I signed up for the guaranteed weight loss program and was assigned to Chris...he's the best! Together we have climbed my uphill battle of weight loss. He motivates me and pushes me to be my best. Between the nutrition counseling and fitness training, I have since lost inches, toned and gained muscle...I feel great! I feel so great that I am now training to run in the upcoming turkey trot in Nov. with another great trainer, Alex. Peak Performance is not just a gym/rehab facility, it's a family affair. The fitness team is outstanding! Everyone is friendly and there to help you achieve your fitness/rehab goals. I almost forgot say how great Paul, the fitness director is! I worked with the exercise physiologist Paul and the fitness team to get my RMR, and VO2 Max testing done - and they were all a great help. They go a step further than any other testing facility I have worked with on Long Island and give you a training program along with your results to improve your metrics. A few years ago I sustained shoulder injuries and, for a time, I honestly thought I’d never be able to get in the gym again. After some PT, I decided to try working out with a personal trainer. I worked with Titus who turned out to be a great coach. He was friendly, patient, and knows how to work with people with injuries. My main goals were strength training and weight gain and over the past 2 years Ive worked with him Ive seen progress in both. I have had an incredible experience with the Guaranteed Weight Loss Program at Peak Performance Fitness! I have been Strength Training and getting Nutritional Counseling from Titus Tom, an excellent personal trainer at Peak Performance Fitness. I thought I would only stay for 20 sessions but I am now on my 3rd set of 20 sessions and it's time and money well spent! My trainer Titus is always prepared with a personalized routine that varies but helps me build towards my goals of strength and weight loss. I am impressed with Titus' extensive knowledge of body mechanics and nutrition. I have worked out with other trainers at other gyms but I have never had a trainer who can address my physical limits so I don't injure myself. The program provides tests like the Body Composition Analysis along with print outs of personalized routines I can continue doing to master my own health.I am making great progress and I am learning how to love working out.

I have been exercising at Peak for 8 weeks now. From the very first phone call with Paul, I felt comfortable. He explained the entire program answered all of my questions without being rushed.
I was assigned to Jalen, the nicest, most polite young man. Jalen has been so understanding of my issues (psoriatic arthritis) and my limitations. Jalen made sure he learned about my issue before we even met. From the first day on I have been very comfortable, Jalen has patience with me and truly cares.
Everyone in the facility knows your name and is always happy to greet you with a high five and a smile!

I started working with my trainer Chris on a weight loss program in roughly August 2023. With his help, I have lost close about 40 lbs while maintaining steady muscle mass over the course of the last ~8 months, bringing me much closer to a healthy weight. The weight loss program is a holistic diet & exercise approach. I was given a food diary, and we would go over it regularly to refine my diet. Cardio exercises were assigned and regularly updated as my fitness improved and I could handle more intensive workouts. I also received multiple weight training sessions a week, which taught me how to do well-balanced strength exercises to ensure I wasn't losing muscle mass during weight loss. I received body measurements (weight, circumference measurements, skin fold measurements, etc) every couple weeks to measure progress. I found it very helpful to keep me accountable and have supervised instruction, and have continued training with Chris after the initial weight loss program. This has been a massive benefit to my health, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in a similar position.

I’ve had such a positive experience with the Personal Training and Weight Loss Program at Peak Performance. My exercise physiologist Alex created an amazing individualized program based on my personal goals, observing and evaluating my baseline strength and cardio ability, and analyzing the results from my data. Alex increased the intensity and challenges of the program as I showed progress, while also making sure I always kept proper form to avoid injuries. The personal training with Alex, combined with the independent program he created for me and the ongoing nutritional consult resulted in a 15 pound weight loss in 8 weeks. I lost 5% body fat and am down 3 clothing sizes. This healthier lifestyle helped me avoid needing blood pressure and cholesterol medication. Coming to Peak made me a stronger, healthier, more energetic, and much happier person. I have a much better mindset about exercise and nutrition and now I love coming to the gym. I started at Peak Performance Fitness around the summer of 2023. I started working with Exercise Physiologist Alex to pass the police agility physical exam, NYPD Job Standard Test, and the Corrections Officer Physical Exam. The exams required 28 push-ups, 38 sit-ups under 1min and 1.5 mile run under 12:30. When I started at Peak I couldn't even do 1 push-up, barely 30 situps, and struggled with getting to a mile. Working with Alex, I was able to pass all of the requirements of the exams by October. Thanks to Peak, I can now do 30 push-ups, 40 situps, and run 1.5 miles in 11 minutes.
In addition to passing all of my physical fitness tests, I was able to lose 16lbs in bodyweight and 4% body fat as well. Peak is a warm and welcoming environment, and I recommend it to anybody trying to improve their fitness!

