Nofar Method advanced full body workout divided into 25 minutes on the Reformer and 25 minutes on the Cadillac. Nofar Method is the result of years of research for the safest and most effective, comfortable, and sustainable exercise plan. The Nofar Method ties together cardio, strength training, and the most challenging elements of Pilates. It teaches body awareness, good posture, and graceful movement using classic Pilates equipment and principles coupled with contemporary props and exciting, fun choreography.
Nofar Method is for people who tried classic Pilates before and are now looking for something more. Nofar Method will take your Pilates practice to the next level.

MUST take class with Javier!! Incredibly challenging but you can do it. The studio is gorgeous and so cozy. You spend half the class on reformer and the other on the Cadillac. You will get stronger!! One of my favorite workouts in the city.

I came all the way from Long Island to try this workout today after seeing incredible reviews on Instagram. I have always wanted to try the Cadillac, and it's virtually impossible to do so in a group setting.
As it was my first time, I was definitely intimidated by the machine at the start. However, my incredible instructor Elizabeth introduced herself to me at the beginning of class and ensured me that the machine is harder than it looks! The Cadillac part of class was challenging -- I was a little nervous that I might fall when we did the lunges but Elizabeth's cueing was phenomenal. Who knew that sticking your tongue to the roof of your mouth helps you balance!
The reformer part was nothing short of what I'm used to at my Long Island studio. Challenging, but doable. The props definitely are fun to use too, like the 3 pound weight balls. Compared to the megaformer, the reformer was a little different, having to add the platform and the box.
The workout was great and the hype is real! Nofar method was amazing, and thank you Elizabeth for making my first experience wonderful! Can't wait to hopefully be back soon.

I live out on Long Island and had the day off on June 19th so I thought it would be a good opportunity to finally try Nofar after seeing it all over social media. It was very easy to register and pay for the class online. When I got to the studio the person behind the desk was very friendly and answered all my questions. The facility was easy to find and navigate. My instructor was Elizabeth Billeter and she was amazing. Before class she came over to me to cover all the important things and ask if I had injuries. Even though I’m familiar with Pilates, Elizabeth made sure to help me out on the unique aspects of Nofar. It was my first time using a Cadillac and again Elizabeth was supportive the whole time. I really enjoyed the experience and will be taking another class when my schedule allows.

I figured it was time to finally write a review, today marks three years since I started taking classes at Nofar Pilates, and I can confidently say it has changed my body. I’m in the best shape of my life and feel stronger than ever.
What sets the Nofar Method apart is the exceptional quality of the instructors. I’ve taken classes with every single one, both in Tribeca and Flatiron, and not once have I encountered a class that felt average. Each teacher is incredibly skilled, motivating, and genuinely kind. They know how to push you just the right amount while still creating a warm, encouraging atmosphere.
The front desk staff is also consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the entire experience even better.
Nofar Pilates has truly become an essential part of my life, and my health, and I can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve been a loyal client at Nofar since 2021, mostly at Flatiron and occasionally at Tribeca. The workouts are consistently great, especially with Chris, Nofar, and Antonio and the space is clean and thoughtfully designed.
Unfortunately, the overall experience has declined. The studio has become increasingly crowded over the last few years and the clientele has shifted noticeably.
Recently, a personal item of mine was stolen from the communal area where we all leave shoes, bags, and jackets.
The studio did offer a complimentary class - while I appreciate the gesture, it still felt like a frustrating and unresolved situation. For a studio that positions itself as premium, it’s disappointing to walk away feeling like your belongings aren’t safe.

What a transformative experience! Beautiful, well-maintained Balanced Body equipment in a tranquil space. Pleasant and professional front desk staff. Splitting the class between reformers and the Cadillac is as close to a multi-apparatus private session as you can get minus Chair (an excellent value). Our Instructor Chris Taruc was motivating and enthusiastic! Fun music choices, and just the right mix of verbal, visual, and tactile cues. The method incorporates functional movements: squats; 1-leg RDL’s . . . Everyone in our group received a personalized, athletic experience. This is my new Pilates go-to on my training recovery days: I cannot wait to come back!

I was incredibly impressed with my visit to the studio! The space has such a calming, uplifting vibe, and the class was perfectly paced from start to finish. I always leave a Nofar class feeling taller, stronger, and more relaxed! The classes are such a dynamic blend of stretch, strength, and cardio. I've struggled with back pain over the years, and since starting with these pilates classes, I've had no sign of back pain, plus I actually see and feel my core getting leaner in stronger! Very clean and nice studio. I went twice and had very different experience each time. Last time I went, it was actually a really good pilates class. The instructor was great, exercises were challenging and I left feeling like I had a very good workout.
Today, I did not love the instructor and his exercises- on the Cadillac most exercises were using the springs and the ropes with our legs in the ropes or the springs. First, its very difficult to put your legs in the spring with your legs wide open and then trying to lie down .. it was bit much and i just really preferred the other instructor a lot more. The instructor also kept saying “think about dinner tonight” throughout the class. I just found it a little odd for the class setting.
Both days, i felt like it was definitely more challenging pilates than other studios for sure
Overall, the studio is clean, exercises leave you feeling a little sore after (which is good) and the location is great!
I think once you find the instructor you like, just stick to the person you like.

