Definitely the nicest gym in Rochester, but feels more like a club.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor tennis courts, paddle tennis courts, pickleball courts, a couple of racquetball courts, tons of cardio and strength (traditional, functional and athletic) equipment in addition to yoga, Pilates and spin studios.
Other amenities include spa, and in the locker rooms there are saunas and steam rooms.
The cafe and paddle hut both have fireplaces which make for very cozy remote work locations in the cold winter months.

I absolutely love this gym! It is like a little lounge, but also a gym a spa an everything all in one spot. Sometimes I spend my whole Sunday here! I journal in front the fire place, I sit in the steam room and then the sauna, I shower here, I stretch here, I do my lab top paper work for my business here. I truly love it here. It appears to be bougie and a predominately white space but it’s truly a friendly space, everyone minds their business and does their thang. I LOVE my gym ! LOVE it. The only down side it’s so crowded and I hate how far I have to park in the winter.
A return review after being here for a few months (started Jan 2025). I feel like a packed sardine in a suburban highschool, I can come as early or as late as possible it’s more people than there is gym. . .

I was a member at Midtown years ago and, after moving away for a decade, I’ve come back several times as a guest with friends and family.
The facilities themselves are beautiful. Midtown is a great choice for people who want a luxury gym experience—sauna, steam, classes, and a pleasant space to exercise. Personally, I find it less appealing for consistently structured workouts, but that’s more a matter of preference.
What really disappointed me on this most recent visit was the customer service. From the moment I signed up as a visitor, the front desk staff were neither polite nor helpful. The check-in process felt cold and transactional, with no attempt to be welcoming. Later, when I approached with a question, I stood waiting—clearly trying to get their attention—for about two minutes while two employees finished their personal conversation. When I finally and politely interrupted, they reacted as if I had done something wrong.
I also had a brief conversation with a gentleman in membership, and in only a few minutes he managed to imply—twice—that I was being dishonest. The tone was unnecessary and frankly unprofessional.
This stood in contrast to past visits, where I’d had positive experiences, including as a member and even as a guest on a complimentary post-deployment pass. Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. At Midtown’s price point, basic courtesy and professionalism should be the minimum standard. If I lived in Rochester, this experience alone would be enough to keep me from rejoining.

Today I visited Midtown as the guest of a friend that is a member. We took a Saturday morning Pilates class and it was challenging but energizing. I took a tour of the facility and enjoyed a smoothie at the cafe. It’s such a beautiful gym and there were so many different classes going on, I can tell there’s something for everyone!
After returning home, I realized I had dropped my sunglasses in the parking lot. I called the front desk and a member had kindly turned them in!
I wish I lived closer to their location because I would join in a heartbeat. I’m still considering it, but it would just be a long drive both ways. Grateful I was able to visit today though!

I really want to give this club five stars — the facility is beautiful, and the remodel they completed during COVID looks fantastic. They’ve clearly invested in creating a top-notch experience.
That said, one major drawback is the lack of reciprocity with other clubs, which is disappointing for a facility of this caliber. Additionally, they don’t offer any kind of guest passes for out-of-town visitors — not even at a premium price point. Unless you’re a guest of a current member, there’s simply no way to access the club during your visit, which is frustrating for travelers from other high-end areas who want to keep up with their fitness routine.
The family restroom also didn’t seem to get a facelift. Which I noticed as I watched a full grown 60+ man walk out of a kids restroom as I changed my under 9yo daughter into a bathing suit (big no no to be in that room with no children of your own) Midtown should take a meaningful look at measures for the safety of children that are in their facility bathroom.
All that said, I had a really nice experience in the workout class. The facility is overall very beautiful, almost all my interactions with the staff were very very pleasant. I hope they offer a proper option for a travel pass going forward.

We have been members at midtown for the past year and the classes, facility, and tennis programs are outstanding! Nowhere else in the Rochester area compares.
The major downside is the kidtown. If you have children under 2 years of age, getting a reservation for anytime before lunch/afternoon nap is very difficult. The process requires calling a week in advance the minute they close and leaving a voicemail requesting the time slot you'd like. Then they call you back the next day and say it's not available and provide alternatives. The available times do not usually have many workout classes during that slot. Not to mention planning your days a week in advance with babies is not the easiest. Midtown has a super user friendly app but unfortunately kidtown does not utilize this. I have voiced my concerns and suggestions to the kidtown leadership and general manager, but unfortunately nothing has improved.

