been a positive shift in how I feel about myself when it comes to what I perceive as “failure.” I’ve learned to treat myself better. I really hope to see this practice grow, encourage anyone who’s interested to give it a try, and I look forward to developing stronger relationships with everyone here :)

Loco Motion New York is a different experience for everyone. That’s because you receive personalized instruction depending on who you are, what your goals are, and how advanced your skills are. For me, Loco has been part rehab (I started training here after suffering a debilitating lower back injury), part strength/body building (I am stronger and look better than I ever have), and part community building (I have made many close friends in my 2+ years of training here).
I would recommend Loco over any other fitness facility I have ever gone to. This is not because other facilities lack quality, but because the quality at Loco is so tremendously high due to the care and dedication of the trainers. I am so proud of all the progress I have made here and incredibly excited for the new goals I will soon be accomplishing.

What I can about Loco Motion New York that others haven't already? Friendly staff? Personal, physical, and spiritual growth? A great community? Literally everything has been said about how awesome they are. I joined based off a fb ad about a year and a half ago. I was 4 1/2-5 months pregnant. This has been one of the best decisions to join - they weren't afraid to work with me like some other trainers seemed to be. I got my husband involved as well. While this is not your typical gym to come in and work out by yourself, it is a great thing to join. You will have the experience of joining in person classes, personal training, semi-private training all with talented and friendly staff. Since the pandemic hit the US they have gone above and beyond to still keep in contact and work out with you. Whether it is a zoom class or meeting up at a local park to play outdoors (and break a sweat). They work with your schedule and your budget to make the best of it. It's a lovely and welcoming community - you get training, holding yourself accountable, and new friends. I can't gush about loco enough!! Totally join and experience the awesomeness yourself. :)

I joined Loco Motion in August of this year and committed to attending classes three times a week. I walked in with a background of CrossFit and over the past few months my "WODs" have been cut down to twice a week when I am lucky. That being said, I was not anticipating to do as well as hoped in the 2020 CrossFit Open. To my surprise, I was able to do more than I expected in every work out. My pulling, pushing, leg, and core strength has all improved because of Loco Motion. I went from not working on movements like muscle ups, pistols, pull ups, and toes to bar in over 6 months at CrossFit, to being able to do 30+ muscle ups, unbroken toes to bar, unbroken chest to bar pull ups, and consistent pistols in the Open, all from the work and practice that we do at Loco Motion.
Although the physical accomplishments are amazing, the mental and emotional accomplishments I have gained is immeasurable. I’ve learned about fears I didn’t know I had. I’ve overcome fears that I’ve had for longer than I can remember. I get pushed out of my comfort zone and social anxieties every class. The community that has been built is welcoming, encouraging, and authentic. I am truly grateful for all of them and Loco Motion.

Locomotion is definately not a general “gym” by any means, its much more than that. I started at locomotion 6 months ago and am still amazed at how much progress i have made in that short amount of time, i have learned so many different things that i will now carry with me for the rest of my life and teach others who are interested in it. I have always been an active person. However, being a chronic exerciser most of my life left me with a lot of imbalances due to overuse, injuries, lack of prehab, the list goes on. Locomotion you ask?? Let me tell you about this place of elegance. Most people join a fitness facility to look better right? This is a superficial goal. The deeper goal is to function, live, play, work, FEEL better. To eliminate fear even! Always. For whatever your own personal reason, Locomotion tackles each issue without you even realizing it, and from odd angles (literally). There is not one aspect of their training that you cannot take from their space and apply it directly to your daily life.
Let me shoot you a hypothetical. You're in the shower, lathering up all nice. You drop the soap before you finish. Uh oh. Now you have to immerse your half lathered body into the pounding shower water to retrieve the soap you have carelessly dropped... or do you? Nay I say. Now, you can use the bending, twisting, and every day life skill-set you've developed from Chris/Kevin/Mario's golden nuggets of wisdom to turn your body in such a way to avoid this high pressure flow of H2O and safely scavenge your slippery bar of clean. All while maintaining stability, balance, integrity, and strength.
This may be a silly analogy, but I'm a silly guy, and have 100% thought this myself. That, and I've been going for 5 months now. In indescribably ways has this helped me! I can't say how many times I've fallen at odd angles, saved myself, and thought, "damn I wonder how that would've gone if I hadn't been going to Loco". Seriously, give it a try, just once. If not, you'll always wonder how it would have been.

Over the last several years my exercise training reached a plateau but I felt there had to be more. From the moment I stepped into LocoMotion I knew I found what I had been searching for, and then some.

If you’re looking for a gym that you can put your headphones in and walk on the treadmill this isn’t the gym for you. If you’re looking for a gym that facilitates your growth both physically and mentally this is the gym for you.
Everyone has areas of strengths and weakness. The staff at Loco Motion work with every student in their own individual program all while in the class setting. Everyone’s needs are different and Kevin, Chris, and Mario are more than accommodating to everyone. I have trained BJJ for the last 2 years and have dealt with multiple injuries. Loco Motion has given me the tools that my body needs in order to use it for as long as possible.
As a Registered Nurse working in a nursing home, I see firsthand patients who are unable to move and wish they moved their bodies while they could. Now unable to get out of bed without the help of a mechanical lift, they lay in regret.

