Great spot with super friendly instructors, awesome machines, and fun routines that vary depending on the instructor. This gym is for all levels with variations to help you go from zero to pilates hero! After a few months of consistently going my friends think I've gotten taller (but it's just that i'm finally standing with better posture due to looser and stronger muscles)!

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for months! I started going to Pilates here in November 2025, initially just hoping to get a bit more lean for my wedding. I never expected what would happen next. Consistently going to classes not only helped me tone up, but also made me happier. My mental health improved, I lost weight, and even my posture changed for the better.

My favorite instructor was Hunter — absolutely amazing energy, always encouraging, and gives such thoughtful feedback during class. Unfortunately (or fortunately!), I moved out of New York in July 2025 for my dream job, and I still haven’t found another studio like Mind Pilates. Truly a gem in Bushwick.

I’ve been coming to MindPilates for almost four months.
Most of my classes had been with Hunter and Daisy (❤️) and I really enjoyed every class. They are super kind and understand that some of us are new and take their time to explain what are we doing in class. I just started to book classes with Seneca and I like it also.
I feel that all of the instructors are committed with their class. They make corrections in your movements every time that it’s necessary. I really appreciate this.
All the machines are maintained well. Other implements as well. Space is clean all the time.
I would recommend the studio. For the people, locations, machines, space and vibes.

I tried my first Pilates class at Mind Pilates over a year ago , in search of a way to get fit to improve my surf strength. It was great to try out with the 3 for $75 package , I then liked classes here so much I began an 8 classes per month package and have been able to try every kind of class. All the instructors have different styles, I love to mix it up! I appreciate Daisy’s commitment and energy, Hunter’s enthusiasm and patience, Madeline’s drive and amazing morning playlists, the instructors there are all incredible! i'm so happy to be a part of Mind. as someone who has had a fraught relationship with exercise for her whole adult life, i can confidently say that attending classes for the last year or so at Mind has brought me so many emotional and physical benefits, even as a beginner.

while each instructor has a distinct teaching style, all of the classes are challenging, educational, and engaging, no matter who is guiding you. Madeline especially makes the 45 minutes fly by, and strikes a wonderful balance of a restorative practice and a killer workout, every time. she pushes you to be better and creates a supportive environment for everyone in the room. plus, her playlists are incredible, which makes it all the more fun. Christian, the new studio manager, is an angel and helped me with a tech issue on his *literal* first morning at work. even beyond the time spent on the reformer, the entire staff is excellent.

if you're on the fence, i couldn't recommend Mind more!

Took the Advcaned - Remix class with Hunter and it was everythinggg. The class was candlelit, which made the vibe so calming. His instructions were crystal clear and easy to follow, and he really helped guide us into deep, relaxing stretches while keeping us aware of our breathing. I left feeling totally reset—lighter, clearer and more grounded. Highly recommend!

I was very excited about testing out a pilates class here and using the reformer. Unfortunately, Madeline was rude and unwelcoming. I didn't bring grip socks. Madeline responded that the policy mentions we need grip socks. The way she responded made me feel like I was not the first customer to forget grip socks. When I didn't adjust the reformer correctly, Madeline told me I needed to listen. It would be helpful to teach people how to use machines they are unfamiliar with, and be patient with beginners. Madeline was teaching most of the class as if we all knew what we were doing. Also, kindness is legitimately free and easy. I will never retake one of her classes, and I am questioning if I want to sign up for this studio.

I started going to Mind Pilates back in March. I had never used reformers before. After my first class I felt so awesome I got a membership. All of the instructors are fantastic and there is variation between them and even within their own classes. I noticed, very quickly, how pilates changed my approach to other kinds of exercise. Not only is my form better for weight lifting (I’m in my 40s so have to) but I’m also lifting heavier now. My mobility, flexibility and endurance have improved as well. It’s an extremely welcoming and supportive space. Well worth the hike from Greenpoint to Bushwick <3 <3 <3

I’ve been coming to MindPilates for almost a year. All of the instructors are amazing especially Daisy and Hunter. They pay attention to each individual and take their time to offer corrections and suggestions.
This studio feels like a community and everyone is there to uplift each other.
This is a great place to unwind and get a great workout.
I recently hosted my birthday at the studio and every guest really enjoyed themselves as well.
My favorite class is the Open Level- Remix, for a full body workout.

I LOVE this studio! It’s the only pilates studio ive been to in brooklyn with cadillac reformers. love the instructors here and the pilates flow. the classes here are challenging yet doable. There’s classes last for less than an hour, which is great for busy people. There’s a lounge at the entrance for you to stay at while waiting for a class/after class. The studio also offers complimentary coffee (they have a nespresso machine!).

