The best yoga studio in NY, I LOVE this place! The teachers are legendary, whether you like a kick-ass heart-pumping class that makes you feel like a rockstar (my fave) or the quietly challenging and technically informative class where I always learn something new even after 20 years of yoga (also my fave!) every class at New Love is a joy. And the cherry on top is the super friendly, welcoming, warm, supportive atmosphere - a true gem in the community. Oh and the retreat to Thailand was a trip of a lifetime with the added bonus of making friends in the neighbourhood. Vive NLC!

I started practicing at New Love when I moved to Greenpoint in 2019. I have the unlimited membership, which is about as good as it gets in NYC for price and value. The classes are challenging but welcoming across levels. Keela the owner cares so much about creating a welcome space and being part of the Greenpoint community.

I practiced at many NYC studios over the years before New Love City opened in 2015. I've been a member there ever since, and it is such a positive and grounding part of my life. The studio is such a joyful community itself, and it adds so much to our Greenpoint community as a whole. All of the teachers are great, and I'm thankful every time I walk up the stairs to take class.

Best studio on the planet. Impeccable vibes, somehow both zen and incredibly lively, classes that suit any and all levels, teachers are all stunning, kind, thoughtful and hilarious. The retreats are next level. I'm obviously obsessed, it's the perfect place. I wish I could rate it 100 stars.

I’ve been coming to New Love City for years, and it continues to be one of the most grounding spaces I know. The studio is warm, unpretentious, and full of heart—reminding me of what yoga spaces used to feel like before the era of branding and commercialization. Every teacher here brings real depth and kindness to their practice. New Love City is an authentic space with a true sense of community. If you’re new to Greenpoint and looking for a yoga studio, this is a neighborhood favorite for good reason.

NLC is my second home—I cannot recommend this beautiful studio enough! the teachers are incredibly welcoming—supporting all levels from beginner to seasoned students. the classes are always creative, and the music can’t be beat. whether you’re traveling by foot, by train, or by car, you can always rely on a mat/towel/water without an extra fee. this place is a gem and I feel lucky to share it with such an inclusive community.

New Love City is my home studio. I've been coming here 2-3 times a week for classes since 2016. The studio is lovely and welcoming because of Keela (Owner) and the world class teachers who truly know how to nurture community and hold space for all who come to practice. I chose to do my teacher training with NLC two years ago and would recommend it to anyone who wants to deepen their practice, take the first steps towards becoming teachers themselves, and get connected to a beautiful community of people.

NLC is a very special place. I've practiced yoga for many years and at a lot of different studios, but it wasn't until I found New Love that I found a place that felt like home. NLC has managed to find that sweet spot which means it feels welcoming, fun, and easy - the check-in area literally feels like your living room - but it's also a place that takes yoga - the physical practice, the history and traditions, the broader limbs that make yoga what it is - very seriously and respectfully. It means every teacher's class is different - a different playlist, a different pace / intensity, a different way of approaching sequencing - but all classes are incredibly thoughtful and nuanced, with cues that are precise and clear and helpful. I couldn't recommend NLC enough - for the yoga, the energy, and the community you'll almost certainly become a part of.

New Love City is the best yoga studio in Greenpoint!

A beautiful studio with great energy and natural light, here you will find advanced and experienced teachers making yoga accessible for practitioners of all levels. Each teacher has their own style and approach, so I recommend trying different teachers.

I feel so grateful to have found New Love City as my yoga home base. It's such a great community.

My relationship with New Love City is the most consistent I’ve ever had with a yoga studio or place of exercise. What makes it special are the teachers who are extremely skilled and just good and fun people. The space is also really nice. Can’t recommend it enough!

Love this studio so much!! I’ve been practicing here for 3 ish years and I still look forward to each new class. The space is clean, calming, filled with plants, and stepping into studio feels like a warm hug. All the teachers are incredible, they’re super knowledgeable, fun, and take the time to sure that every person is comfortable and cared for. This studio makes me feel like I’ve found my yoga community 🥰 in addition to classes, there are some really fun and helpful workshops, an extremely well thought out teacher training program, and many retreats throughout the year.

I can’t say enough good things about New Love City. I’ve taken classes, workshops, and even completed my 200-hour teacher training here, and every single experience has been incredible. The teachers are truly next level — knowledgeable, compassionate, and each bring their own unique style, all grounded in hundreds of hours of training. You can feel how much care and intention goes into every class. The music is always on point, the community is welcoming, and there’s a real depth to the practice here. If you're in Brooklyn and looking for a studio that will both challenge and support you — this is the place.

I've been a member at New Love City for the past 6 years, and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It quickly became such an important part of my life—not just for the yoga, but for the community.