When you first walk in, if you're to observe, you may wonder "why are these people crawling, or slithering across the floor, or dancing, or hanging, or punching a tennis ball against a wall?" If you were to ask us why we are doing it, we would simply tell you that we are doing our work.
When I first started working with Kevin, we really didn't do much of the above mentioned things, we had a more traditional trainer client relationship where he would tell me to take a weight, show me what he wanted me to do with it, I would grumble or try to distract him with a joke, and eventually try to perform the exercise he wanted me to do as good as he demonstrated it, which never really looked the same. A few weeks into our first meetings, we discovered that a prior issue with my lower back was in fact far worse than originally thought. I personally think a lot of people would have stopped their training at that point, but I trusted Kevin.
I trusted that he had the knowledge and education so that I could continue to work out, to make some improvements and not risk injuring myself further, and I was right. It was around that time that Kevin would tell me, “oh hey, on such a such day (like 2 days from now) I’m going to Amsterdam, or Japan, or Thailand” or some other exotic place on the planet. I would always think, man this guy is living his life right, traveling the world, but every time he would come back from his trip he would start every session with this statement, “let’s try doing this”, followed by some movement that was typically named after an animal and usually resulted with my face on the ground. It was in those moments of mentally cursing him, i realized, “he wasn’t just traveling, he was learning more!” But I trusted Kevin.
Over time, this level of trust has taken Kevin and his students, myself included, to different fitness facilities, state parks, docks, basketball courts, playgrounds, front lawns, garages, basically anywhere that had enough room for people to be able to move, crawl, jump, hang, and simply move their bodies. Until December 2017.
It was then that Kevin, his partner Chris, and coach Mario, were able to open the space now known as Locomotion New York. This space is far more than what it’s name says. What it really is, is a community, a community of great people that get to come together to practice and work on their own personal goals. If you were to ask me to define it, it would be very easy for me: it’s the most non judgmental, most supportive facility I’ve ever been in. As someone that was once near if not over 300 pounds, being judged on appearance is always something that’s at the forefront of my mind, there is absolutely zero judgement and that is the most important quality a facility can offer. A place where at any time you can see people from the age of 14 to 65 and every age group in between, at every fitness level working to improve their lives, as individuals, but together as a group. If you can’t picture what I mean by that, you’ll have to come take a look.
If you’ve made it this far through this testimonial, I thank you, and I hope that my words, which are just that words, will entice you to come check out our community. There is an energy of focus, commitment, curiosity, discovery and patience as we all progress differently in our practice. I was never one to make fitness a priority, I would periodically workout to improve my appearance but would fall off due to boredom of monotonous routines or overarching priorities taking up my time. I found yoga in college and stuck with it mainly due to the meditative flow state I could achieve while working my physical body. The combination of mind/body work was appealing to me. This same concept is what I've found at Locomotion, but with even more challenge and diverse application. The training at Locomotion is considered a movement practice which sounds seemingly vague to an outsider, or maybe even silly. A concept we've recently discussed in class is the tendency to reject or mock something we don't understand out of instinctual fear of the unknown. A practice that encompasses strength training, fosters creativity, embraces authenticity, and explores the human psyche, I am hooked! It truly is the offering of a lifestyle and culture that hones in on the things that matter, what we as a community need more of. LIFE CHANGING! This method of training is truly essential and fundamental for building a strong body AND a strong mind. Kevin, Chris, and Mario are literally redefining the meaning of "functional strength". The training practice takes bits and pieces of ideas from existing disciplines like sport, martial arts, dance, gymnastics, weightlifting, etc.
In January 2018, I suffered from recurring back injuries from the "conventional" training I had been doing (standard bodybuilding and crossfit style gym routines, cardio sessions, yoga, etc.) I was no longer able to squat and deadlift due to my pain and lack of mobility, and I was constantly hurting myself during Brazilian JiuJitsu training (a grappling art similar to wrestling). It debilitated me to the point that I was no longer able to lift or train at all. I took a hiatus from everything I had been doing, and I began taking classes at LocoMotion 3-4 days/week from January until now (April 2018.) Last night, I went back to JiuJitsu and my teammates were astounded at how much strength and mobility I had gained over the time that I had been gone. They were all asking for my secret... It attracts a certain crowd of like-minded individuals who are looking to better themselves and live a healthier, longer life. I firmly believe the quality of your life is directly tied to the health of your body. If you train at LocoMotion, I can guarantee you that you will make more gains in a short period of time than you have made in years of conventional training. I cannot say enough good things about the facility itself, the trainers, the Loco community, and the practice that is being taught.
This is for EVERYONE; every age, race, gender, condition, etc... Everything we do is scale-able to your current level of ability, and you will be surprised at how quickly you progress from a beginner into being able to do things you never thought you would be able to do. In just 4 months, I'm astonished at how far I have come. I will stick around and learn from these guys for as long as I possibly can, as they are a wealth of knowledge and genuinely care about their students.