I was an avid member and even continued to pay my FULL membership during the pandemic willingly when I could not attend because I believed you were a great resource for the community and felt this place was an absolute sanctuary. After the pandemic and not afraid I would be bringing sickness from the hospital, I returned to the gym and it was great. When I left town for work your manager Emily put my account on a work hold. When she left her job there, you started charging my old credit card, which I do not use, and unknowingly to me. You charged me $2000 for the year when I was out of town on a work hold. When I emailed you and called you, you ignored me. Unbelievable since I was a great client and even supported you during the pandemic! The honor does not go both ways. Certainly you do not honor me in any way. Or listen or care.

Their sales team called without invitation or warning in the middle of the workday. Their overly pushy salesperson, Karen, when informed I was busy and couldn't talk, followed up immediately with an unsolicited text message. I went from certain member to total disinterest in under 30 minutes.
Update: Asked to be removed from databases - a week later and I'm receiving spam and text messages.

I’ll update this review as my training sessions progress, but I just wanted to give a shout out to my trainer, Colin! I’m new to the whole having a trainer type thing, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, however Colin made me feel at ease immediately. He is knowledgeable, personable, and approachable. I need to feel comfortable in this type of setting in order to build trust (and strength!) and I think my first session is well on its way. Thanks Colin for a great session!

I think they suck! The employees look at minorities like we can’t afford it! The towels are hard and the lotion and body wash is cheap. All the hygiene products are cheap. For the amount of money you pay for the membership the hygiene products should be way better.

Love this place, when you can use the machines you came there to use. I like using the treadmill each morning before work. Lately they are often all taken even at early hours. Also I’ve had to complain a couple of times about people using FaceTime on their phones in the locker rooms. 4 stars due to the high price and crowds.

I've been a Midtown member for five years and it's not an easy decision letting go of my membership here. Midtown really has a strong presence in the Rochester community, providing a "third place" atmosphere where fitness-minded people can hang out, take classes, socialize, eat, etc. Unfortunately, the last several years have become increasingly corporatized and quality has dwindled while prices have skyrocketed (12% per year, on average, the last few years). In terms of customer service... there is none. Requests get thrown into some "service portal" where they will never be addressed by anyone ever again. The gym equipment is rudimentary compared to the benchmark for the rest of the industry - five years ago, you could request a reasonable piece of equipment and it would be ordered almost instantly. Many of us have routinely been reprimanded for leaving the club a couple minutes past closing time. In fact, they now have security walking through the club opening lockers a few minutes before closing. Oh, also... for 10-14% annual price increases, you still only get THREE guest passes per year... I could go on... I put my cancellation in right before the price hike and I know a lot of people are doing the same. The club was great before all of this unnecessary nonsense got implemented...

I just joined in the beginning of January 2025 and I waited a while to give my review to feel the gym out. The culture and community here is top notch. I’ve definitely wanted to gatekeep this gym but it deserves the 5 star rating!! No matter the time I enter you are greeted warmly and there’s so much more but honestly, I think it’s worth the price. Deff luxurious but only for the people that truly prioritize health which sets this gym apart from the rest. I wouldn’t join if you sometimes like the gym sometimes don’t. You have to be a dedicated person in order to benefit from all the resources this gym has to offer.

Nice club…..but they do not have a lot of Weight Machines. Far too often I’ve had to just stand there and wait for someone to get off a machine as they’re all taken (mostly because him/her is on their phone). Also, I go during the day when it’s not as crowded. I cannot imagine what it’s like after 5pm. It just simply wouldn’t work. They need to add at least 5 to 10 weight machines. How can you have one curling machine for instance? LA Fitness has 3 times the amount. Other than the lack of machines the club is great.

Major area of opportunity. A luxury gym that doesn't offer a high priced day pass... allow me to explain.
I am now a member of lifetime fitness
That membership cost $1000 down and cost me $359 a month Every time I go into the gym I spend at least $20 in the café
That all resulted from a day pass, I procured at one of the Chicago locations, and I absolutely fell in love with the gym
I had stopped in other cities and had paid as much as $100 for a day pass to use one of their facilities
Worth every penny
So I am in town, here in Rochester on business and find a luxury gym across town. So I drive 15 minutes across town and walk in to buy what I expect to be an expensive day pass.
The young lady at the counter nicely informed me that they do not offer day passes
This, especially given the fact that there are other locations is a terrible policy
There is a huge opportunity, cause that you were missing out on the revenue from the day passes, but also the potential new customers that you could gain from utilizing a day pass
I do not live in Rochester
But I am in Chicago all the time and I know there's a location there
Epic fail, Midtown athletic club
You are a luxury wellness club
I highly recommend that you offer a high price day pass. It will maintain the integrity of your culture, but also you will serve additional potential future customers.