Nofar Method is the best pilates studio in NYC, hands down. I look forward to class each day. Each class is challenging and never the same. I go multiple days in a row and continue to work new muscles (some I didn’t even know I had!). The teacher’s are all excellent - they take the time to learn your name, ensure your form is correct, and truly welcome you into the the Nofar family. The *best* Pilates studio. I’ve tried so many, and found that NoFar is the only one that actually gets me results. It’s challenging but also calming. Every instructor is great but my faves are Kine, Chris and Antonio. A little pricey but totally worth it if you want to get toned and feel good.

This studio has transformed my body AND mind! I’ve been coming here consistently for over a month now and it is the best. It pulled me out of my slump and I get so excited to go to each class. The premise of the Nofar Method is amazing, utilizing both the reformer and cadillac. The instructors are also so so nice and never rude or judgmental, as you might see in other studios. Nofar Method is by far the best Pilates studio I've ever been to. They now have 2 locations, one in Tribeca and the flagship in Flatiron, both studios are beautifully structured, aesthetically pleasing, have a good energy and very inviting. This is definitely an advanced version of Pilates that really works if you are truly committed and willing to put in the work. I've been coming regularly for about 6 months now and definitely see changes not only in my body but in my form and strength. My absolute favorite instructors are Kara, Brooke and Antonio. They're all amazing in their own ways! I definitely recommend to anyone who's interested in starting their Pilates fitness journey.

I can't say enough positive things about the Nofar Method. After herniating a disc in my back in 2021, I knew I needed to find a program that would help strengthen my body while helping to bring back my joy and love for fitness. I found all of that in the Nofar Method. Nofar and the instructors at the studios are AMAZING. The classes are challenging yet organized in a way where you step out of the class feeling great.
I also had the pleasure of joining Nofar, Javier, & Andrea on a Pilates retreat in Mexico in November 2022. The retreat far exceeded my expectations. Nofar has a unique energetic spirit that brings people together through fitness and joy for life. It was an incredible experience that left me feeling stronger and happier.
I highly recommend Nofar and her Pilates Studios. They are bar-none the best in the city.

After a major surgery, this challenging, low-impact workout has accelerated my recovery and left me stronger.
All of the instructors are fabulous but Nofar herself is an absolute legend. (Honorable mentions to Brooke and Javier who have also been so supportive on my recovery and fitness journey.)
After 2-4 classes a week for about four months, I feel (and see) a difference in my overall body composition. It’s also given me confidence to try more strenuous classes. But I always find myself back here and can’t wait to try the new Tribeca studio!

Let’s start with the teachers here - they are all incredible, personal and make sure to push you when needed. I was very much looking forward to trying this studio, as two of my girlfriends go religiously. I had signed up the other day to go with one of them, but woke up having to go to the doctor. I was diagnosed with bronchitis (which is contagious). I called the studio to let them know (not sure if I spoke to the owner). Fully aware that this would be my first time coming to the studio (I would understand if I had been before, but I am a first time client), I let them know the details of my illness & offered to provide a note from the doctor. They told me I would automatically lose the $40 for the class, not receive a credit (I didn’t want a refund, just a credit to come another time since I had never been before. Normally places would say sure, but has to be used within 2 weeks, etc). When I told her I will come anyway despite being contagious & feeling sick, she told me that it was fine. I find that truly bizarre, as that is putting your other clients at risk. I have my own business & work in sales/client facing industries, & just find this to be a very strange policy, especially as we are getting out of a Pandemic. As a first time client I don’t understand why an exception for a credit wouldn’t be made. It is not about the money here, it is about the principal. If I had to cancel a second time or had been to the studio before, then I get it. But wow, not great or safe circumstances here. Hate when NYers lose sight of sensibility like this because they have too big of a following & just don’t care. Very disappointed, as I was hoping to make this place a new staple as well as recommend it to my clients & friends. The $40 would have been better spent donating to Ukraine.

Would like to let you know that I ended up testing + with COVID & it wasn’t bronchitis; I just wasn’t testing + yet that day. Imagine if I had come to the class as you said I still could come? Nofar has changed my life. My body totally changed just after 6 classes. I am 100% addicted now and go about 3/4 times a week. Nofar and Chris are my favorite instructors because they constantly push me to keep up throughout class with tough love (I’m on a wedding bod mission) :) I’ve never been a person who works out often because I’ve never found anything I truly enjoy doing, but now that has changed. Absolute FAVE! Have been to what feels like every pilates studio in NYC and LOVE the Nofar Method and Nofar and her team. Clean facility. Loved that there was room between the reformers for full leg circles. There is a bathroom where you can get changed but not a separate changing room. The class was fun and challenging. The class i attended only had experienced people; not sure if it would be the best for first timers (but I feel like the instructors were definitely experienced enough to adjust if needed). I would recommend!!
