About the Club

Matt has been training for ten years. He has a passion for helping people move better, feel more confident and encouraging a strong lifestyle. He has worked successfully with a wide variety of clients over the years; extending functional mobility in elderly clients, building flexibility and endurance for motocross competitors, all the way to balance and core work for members of the the Naptown Roller Derby team. Matt strives to give his clients the tools necessary to achieve whatever fitness goals they may have, so that they can move forward with knowledge, strength, and confidence.

I worked with Matt for around two years for personal training sessions, until our schedules had conflicts which required a change in meeting. From the first session Matt made me feel very comfortable, helping to explain the purpose of each exercise and ultimately losing a good amount of weight I'd put on over quarantine, while building more muscle and healthy eating habits. Our monthly check ins helped me see the progress I had been making and plan for next steps, and when our schedules ended up clashing Matt set me up with a new trainer whom he knew quite well, someone who he knew would be able to properly help me take my workouts to the next level.

If you're considering hiring Matt as your personal trainer, I couldn't recommend him enough!

I trained with Matt for 6 months as a total newbie to the gym. He designed a program around my needs that combined strength training and athletic fitness, and clearly explained everything we were doing so that even I could understand. Matt is a blast to be around and made every workout fun, even as he pushed me further than I could have pushed myself. You will leave every session feeling energized and better than before. Highly recommend!

I wish there were more stars to give! His workouts and fitness plan are not only off the charts effective , but engaging and fun! I enjoy them and don't dread them. I know they are well thought through and deliver results that get me a lot of consistent compliments. The only thing getting bigger than my muscles is my ego! :) I've been given workouts before from other coaches and my only result was some weight loss so I never expected to suddenly see abs, back muscles and biceps. My Mickey tattoo is in the right place--he bulges when I flex! :) The nutrition program is practical and safe. His knowledge, problem solving ability and intellect are impressive and benefiting me - that's for sure!