The vibe here is good but has declined in the last two years.
The amount of people that joined tripled last year but then there were some huge issues.
Safety, broken shower heads, poor service, and broken equipment.
Its been on a steady decline while the price has skyrocketed.
The price went from $186 to $240 in just two years and new members are being charged $270 so ours will go up to $270 in a few months.
Thats a 45% increase in just two years.
Half the people at the gym quit due to price and it feels empty lately.
The vibe feels off and the community has begun disbanding.
There’s still community in the classes and for tennis but things have definitely shifted.
Its not what it once was and if I also had to guess the price will be $400 a month by 2026.
It’s unfortunate as this was a really great place and slowly but surely has changed. Most likely new members are giving five stars as it’s their first experience. For those of us who have been here a while.. we see the realities.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Midtown. I’m always greeted by the friendliest front desk staff, especially Christopher, Karen, Jazzy, and Rachel.
No matter the time of day, I can always find a class to take. I’ve found all the teachers and trainers to be knowledgeable and willing to spend time answering a question or offering encouragement.
A gigantic standing ovation goes to Randi Lattimore, who with her positive attitude, quick smile, phenomenal teaching skills, and an ability to make everyone feel welcome. I believe her wonderful qualities lay the foundation for so much of the club. It’s really an incredible gift. Kate, Erica, Brett, Jason, Amy, Haley, Karin, and Erin are teachers that I love and who put their heart into every class.

Ania - Midtown Trainer 💪👍
I want to give a huge shoutout to Ania at Midtown. She’s an outstanding athletic and weight trainer, and her expertise in nutrition and diet makes her a complete package. I’ve worked with many trainers, both in person and online, and Ania is by far the best. Her tailored programs, combined with a sharp focus on technique and form, are key to making progress while staying injury-free.
During our sessions, Ania is incredibly attentive to every detail. She watches my movements closely, asking how I feel and whether I’m targeting the right muscles. If something is off, she adjusts on the spot, and I can instantly feel the difference. On top of that, she’s a pro when it comes to diet and nutrition, offering advice that complements the training perfectly.
Midtown is truly lucky to have her on their team. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about reaching their fitness goals.

I have LOVED my life at Midtown since I joined in May! I have used the 1:1 time with Tim Seawright boxing to improve on my skills for my fight in Buffalo.. its been a phenomenal experience. Tom DeRoller has been a wonderful host and the staff at the front desk have made me feel like a million dollars as soon as I walk in. Positives: I LOVE the amenities that are offered, which is the main reason I joined. If you use them, it's worth it. Also, the massage services are affordable compared to other local establishments.
Cons: They raised prices just as Midtown's cafe was cited for several issues by Monroe County DOH (look it up). The pool is overrun by college and high school kids during the summer. Many of whom "sneak in guests" all summer. It's so packed that many times I couldn't even find a spot to get into in the pool or a chair by the pool. Teens are clustered at the ladders. I'm assuming these are non-paying members. The staff doesn't seem to care. Dress code at the pool, which I was told would be enforced, is not. Thongs galore! It's inappropriate, especially for teens. These teens also blatantly use their phones for tiktoks and snapchats in the locker rooms. I caught myself in the background several times. How does Midtown plan to enforce the no video in the locker rooms? They offer tons of classes, but there are only a handful of beginner-level classes (ie. a low-key yoga), and most of the classes I would want to take are during the workday, so I can't take them.
Customer service barely exists. I have tried several different ways to book a massage - no one calls or emails back. I have reached out to management twice about the above concerns, no one reaches out or answers my questions.
It's too bad because I heard it used to be really nice.

