As one of Mike's older clients, I already know if it wasn't for the set appointments, I wouldn't go to a gym numerous times a week. From the initial meeting (where I didn't know if I could even crawl out of the gym) to now testing myself under Mike's watchful eyes, I don't feel right if I don't go to the gym. A personal trainer is just that. Knowing you personally and challenging you just enough that's right for you. Being a type 2 diabetic, with bad knees now and arthritis rearing it's ugly head, moving with Mike keeps ME moving (and an A1C at 6.5!) Thanks Mike for making a HUGE difference in my life!

I really appreciate Mike and everything. He’s done for me and my family… Mike’s expertise is worth every penny… If I went to a regular discount gym, it would take me weeks to figure out which exercise to do and what height to set the seat at… Every single minute I’ve spent with Mike has been for improvement of my health. In a few short months, I went from only being able to do a few sit ups or push-ups to doing sets of 100. I know it’s a combination of Mike’s preparedness and customization for my workout needs, along with his no excuses, philosophy and positive encouraging attitude…

In the scheme of things, I’m an older trainee.
I have been working out, off and on for over 40 years. I went to Mike to get back in “golf” shape and he customized a training regimen that met with my needs. The results were very positive and I have been able to play better golf as a result.
From my perspective, Mike has the ability to tap into a trainees persona and their physical capabilities to assist them in achieving their goals.

My wife was pushing me to join Mike’s class for months and I’m so glad I did! I attend the boot camps at least twice a week and I’m trying to do more 1-on-1’s as well. Without fail, Mike works you hard, with no excuses allowed, every class! My strength has returned, when I run I feel like I have another gear now, and more importantly I feel great! Confidence is back in my appearance and I have fun every session. Classes are intense so you better be ready to work hard but also have a blast with the other people in the gym! If you think you can last an hour, and are up for the challenge, give it a go!!! You won’t regret it.

Mike is a great personal trainer who cares about the progress of his clients both mentally and physically. On day one the bar felt heavy, after setting and reaching goals I was squatting/benching/deadlifting in the one and two hundreds. Mike tailors workouts around your goals whether you’re looking to lose weight or get stronger. You might even find yourself getting into OCR’s, marathons, iron man, lifting or any other form of athletic competition.

Mike is an incredible trainer! I was visiting Kingston for a couple of weeks and desperate for a good workout. His morning small group training sessions were just what I needed. The workouts were challenging but fun and I always left feeling stronger and more energized than when I arrived. Mike is a friendly and encouraging trainer and not at all judgmental. I highly recommend him and even though I'm no longer in Kingston, I plan to sign up for his online training.

I've been working out with Mike at MRF for six years. I've done online training, bootcamp, small group training, personal training and he even rehabbed my shoulder after surgery rather than me continuing to go to physical therapy. I started out with physical therapy after surgery but was struggling to regain full range of motion and I know people who've had the same surgery, who went to physical therapy and never regained full range after years of PT. I talked to Mike, told him about my struggles to move that arm and he told me to get in there and see him. It took a couple of months, lots of complaints from me and a lot pushing from him, but I have full use of my shoulder, full ROM and I couldn't be happier about making that decision to trust that Mike absolutely could rehab it for me. Now we're back to working on full body fitness. I've lost 33 pounds and a whole lot of inches in the last year. He absolutely cares 100% about his clients, he will get you the results you're looking for. I will never work out with any other trainer. Walking into Mike's bootcamp six years ago to try it was one of the best decisions I ever made. He's the real deal and just an all around great guy. Go see him!!

Mike cares. He genuinely cares about the success of his clients. He keeps his workouts unique so that I don't get bored, and he challenges me. I've been a client of mikes for a little less than 2 years. I started off with the bootcamp and immediately loved it. The regular bootcampers made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The workouts were always different so I never got bored. Mike really gets to know his clients and knows what every one of them is capable of. He'll modify anything if he needs to but always pushes you to do your best. I've recently started his online training and it's awesome. All the online workouts are different and are different for all of his clients based on their goals. I've tried other workout programs but have never had a personal trainer. After training with Mike, I don't think I'll ever need another trainer.

I've been going to Maximum Results Fitness bootcamp for 2 years and Never get bored of Mike's workouts.