For amenities, they don’t have a shower, but they have a nice & spacious bathroom!

Also, don’t forget to bring your grip socks when you come here. But if you do forget yours, they sell socks at the studio.

In terms of pricing, i’d have to say they have really affordable rates for a pilates studio. Their first timer package has great value too, so i highly recommend getting that if you haven’t been to this studio yet.

I started at Mind Pilates as a way to get back into a workout routine. I knew at this point, a gum membership would be a waste of time as self-motivating is hard for me right now. As a former dancer, pilates sounded great.
I started with the 3/$75 intro offer and 3 classes in, I was hooked! I then bought a 20 class pack and can now say I am fully back into a workout routine! I have been coming 3-4 times a week on every day off I have. On work days when I can’t come, I seriously miss it!
In about 5 classes, I already felt stronger and that my posture is better! I can’t wait to see how my body keeps changing!

So happy to have this studio on the neighborhood. The machines are nice and have so many options. My favorite instructor is Hunter, I love his advanced class. He always does moved that I’ve never done and keeps it interesting, with a great focus on form. I am dying to do Jumpboard at this studio but the only classes on the schedule are for Mondays during the day, and I work a tradition M-F schedule in the office so that doesn’t work for me.

When I moved to Bushwick, I was 20 weeks pregnant and needed a pilates spot that could work with me now, through the end of pregnancy, and in my postpartum time period. This is such a great studio that is always willing to work with any parameters of each person. I love the variation of instructors and their styles. I am so happy I found this studio! On another note: My labor was barely 3 hours long, and I had the easiest recovery… Highly recommend sticking with Pilates through before, during, and after pregnancy!

Make sure to give your teacher a heads up if you need to leave right on time because in my experience they usually go over. They’re super nice about it and one instructor even offered to clean and reset the equipment for me.

I am a personal trainer, during my week my routine is basically traditional strength workout and cardio. I was looking for a class to incorporate on my routine to develop my core strength, flexibility and also something to relax my muscles in general. I found the perfect pilates studio in Brooklyn, I bought a package after my first class with them.
The studio is sooooo beautiful, clean, the instructors are super nice and knowledgeable, they take care of every single attendants at the salon, they correct our form and always give to us options if we can’t make an specific movement.
I go once a week because for my work and training program I don’t have enough time, but I am extremely happy to incorporate pilates on my routine every week. 10/10 highly recommended.

I've taken a lot of Pilates classes across the city and this is the only place that teaches WHY the form is so important and how to carry what you learn in class into normal life activities. I've tried about 10 different pilates studios/classes throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn and I can confidently say that Mind Pilates is my favorite. Though I am not new to pilates, this is definitely my first time with the reformer (& they're Cadillacs--rare to find!) and taking classes in-person. In that regard, as a newbie to this world, the Beginner-Remix classes have been a JOY! The owner, Daisy, is also such a welcoming and patient instructor and made the classes easy to follow while still challenging enough for a wonderful, all-around workout. I also greatly appreciated the calming ambience, cleanliness, and elegance of the studio in general.

Daisy and Hunter are amazing instructors, classes are perfect for all levels but I always feel challenged. I love their emphasis on form and alignment, I’ve seriously felt such a difference in my strength and posture after coming here for a few months. So many studios will make a class as intense as possible and force you through it while overlooking corrections that should be made, but I’ve never felt that at Mind and I really appreciate it. They take the time to teach and make adjustments. The space is calm and inviting, has top notch equipment, always clean, and now has a cute little espresso bar. Love them so much!!!

I recently moved near by and was looking for Pilates studio, I have tried so many Pilates studios. But this really stands out, Daisy is really nice and thoughtful instructor, I haven’t seen machines like this in any other studio, they are brand new and way more functional compare to old models. They are also always offer some kind of promotions. Now it’s my favorite studio in Bushwick/ Bed-Stuy. Highly recommended definitely worth a try!

I started doing Pilates because I sat in front of the computer for a long time at work, which caused me rounded shoulders and weight gained. I want to exercise more, improve my posture, and work my core and glutes. It really helps me stabilize my shoulders and hip girdle, preventing long-term damage to the body caused by incorrect posture. I want to give a big shout out to my instructor Daisy, who has been so patient and guided me every steps with great precision over the past 3 months. I have improved a lot and my body has transformed significantly because of her. The rounded shoulders are gone, and I always be aware of my posture and correct it right away.