After finding out my dad was a member with this club and unfortunately he would not be able to continue on as a member due to his inability to move. A number of many strokes left his left side paralyzed. My family paid up his balance and requested that the club cancele his membership due to his inability to function. My family's hardship isn't enough, but they want to continue charging him for a service he would not be able to utilize in his condition. The lack of empathy given to us in these trying times is unbelievable. He was and is a upstanding citizen in this community and respected. A misfortune has fallen on him and his family, for this club to further request his personal information is disrespectful. Allow me to point out father last name was Wegmans or Golisano they would simply do the right and respectful thing. We have to help my farther fight to regain a normal life back,at time fight a greed driven health club. Who's concern is not their members but earning....

first thing you should know is that if you join you are obligated to stay for a full year. You might decide you don't like it but you won't be allowed to cancel. Here are some reasons you should concider.
1. it takes months to fix a broken weight machine
2. the men's steam room has a weird smell and unless you want to deal with a sore throat I recommend you breath through your nose.
3. the shower drains form a trough so your feet will get splashed by the water from the people farther up the line than you.
4. this is a chain and you won't see most of the pictures from the website.

I've been going to Midtown for a little over a year now. I Started doing Gentle Yoga with Emma S. on Tuesday @ 4:15 last summer. I had little to no experience with yoga but thought it would be good for me to try, as I'm not very flexible. Emma is an excellent coach who made me feel comfortable and has helped me improve over the last year. She is very knowledgeable in all the poses and demonstrates perfectly for me and others too understand. Her classes flow differently ever week which makes me want to come back. Recently this class turned into regular Vinyasa, which scared me a bit at first but she said I would fine. And she was right! I'm currently improving in my poses and balance, and getting very close too touching my toes! I even had the confidence in trying a Power Vinyasa (Heated) class. Little too sweaty for me, but I did it! Emma also took the time for me to come in early one class to work on my downward facing dog. Thanks Midtown for having Emma as a coach, she's great and I highly recommend her class to others.

The coaches, trainers, and community of members whom I have met over the past 24 years have been the reason that I remain at Midtown Athletic Club of Rochester. Through the positive energy from my Club friends and the coaches/trainers, I have gotten through a recent major surgery.
The positive recovery has been the result of becoming the strongest that I could be prior to surgery. Kudos to my coaches in Apex and Endure: Heidi, Chad, Christine, Cel, Sam who have provided me with a diversity of strength moves; and Jordan Nucci, personal trainer, who has pushed me to achieve more thru my group training sessions. A special appreciation goes out to my training group, who has allowed me to be part of their group as the "matriach" and, most importantly, who has provided me with their support pre - and post surgery.
The aforementioned is not often found at other work-out facilities, but this is what makes Midtown Athletic Club of Rochester so special to me in addition to all the offered classes and amenities. The Club will be as worthwhile as you allow it to be!

The yoga teachers at Midtown are the best I have ever practiced with. Each one is has their own magical flow and I love learning different things from each of them. When Erica started teaching there, I really started to understand my body better in regards to posture and balance. Her classes are amazing. I feel like I have grown physically and spiritually after each session….and her music is so great! Randi and Karen are amazing leaders for their yoga teacher team. They work so well together to create an environment for the teachers and the whole yoga community at midtown to grow.

Midtown changed my life. Not only from a health and wellness perspective, but also from a social perspective. I’ve met the most amazing people and created lifelong friendships through spending time at Midtown. The trainers and instructors are amazing. In Samadhi; one must take classes with Erica, Karyn, Randi, Brett, Erin, Jason and Kate. If you’re looking to take a spin, check out Mike and Jules in Ride. Looking for a little HIIT? Go see Jared, Cel and Heidi for Apex. If you want to dance in the theater, take a class with Marisa and Alexander. If you’re needing some time at the barre, Erica, Christine, Randi and Madi will make sure you have a challenging and fun experience. I could go on and on about how amazing Midtown is, but don’t take my word for it. Go check it out for yourself.

I highly recommend Chad Smith for his athletic training services. My introduction to Chad came through his Force Plate Platform demonstration, which impressed me greatly. Having worked with professional athletic trainers throughout my life, I appreciated the program's ability to offer insightful data for individualize program development. What sets this assessment apart is its personalized approach, providing additional tools for Chad to cater to his clients individual strengths and weaknesses.
Chad's collaboration with midtown physical therapists added another layer of credibility to his expertise. Encouraged by this, I enrolled in a series of training sessions and am pleased with the results. Chad demonstrates professionalism, approachability, and profound knowledge in his field.
One of the standout features of Chad's approach is his capability to customize programs based on diverse athletic backgrounds. In my case, helping to improve my tennis performance.
Overall, I wholeheartedly endorse Chad Smith. His blend of professionalism and expertise makes him an invaluable asset to anyone seeking to improve their health and athletic performance.

