Comfortable, clean, bright studio. I've LOVED my classes with Sarah Blackwell. She is an excellent instructor. And Nikyta Moreno is absolutely outstanding as an instructor. Wow.

I’ve been trying to find a Pilates studio in NYC since 2010. Believe me when I say, NM was worth the wait. The instructors are patient and kind. I’m 77 years old with lots of major surgeries, and they always make sure I’m doing everything right. This is the place to be if you want a reformer class. It’s the best 45 minutes you could spend on yourself!

Really like this place. I tried different Pilates studios in the area, and this one is the best. The instructors pay attention to you throughout the entire class.

Apparently, you have to buy $20 grip socks in order to be in the class... only reformer pilates class I've ever had that does that. Also, I arrived at 9:04 for my 9:00 class, because the directions were so confusing I spent 5 minutes wandering the street. Turns out it's inside of a karate studio, but nothing indicated that. The actual 200 West End is just a boarded up unit. Anyway, because I arrived at 9:04 (despite their cutoff technically being 9:05), they didn't let me in. The lady working at the front with short hair was very rude—when she came to me, it was obvious she had no intention of even trying to help me at all, not sure why! Definitely do not recommend, I've gone to many reformer pilates places on the UWS where they are much nicer and don't try to milk money out of you however possible.

As someone who is new to Pilates, the teacher made me feel comfortable. She came around and helped adjust my form, which was really helpful. Jump board class was really fun! Overall clean studio and welcoming staff.

I’m not sure why some people felt the need to give this business 1 star based off not bringing grip socks, they’re mandatory for every Pilates class!
The studio is very clean and well kept. They use allegro machines and well trained teachers. My favorite studio so far in UWS

My wife arrived at the studio using a class pass. According to their extensive policy, mentioned that grip socks are required, but she missed that. When she got there, they "offered" to sell her a pair of socks for $20!. What started as a beautiful morning ended in tears. Thank you, NM Studio.

Showed up for class and was told I had to buy grip socks to take the class. Was not made aware of this beforehand and was told to either buy the socks or lose my money.

Enjoyed my beginners reformer class. It’s in a building called “OMNE martial arts….”

This is a wonderful little studio and I'm so glad we have this offering on the UWS now. It's super chic and has a relaxing vibe. I've enjoyed the classes led by Sarah and look forward to learning more about pilates as I go more often!

Really enjoyed the introductory class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and worked well with those with little to no experience.
