took my first mobility class today - what a fun and empowering experience! it was really cool to engage the body in a manner outside of 'traditional' yoga and pilates. While I was only passing through Ithaca this weekend, I'm considering signing up for the on demand classes bc of the positive experience I had today. Great job Maha Yoga!

This studio rocks. Best experience hands down that I've ever been to. The instructors are AMAZING! Thoroughly suggest to anyone who is a Yoga fan, or just starting their journey. These folks are so helpful and encouraging. Best decision I've made to join this studio, and feel so much better physically & spiritually for it. A must place to try a class for sure. You won't regret it. 100% guaranteed!

Maha Yoga is such an amazing place. I've been to ~70 classes the past 3-4 months and have grown so much.
What I like most about this studio is the combo of how welcoming and warm people are along with the high level of expertise and experience from instructors, and especially the owner, Justicia. Life experience and the wisdom that can come from it is priceless, and to be around that energy during classes is something I don't take for granted.
I feel like I can relax and be myself at Maha Yoga because of all this, along with the subtle, ongoing encouragement to support, strengthen, and love yourself as you are.
I highly, highly recommend Maha Yoga!!

This studio makes me get off my couch and improve my day! I don't quite understand how, but at Maha the air smells fresher, the people seem friendlier, and I'm closer to being the yogi I want to be. I like the high ceilings, the easy registration system, and the vibe which emphasizes mutual support. It's not a place to "see and be seen" but rather to upgrade your day. My only complaint is that sometimes I'm not sure whether I'm putting my mat in the 2nd row, the 3rd row, or in between. I'm anxious like that :-)

I'm obsessed with the Maha Mobility class. I feel so damn strong after class. It's hard to explain, but also like, my body just feels smarter? When I win Survivor, I will definitely owe Justicia a cut of my winnings. This class is also not super yoga-y, which appeals to me as I'm mourning and yoga's a bit emotional for me right now. I also love Ilana. I haven't tried other teachers yet, but with the live stream & intro pass, it will be really easy to check everyone out soon! Thank you Maha!

Worth a visit! It's a cozy upstairs yoga studio with nice natural light and a friendly atmosphere. Great instruction that helped me get unstuck and advancing again in my own yoga practice. Looking forward to coming back.

Maha is a much needed new yoga/mobility studio in downtown Ithaca. Great looking studio with full supply of mats and props. Iβve been practicing yoga for 23 years and Justicia is one of the best teachers Iβve worked with. I love her yoga classes. And her Maha Mobility class, which I just tried, is going to be life-changing! Highly recommend.

Lovely space with some of the friendliest yoga instructors I've ever met! The studio is in a great location and I'd highly recommend it. Although they just opened here in Ithaca, their Philadelphia studio where I have frequented has been around for many years. It's clear that they brought the same energy and passion up here in their Ithaca location!

The Maha Studio is a beautiful place to practice yoga. It's bright, spacious and it has high quality props. I took a class with Justicia. She shared her love of yoga and blended movements designed to build strength and awareness in my body as we moved through our asana practice. Give it a try and take a class!

The place is lovely, it gave me a spacious and clean feeling and a friendly vibe.
Class was great. The focus on mobility, intention and internal strength helped move through postures with consciousness and love, just the right amount of challenge with many options on how to make postures work best for each body.
Highly recommend

As a very seasoned (aka. mature in the human lifecycle) and competetive triathlete, I needed to increase my flexibility, minimize injury and balance the demands of my very stressful job. About 5 years ago, I stumbled upon Maha Yoga Philadelphia walking home from work one evening. i was captivated and hooked by the amazing energy and expertise of Justicia and her staff. I spent 2 years practicing at Maha and felt physically strong, more mobile and found so much peace.
In 2021, I took a remote corporate role, gave up the city life and moved to Ithaca, NY. I chose this wonderful town b/c of the amazing community and beauty, but this Philly gal is incredibly grateful that Justicia has come to town! There are so many talented yoga instructors in Ithaca, but if youβre in search of greater mobility, an athlete with big goals and trying to minimize injury while building strength and flexibility, looking for a place of peace or simply interested in pushing your edges, I strongly recommend Maha!! I hope to see some of my athletes and friends there. Welcome Justicia! Now how do I get my membership reinstated?