Just wanted to comment on the experience that I've had in my new membership at Midtown and with Chad in particular. I had my 3 free courses that come with joining. I used them all with Chad discussing dieting and a couple personal training session. Total professional and he is very knowledgeable. Chad was able to give me positive feedback on where he thought personal training could help. We did some very interesting testing that I'd never experienced before showing areas that I could work in specific to my goals. He was never pushy in trying to "sell" me on training. I appreciated his approach and knowledge.

The fitness classes at Midtown are fantastic! I’ve lived in many big cities and the classes in Rochester are the best of all! The fitness program is well-designed and they regularly add new classes, make updates, or do something special. You get a great workout and leave feeling uplifted and refreshed. It’s amazing how often a yoga instructor here says something inspiring that is precisely what I needed to hear. The instructors as well as the class participants make all types of people feel welcome. It’s a luxurious club that doesn’t feel snobby and is way less expensive than what I have found in larger cities.

Christine Kull brings an incredible experience to every class that is simply delightful. I've had been to most of her sessions at Midtown, and each one has left me feeling energized and uplifted. Christine's presence in the gym is like a radiating love, positivity, and encouragement in every class.
Upon joining Midtown, I never expected to find such a supportive community for growth and healing. Much of this sense of belonging stems from instructors like Christine, whose unmatched patience and encouragement make every session a transformative journey of self-improvement. Her warm and welcoming nature creates an atmosphere where you can't help but feel at home.
Christine's dedication goes beyond just the workout; she takes the time to guide newcomers through every step, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident. Whether it's her Tabata class or her PWR class, Christine infuses each session with fun and energy, making it a joyous experience from start to finish.
Her Tabata class, in particular, stands out for its fun and energetic approach to cardio. Christine's infectious positivity and energy make sweating it out feel like a breeze, leaving you with a smile on your face.

Simply put, Midtown is amazing.
After moving from a city with Equinox, I was worried about the gym options in Rochester. Then, I found Midtown.
The classes are fantastic and the instructors are even better (If you get a chance, try out Christine’s boxing, Apex by Cel, Sam & Gavin, & Pilates w/Rotem). There are so many things to pick from throughout the week, I never get bored. The coaches do a great job of giving variations to up/down-level intensity and they really make an effort to get to know the people that attend their classes.

The facility, equipment, and atmosphere are all top notch. The part I enjoy most of all, has to be the personalized services, specifically from Gavin, one of the personal trainers at the club. Gavin has been not only flexible with scheduling, but also flexible with changing up workout routines to match my changing fitness goals and to incorporate solutions to target specific pain points/hurdles. On top of that, he is always down to try something new so long as it gets you moving.
Like I said earlier in this review, the club overall is great. Very disappointed with the customer service. I signed up for a family membership last year and recently broke up. I went in and asked if I could switch out the members for my family that I am currently living with instead of paying for a family membership for just myself. I was told that shouldn't be a problem but they had to submit a ticket to Chicago. Chicago emailed me back a couple days later and said there is nothing they would do until my year membership was up. I could understand if I was asking them to downgrade my membership but the change I'm asking for costs them nothing. My brother who I would be adding was a long time midtown member too who left due to cost. Likely would have ended up at the end of the year contract with my renewing as a single and him getting a family membership. Instead I will just cancel when my year is up and he won't be going back. Everyone loses and the club gains nothing.

I went as a guest in 2018 and the facility is amazing, gorgeous, and very clean. The club itself was great and had incredible amenities. I removed a star because my experience with the other members felt absolutely insane. Understandably, there is a no phones in the locker room policy, many signs displayed saying so. A woman removed her phone from her gym bag to place in her locker and took maybe three seconds to silence the ringer. Another woman got all up in her personal space and started YELLING at her for several minutes about the no phones rule, unrelenting and physically venturing at her, standing between the woman and her locker. The phone was not pointed at anything and was being operated within the locker to even avoid the inkling of taking photos or videos. Okay, so don't even attempt to place your phone in a locker or else you may get accosted up close and personal with a fully nude woman borderline threatening to bump you and smack your hand.
Also in the locker room, several instances of fully nude woman sprawled out on the benches reading books or on their phones (???) Taking up entire bench spaces in the locker areas with their private areas all over shared surfaces.
The person I was a guest to took me into the sauna and I had to take my glasses off before hand because of the steam aso I couldn't see. I WHISPERED "where is the bench?" And another woman shushed us so aggressively and then berated us for "destroying the personal enjoyment of others. A huge blow up over a single whisper. After that, we sat in silence for maybe 5 minutes before finally leaving because the woman kept loudly shushing us and berating us for making noise and being inconsiderate even though the only sounds where us breathing normally.
All in all, the facility seems like an awesome resource for all aspects of health and wellness, however I think the insane clientele during that one trip would probably have deterred me from getting a membership. I would feel as though I could not peacefully enjoy the amenities without being hostilely micromanaged by random people and their own sense of vigilante justice.

