They may not show up on medical tests, but they're absolutely real - and they're the hidden culprits behind your persistent pain.
This is exactly where I come in.
Through 28+ years of hands-on experience, I've developed a systematic approach to identifying and unwinding these compensation patterns. We don't just work around the pain - we address why it's happening in the first place, even when medical tests can't find the cause.

Jamie is informed, kind, responsive, motivating, and has gone above and beyond what I expected. He’s figured out my underlying postural causes of discomfort that, in the past, led to pain after weight training, and then he has adjusted my training program in real-time to test what will and will not suit my body. Just as an example, I developed bicep tendinitis as I started training. Jamie initiated contact with my physical therapist to assess the likely cause and then revised my program to help me recover much more quickly than I would have had he not taken the extra step to consult with my PT.
One among many things that I appreciate about Jamie is his vision that postural issues, which I’d considered to be baked-in limitations on my strength and fitness aspirations, those really are just puzzles to be solved together. He is genuinely fascinated by the human body and the project of figuring out how to help people. That has taught me not just how to exercise properly but also, more broadly, that there is more physical fitness available to me in my future than I realized.
I’d never worked with a personal trainer and feel very lucky to have landed with an incredibly gifted and dedicated professional in Jamie. I’ve been a massage therapist for almost 40 years and for the last 10, I’ve had chronic lower back issues. Forward leaning posture has created imbalances which Jamie was able to address with his vast knowledge of posture and mechanics. The work hasn’t had a chance to do its magic, since I have only had one day to do my part, but I am hopeful.
Jamie is professional and personal and lends himself to be a great support to those who find themselves in a vulnerable pain state. His mindful, caring and thorough assessment picked up on things I had forgotten to mention.
He set me up with a program to take home to follow, and I didn’t even have to take notes! There’s an app for that! The app tracks your participation, has videos for review if you're unsure you got all the details of the movements/postures and counts the prescribed times down for you. Additionally, there’s a section that makes recommendations for makeshift props should you net (yet) have those required/utilized in the office.
So far, so great! Now, I just need to maintain my own dedication and commitment to feeling great in my own body to see where the work I put in with the tools he has given me takes me!

I just had a fantastic session with Jamie Dreyer. He found two areas that are misaligned in my body and gave me long and short exercise programs to do every day. He actually spent the time with me doing the long version while he corrected my form. We talked about many other things to do with aging and was able to offer suggestions for dry eye and supplements. It's great to talk with someone who understands and is patient and supportive. I'm looking forward to feeling better!

I met Jamie Dreyer when I was 74 years old. Over the past 16 years I had both hips, both knees and both shoulders replaced due to wear and tear and arthritis. During that time I also recovered from liver disease and breast cancer.
My surgeries were followed by PT which was helpful but I was still in a lot of pain. Walking further than 100 ft, standing for 2 minutes and getting up from a chair had become difficult.
I needed to get my strength and feeling of good health back.
My goal was to be able to walk 6 blocks to Jamie’s studio, excercise and walk back home. I do that now.
I had 10 sessions with Jamie. I have 2 personalized PTX Therapy programs to do at home from the App. I take walks around the grounds where I live, do my own shopping, and easily get up from a chair. If needed I can get off the floor by myself. My life is greatly improved. Thank you Jamie!

Meeting Jamie helpedme feel immediately better. He generously and patiently instructed me with several egoscue excercises which felt great. not only physically but mentaly as well. after 40 minutes in the session i noticed a relaxation response in the body and psyche and my sleep at that night was deep and sound hich really suprised me. Recently I had an evaluation of my posture, and learned more about my posture, shape and possible causes than I have heard before. Jamie offered exercises, and various movements to strengthen weaker muscle groups in hips, shoulders, erector muscles along the spine and overall core strength. Jamie had come highly recommended by a family friend. I can now attest to that recommendation. I had knee issues that were resolved almost immediately. I am now working on back and leg pain. In a short time I am able to manage the pain and with continued consistent exercises I am confident this issue will be resolved. Three months of working with Jamie, I feel like a different person. Not hyperbole.
My GP gave me Jamie's details when I had my third serious back spasm in 6 months. I've had a slew of (what I thought were unconnected) aches and pains since my teens, but after hitting major burn out in my early 40s, I'd developed a lot of prohibitive postural issues resulting from 18 months of deep rest.
I went to him with plantar fasciitis so bad that I could barely walk for more than 5 mins, and back issues that meant I often couldn't stand up, and therefore couldn't do any significant exercise or bear any real weight. I have chronic illness, and walking, hiking and weight training have been vital tools for managing my health for decades. I was an athlete in my teens and have been active with weight training, calisthenics and yoga ever since. But by our first appointment it truly felt like my body was failing me, and that it might be permanent.
Three months in, I'm back to getting 12k+ steps per day, painlessly, and enjoying regular training sessions and lifting 80lb+.
I did the work, and I took this process really seriously, but the reason I think it's so effective is because Jamie sees his clients as whole human beings, and treats them holistically. When I'd go to him with a MILLION QUESTIONS, he'd answer - diligently. He helped my neurodivergent brain to figure out what I was feeling and where. He helped me to put together a picture of what's happening in my body, and how it's all connected.
He targeted specific areas of weakness, highlighted specific areas of strength and overcompensation, and helped me to navigate a chronically painful body that I'm often at odds with.
As a result, I've had ZERO back issues since I've started seeing him (truly, bless you) and my strength is sky-rocketing again.
Not an overstatement to say that he's helped me to come back to myself and my body in a way that no one else ever has. One of the best things I've ever done for my health. Cannot recommend him enough.

When i first met Jamie I was at the gym and I was experiencing a lot of knee pain and discomfort when squatting at the time and told him during sports and hiking as well. I had surgery when i was In school on my knee and it restricted me from doing a lot of activities. After coming into his office and him giving me stretches and exercises to do my knee pain went from alot everyday doing simple things like walking up stairs to being gone i never knee i could feel this good. Jamie Dreyer really cares, Be you can feel it in the way he addresses your aches and pains as an entire body. He is articulate and answers questions in great detail. My posture evaluation was great. I was one to one walked through the evaluation, and then guided through some exercises that would help my specific situation. It is worth the time in anyone’s schedule to at least go for the free eval, and even better if you’re able to stay and try out some of the exercises. I have been doing them for days now, and have felt some relief in my back and sciatic nerve where I was having tremendous pain and annoyance when walking.

Wow. Jamie is amazing. I went to him because I have a little hip discomfort especially after golfing. As he was helping me with that he noticed a few other things that were bothering me without even telling him.
His knowledge for his craft is out of this world. He helped balance my hip and my ankle along with my abductors and shoulders.
Overall Jamie knows his stuff and if you have anything bothering your or you just want to be proactive and preventive go see this man. You won't regret it.
