My son is in the high school Flex program, and IMHO Next Level is everything a strength and conditioning gym should be. All the trainers are positive and engaging, while pushing their clients to excel (Dan is the man!) Speed times, jumps and set weights are recorded by the client in an app so that progress can be objectively measured. Warm up and stretching are included and taken seriously - something that can be overlooked by other programs. The cost is more than reasonable as groups remain small, so personal attention is given to everyone. Three weeks in, and we are already seeing great improvements both mentally and physically. Highly recommend!

Joe has worked with our daughter, Lilly, since 8th grade. Well, it's hard to believe but Lilly has played her final college game this past Saturday. We couldn't say goodbye to this chapter without a HUGE thanks to you.

There is no doubt in our minds that your work with Lilly kept her healthy throughout high school AND college. We know this past summer was the first time in all those years she couldn't participate in your college group yet you had already given her the foundation and skill set to do this on her own. Not only for her high school and college sports but, you’ve given her life long, healthy skills to take care of herself. We are so grateful for all that you've taught her (and the other coaches at Next Level, too!)!!

While we are sad her team didn't make playoffs, we are also so happy that she played four years of college soccer with minimal injuries. Just to paint a picture, her team this year was decimated by injuries that included one ACL (on the first day of preseason), two meniscus injuries (that required surgery), ankle injuries, concussions, etc. Her preparation this spring/summer was exceptional and she learned a lot of this from you.

I started next level my senior year of High School and even in just one season, I felt myself getting a lot stronger and faster. I was in the high school flex training program and every coach was dedicated to helping me become a better athlete. The trainers are very knowledgeable. They correct any improper form and offer alternatives to any exercise if you have any limitations. They also like to challenge you in a positive way! I would highly recommend Next Level Strength and Conditioning. Our two kids have been attending their programs since middle school and for more than 6 years. Their training has been valuable for our children to build strength, develop speed, and condition their bodies for the sports they play. The strength and flexibility developed through Next Level has allowed our kids to remain healthy through some intense sports schedules. The classes are fun and they have always loved to attend, which has allowed them to develop a consistent workout routine over the years. The instructors are excellent and customer service is remarkable. They are the best strength and conditioning program in the area and we are grateful our kids have had the opportunity to train with them.

Our NL Roots "family" is a supportive group of individual committed to achieving their fitness goals while supporting and encouraging their fellow members. Next Level delivers excellence in all aspects; their staff is made of dedicated professionals with a solid background in knowing what is needed to build strength and conditioning. They are always there to make sure what is being done is correct and the best format for the individual. As someone who is an older participant, I appreciate the ability to work out with the group, scale as needed and continue to gain strength. Especially during the past year, we have always have a safe place to work out following CDC standards and protocols. My 11 year old son has been attending group lesson with his friends on our “remote” school days since October. Our original intent of attending these classes was simply to keep our son active on his home days. He has gotten so much more than a break from online learning from this program! He is physically stronger and his confidence has grown. This growth has been seen by his coaches outside of Next Level. He looks forward to his class each week. The boys go running in and come out with huge, sweaty smiles. Coach Moon has been so great with the group. We will definitely be continuing with Next Level as our son enters middle school.

My 14 year son (swimmer/volleyball) had a great experience at Next Level before the COVID shutdown. Then came the opportunity for remote training with Dylan - best thing ever! Dylan brings the workout equipment to the house and Ben gets 1:1 training outside in the front yard and driveway. Has been great for COVID shutdown (he cleans everything) and great too for working parents - no car pool necessary.

Outstanding facility and staff. Several members of our team were able to go for group training sessions there while our school facilities were closed. Next Level follows every safety protocol needed while providing top notch programming, instruction, and equipment. They have everything you could ask for in a training facility. We have tried other youth fitness programs that have been slow paced and boring for the kids(11 and 13). They experienced a lot of standing around led by mildly enthusiastic instructors. Next Level is different. The kids work hard, the instructors make it fun, and my boys love to go. The trainers seem to really care about the kids enjoying the experience and getting results.

My daughter enjoyed this gym and everyone who worked or interned there. It can be difficult for some teenagers to find places they feel accepted. This place is so welcoming, encouraging and result driven. They truly care about each person they work with and the detail and attention that goes into young athletes is amazing to see. We watched our daughter become stronger and more self confident because of this place and the staff. We moved out of state recently and the one big thing our daughter “wished she could take with her” was Next Level. After we moved my husband contacted Joe Aratari asking him for advice about gyms here in NC. He actually took the time to do research about gyms here that were most similar to Next Level. This place goes above and beyond and I am so grateful my daughter had the privilege of training there. We will miss it for sure! I can't say enough good things about Next Level Strength and Conditioning. It's better than any big box gym, fitness class, or DVD based workout I have ever tried. Going to Roots class is one of the highlights of my day.

A couple years ago I was getting tired of my same old gym routine. I was looking for some personal training to A.) improve my lifting form, and B.) learn some new exercises to change up my typical workouts. I was gifted personal training sessions with Coach Mike Moon at Next Level, and was thoroughly impressed with what he taught me and the work he had me do. After some time away, I recently came back to Next Level and started taking Roots classes to once again help with my lifting form and workout variety. I quickly found that all their coaches shared the same knowledge of the human body and the drive to make their clients stronger, healthier, happier people.

The workouts are constantly changing to focus on and strengthen different muscle groups. The coaches provide instruction on each exercise and can help modify them to accommodate various fitness levels or existing injuries. Class members support each other in a community atmosphere that encourages everyone to get better.

I highly recommend Next Level if you are interested in joining a gym for the first time, changing up your current workout routine, or just want to make a change to get healthier.

I have been working out at Next Level for three plus years. I know this sounds cliche but the staff has changed my life in so many positive ways.
STRENGTH - 3 years ago I couldn’t do a pull up. Now I regularly do weighted ones.
AEROBIC CAPACITY - at 53 years old I am able to hike, bike, run, play hockey and keep up with my three boys.
SLEEP- I have learned how to use breathing to sleep better and more consistently than I have since I was a kid.
EATING HABITS - a recent Next Level challenge has me more thoughtfully prepping my meals, eating smarter and slowing down so I actually taste my food!
HYDRATION - I now consistently drink 100 ounces of water daily. I feel satisfied without over eating.
FLEXIBILITY - the Next Level team has worked with me to greatly reduce the tight hip flexors that I have dealt with for decades.
KNOWLEDGEABLE, MOTIVATING and FUN - the entire staff have college degrees in fitness and physiology, etc.
COMMUNITY- I am blessed to have met some of my dearest friends, cheerleaders and accountability partners at Next Level.

I've been working out for years on my own: dvds, weights etc. Over the last 10 years, I've been plagued by injuries that would sideline my fitness goals. I would rest, start back up and repeat this cycle. 2 steps forward.... many backwards.
This summer I joined Next Level Strength and Conditioning's adult fitness classes since joining, I have increased my strength, flexibility and endurance without injury. The comaderie and support I received from my classmates and coaches has been incredible. My classmates are very encouraging regardless of your startinf fitness level.
The coaches are awesome and knowledgeable. They are specifically trained in functional movement - helping individuals increase capacity without injury. In addition they have fostered a culture of belonging and encouragement.