Called them twice (last week and this week) and left messages hoping to inquire about available facilities (Squash Specifically) and have not received a response. I will look for alternatives who at the very least have the courtesy to respond to queries.

Came as an out of town guest and it was beautiful! A great gym with clean equipment, and tons of it. The locker rooms feel like a spa and the pool amenities are outstanding. Had a bite from the Cafe and that was delicious. So many gluten free options. I wish I lived in town so I could come back regularly. It's absolutely beautiful!

My partner and I joined Midtown in early February. We were a bit hesitant to pull the trigger due to the price. A few months in and we both agree that it was one of the best decisions that we've made in a long time!!! Their classes are all amazing - our favorite being Monday Pilates Amped with Jason. We're both feeling stronger than ever and look forward to our workouts. The facilities are all beautiful and clean. We can't wait for the warmer weather so we can utilize the pool outside. If you are on the fence about joining, DO IT!! You won't regret it.

My membership to midtown was a gift from my father and I would utilize their services when I was home visiting Rochester, NY. I am a soldier currently stationed at Ft Drum, and would periodically visit my parents. Fitness is important to me and integral to my profession, so I really appreciated my parents providing me this resource when I visited.
The problems started when the card my father had on file expired in January. Midtown made no attempt to contact me by phone about the expiration of the card, and from February 11th to March 14th I was in Louisiana conducting grueling training in preparation for my deployment in July. On March 16th I got a call from a worker at midtown that told me I had an outstanding balance of over $400. I explained to them the situation, and they still insisted on notifying collections. I haven’t used their services for the 2 months they are charging me for, and they can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that I have not utilized their services the last 2 months since they track member’s entries to the club via scanning wristbands. However, they neither care that I haven’t utilized their services nor do they care about the circumstances that prevented them for contacting me.
I believe that they both could not have reached me because of my restricted cell phone access in Louisiana nor did they make a good enough attempt to reach me to notify me that my father’s card had expired on my account. It’s ridiculously unprofessional and unreasonable how they have approached this situation and I am extremely disappointed in their management and would encourage others to be weary of them.
Edit:
I just learned that my mother informed midtown in December the membership was a gift and because I would deploy soon she instructed them to not extend at the turn of the calendar year. Instead, midtown extended it anyway and continued to charge the card on file and then contacted me in hopes I would pay the fee. Midtown is a shady, unreasonable, unprofessional, overpriced, club with mediocre amenities. I’m glad I will no longer be doing business with them.

I love midtown. Amazing gym, clean facility, the staff are amazing and always greet you with positivity and a smile on their faces, lots of amenities, classes are amazing, the food and protein shakes are amazing, spa is wonderful. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Bonnie for being extremely attentive to any questions I have and for making sure my experience at the gym is going well. I’d also like to give a shout-out to Jared and Brett for making classes fun yet challenging and working with you to better your health. Truly feels like a community rather than just “going to the gym.” Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I am unable to enjoy my time at Midtown anymore because of how CROWDED it is. It's obvious they care about making more money rather than the comfortability of their current members. It sucks because this place has nice staff, good food, and great facilities/amenities. I will be joining a different gym, though I wish I didn't have to, after being a member at Midtown for 6+ years.
Maybe take a break from accepting members for a couple weeks. Or Months.

Nothing compares. Nicest gym facility I’ve ever been to. Going to the hot tub and sauna in the winter make the season bearable. Best yoga program I’ve found in the city

I gave a two star for its interior remodeling and equipment etc. but their tennis lessons are useless they are not teaching you anything I know they want to make money but at least have people progress or learn something and as for group lessons for the kids it’s really a daycare visit. coaches are not challenging these kids they want to kids to stay in certain group level to milk as much as they can from their parents. In my opinion I don’t think these coaches are even qualify to teach tennis at all. Coaches should be ashamed!

I love Midtown. Everyone is friendly. Classes are fun. Place is super clean. And I even made a few friends! A bit pricey but hey you get what you pay for.
A special recognition goes to Alex, Randi and Karyn.
