Classes are great! Instructors are super motivating. When you arrive you check in and then go down the stairs-- showers, bathrooms, changing rooms are all downstairs. They have plenty of lockers. You will go into the studio a few minutes before class starts so you can stretch. It's fun, high-energy, music is always on point. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about how Mile High Run Club has changed my life over the past three years since I attended my first class. I was never a runner, but working with the dynamic and inspiring coaches moved me to go from couch to 5K. I’m now on track to run the six world major marathons, having completed London and New York within 6 months. It went from a 4:08 in New York to a 3:54 in London. My eyes are now set on Berlin and Chicago this fall. Not only have my times at all race distances continued to get progressively faster, but I also feel stronger in every aspect of my life. Thanks to all the coaches of Mile High Club, especially coach Kim, for keeping me moving.

Karolina Rhenman is fantastic. She was motivational and fast paced in her Dash Strength class - but not so much that you lose track of what's next. She's clear and communicative. I highly recommend her as an instructor! This was my 3rd run club class and my favorite by far has been hers. Kudos to a great hire!

Woodway treadmills which are the best. I’ve visited here ~30 times and tried ~10 different coaches - classes are always of a consistently high quality and always walk out feeling better than when I walked in.

If running is your favorite way to keep in shape, and you like being guided by a coach, this is the place for you. There are 28 treadmills in two rows. There are a few variations of classes offered, but most are centered around high intensity interval training (HIIT) running. The coach will guide runners or joggers of all fitness levels through a set of intervals designed to maximize the effectiveness of the effort.

The instructor will play a curated music playlist timed with the intervals to help give you the extra push you need in the highest intensity parts. They also change the color and brightness of the lights throughout.

I love this place and have been going for years. Overall turns the mundane activity of running/jogging into an exciting game. I personally find that when the music and lights go hard, I'm always able to find a little more in the tank.

If the sound quality was better this place would be great. But I can barely hear the music or the instructor. It's loud but not clear. The workout is great but I need good music to work out.

As a life-long runner with 37+ years of running under my belt, I grew up during a time where the only help one could receive for their running was from running books written by those who have mastered the sport (i.e., Jim Fixx's The Complete Book of Running comes to mind). Since then, running has become a huge business and runners have gotten a lot more support to help achieve their running goals. Three years ago, I discovered the Mile High Running Club. They opened a new location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan which I've been associated with ever since. Runners who join receive time-tested running advice from world-class athletes who have excelled in the sport. There is a low-lit studio that conducts challenging running workouts on high-tech treadmills. Lively music is pumped into these sessions that is geared to motivate those who participate. For those training for distance races such as half and full marathons, the location has a weekly Saturday morning long-run gathering where several professional pacers lead runners at various pace groups throughout Central Park. Each runner has their own customized training plan that is based on their ability. After you enter Mile High from the street entrance, you're greeted to a very clean and well-organized business. Runners take a staircase down to the lower level where most of the club is located. There you will find gender-neutral bathrooms, changing rooms and showers. Each shower has is own private stall with a locking door. The opened sink and mirror area is amply-supplied with various bathroom toiletries that runners may need before and after their runs. Towels, shampoo, and body wash are provided for runners for the showers as well as blow dryers. The showers provide a very fine, refreshing, and enrionment-friendly hot mist that's unlike any shower I ever took. Throughout the Club, there are many signs to show that this place is very environment-friendly. There are various recycling containers throughout the club for landfill, recyclables, and even for used running shoes. The place also has a sign asking runners to request a bath towel at the front desk (this helps prevent those who waste towels: totally understandable!). There are plenty of lockers available for runners to store their gear during their workouts. A giant 9-foot monthly calendar on the wall shows runners upcoming races and featured workouts happening throughout each month. For runners of all shapes, sizes, and speeds, the Mile High Running Club is definitely a home away from home. As a life-long runner, this place has made me fall in love with running all over again.

So glad to finally have MHRC on the UES! The instructors are all motivating and encouraging. Great variety of classes that can help meet any fitness goal- whether you’re looking to increase inductance, get faster, or strength train for running. Classes are also accessible since they’re taught to each individual’s level. Thanks for coming to the UES!

Ecstatic that Mile High has come to the UES! This stellar run studio is a great addition to any workout no matter what your level of running might be. They have mastered the art of making treadmill running challenging and enjoyable with their expertly crafted intervals, instruction and music. I also cannot say enough about their instructors who are all welcoming and motivating.

Highly recommend!

Looking to start running? Get back into running? Change up your normal run routine? This place checks all the boxes. Each class (Dash 28, High 45, The Distance) allows you to push yourself to where you're at and experience variation and challenges. Great clean facilities and machines, wonderful showers on sight, and coaches who are nothing but supportive and resourceful to your questions about running and recovery. Can't recommend it highly enough.

If you want to be stronger on your runs, this is the place to go. Having control of the speed and time in a studio is much better than doing it at the track. Also, all instructors at the Mile High Run Club are on the money on the intervals class that they offer. They offer different classes, any one is good but my favorite is the distance. The studios have the right temperatures for these workouts. I greatly recommend.

The newest and fanciest MHRC studio! Everything is downstairs in the basement -- 1 large studio, large locker space, and the showers/bathrooms which are all unisex (different than the other MHRC locations where there are separate men's / women's locker rooms). Showerheads and stalls are super nice, and studios have all the towels, dry bags, hairdryers, etc., that you could need.

Instructors are also great, very friendly and happy to share their running advice. Will definitely be back!

I love MHRC's new studio! The layout of the showers and bathrooms is a so much better than the other 2 studios. The instructors are all amazing. They're always open to conversation and give great advice. The support staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a great place for any level of fitness/running.