Keela and all the instructors are incredible. They’ve helped my practice grow in ways I never expected, and their classes always feel thoughtful, welcoming, and just the right mix of challenging and grounding. I’m so grateful for this place and the people in it!

I’ve been a part of the New Love community since 2020, and it’s truly felt like an extension of home. There’s a genuine sense of belonging here—you’re welcomed exactly as you are. The teachers have an incredible ability to meet you where you’re at, offering the experience your mind and body need, whether that’s a softer, slower class, or a challenging, sweaty session.

Each class combines breath, technique, and body connection—with a good dose of fun. The teacher bios on the site are spot-on, so you always know what kind of vibe to expect.

I can’t recommend this neighborhood gem enough. It’s become such a staple in the Greenpoint community, and Keela does a phenomenal job of keeping it's integrity and making it a space where everyone feels welcome.

NLC is a wonderful studio! It's incredibly welcoming and warm, and there is a real focus on personal growth rather than just checking off poses. I always leave class feeling better, more relaxed, and stronger than I arrive. All the teachers are really fun, patient, and welcoming to new students.

Truly the best! New Love City is so much more than just a yoga studio—it's a really sweet, welcoming, and inclusive community that I'm incredibly grateful to be part of. It’s genuinely my happy place and always feel so held.. Every teacher has a unique style and killer playlists. Plus, their monthly membership is super affordable compared to other NYC studios and they include mats, water, and towels at no extra charge—which is practically unheard of in the city.

There aren’t enough complimentary words in the world to describe NLC! NLC has become my second home these last 5 years. It’s the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of life for an hour and just focus on yourself and your practice. The vibes are immaculate, the studio is gorgeous and all of the teachers are top notch!! Also where do you find mat, towels and blocks included?! Nowhere. Highly highly recommend!! ILY NLC 🖤🤍

I love this studio and their teachers. This studio is worth the commute (with two train transfers) from Queens. The lobby is inviting and has lots of plants and the studio feels very rustic, bright, and lively. The patrons are friendly and encouraging. The studio also has a library nook where you can borrow books on yoga, from yoga philosophy, to yoga history to yoga anatomy. I did a 200 hour teacher training here with Conor, Edie, Keela, Manzell and a bunch of other guest teachers. It was a transformative experience to say the least. If you’re thinking of getting your 200 hours, I would recommend NLC. You feel really cared and supported during the process while learning a lot about yoga and yourself. The teachers there also host really awesome yoga retreats. 5 out of 5 stars.

NLC is the best yoga studio in Greenpoint/Williamsburg! Folks come from south Brooklyn and Manhattan for class. Keela and her teachers are intelligent, creative, and strong. The community is so warm and welcoming, joining retreats feels just like hanging out with your closest friends. The space is stunning, and offers free mats and props. It’s no surprise that all my favorite people in have memberships here!

I have been taking Conor‘s Sunday morning, yoga class for the past month and I am so thankful to have truly found such a wonderful home to grow and practice. The studio set up, and equipment they provide, our top quality and I love the mix of athletic poses and deep spiritual connection that Conor‘s class provides. Highly recommend.

I moved to Greenpoint recently and was gonna try a few yoga studios to find my favourite, but this was the first place I tried and I never had to try another. Conor's classes were absolutely perfect for where I was and what I wanted: his long background in yoga, him interspersing teaching poses with dispensing spiritual tidbits, and a non judgemental attitude (as long as you don't injure yourself). Conor's classes are where you come when you want more than just yoga as a way to exercise. For one class, we just returned to breathing kapalabhati, and that was what was necessary.

New Love City has been my second home and yoga love of my life since the day the studio opened eight years ago. The teachers here are simply made of magic, each with their own style of practice. Whether you're after a sweaty, spicy, music-on-loud vinyasa or a sweet, almost-studious, cozy nestle into yin, there's space for you here.

Beyond the practice, the community feels like a zillion new pals the moment you step through the door. Because of the studio, I have made best friends, traveled the world, and found space to center in this wild city. ILY, NLC.

I had my first class here last week through ClassPass and it was a wonderful experience! The space is charming and full of pleasing aesthetic vibes. You can feel the sense of calm in the air. The instructor was welcoming and knowledgeable. The yoga was a relaxing, yet challenging flow just like I was hoping for. Honestly one of the best yoga studios I’ve been to in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area for a traditional yoga class (not hot yoga or HIIT yoga type class). Definitely recommend!

This is a new studio, so take everything with a grain of salt. First off, the space is Gorgeous. Capital G. So beautiful. Less appealing for me was the instructor. Just too fast for me. If you like fast vinyasa (most people in the class loved it), take Emily's class. She's good at what she does