I am a 70year old patient at Ivy Rehab due to a severe fall Needing PT for extended time due to my injuries.

I joined the weight loss program at Peak Fitness a few months ago. Not having exercised in a long time, I was nervous about joining a gym and feeling out of place. I was happy to find a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is very friendly and takes the time to remember your name.
I have been training and having weekly nutritional consultations with Titus, one of the exercise physiologists, since I started coming here. Titus immediately made me feel comfortable. He is not only professional but also personable and easy to get along with. He has taken the time to get to know me and understand my goals. He motivates and pushes me to succeed during my workouts with exercises I didn’t think I was capable of doing, yet knows when my body needs rest. He has created a personalized program for me and adjusts it as I continue to improve. So far I have lost over 15 pounds and 5% body fat.
This program has provided me with the guidance and structure I need to succeed. I look forward to continuing my journey at Peak Fitness. He designed a custom program for me and is always switching things up so I stay interested and don’t get bored. He even convinced me to run a 5k which I ended up winning 1st place for my age group. I have been going to Peak Performance in Lynbrook for about 1 year. All the exercise physiologists are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and the environment is extremely welcoming. People of all ages and fitness levels work out and greet you with smiles. We had a terrific experience at peak performance. Our 10 year old son plays travel soccer at an academy. He did a few months of sports specific training at Peak Performance.
His exercise physiologist, David, was absolutely spectacular. He related well to our son. He taught him different stretches. They worked on strength training and injury prevention biomechanics. Our son wanted to do 2 hours session on the weekends! That’s how much he enjoyed the sessions. He didn’t want to stop training with David.
The entire fitness team was great to interact with. Paul was especially good at staying in touch and always following up with answers to my questions.
We have also tried a speed school in the area and we feel that the sports specific training at Peak performance is way superior. Our son enjoyed the sessions at Peak a lot more. The sessions at peak were especially better at focusing on strength training with close attention to injury prevention. The other speed school focused less on injury prevent and our son often left that place with minor muscle strains.
Thank you David and Paul. You guys were terrific. We will be back in the future.

Peak Performance’s Guaranteed Weight Loss Program is the complete package! I recently finished the 12-week program and was able lose over 45 lbs. The exercise physiologists, Paul and Alex were amazing and so supportive with helping me with my weight loss goals and in creating a healthier lifestyle. I was able to meet with Alex weekly to help customize an exercise and nutritional program that worked for me. We were constantly reevaluating my progress each week and he was able to support me with the challenges that came my way with eating and exercise.

I signed up for the 3 month guaranteed weight loss program. Paul and Alex were my trainers and they created workouts that were challenging, yet appropriate for my ability level. Both were always attentive, friendly, and patient and offered easy-to-understand instructions on how to fix my form to avoid any injury. Before Peak Performance, I didn't look forward to going to the gym, but now I do look forward to my training sessions with Paul and Alex as each session is different and engaging.
By the end of the program, I lost 15 lbs and 7.6% body fat. I didn't think I would actually reach that number, but thanks to Paul and Alex's guidance, I met my goal. I've tried Orange Theory Fitness, Weight Watchers, and YouTube workouts before for 1-3 months. However, I never got the same kind of results that I got from the weight loss program at Peak Performance Fitness. I'm really happy with my results and I would highly recommend this program to anyone who needs that extra motivation, structure, or accountability to get into better shape.

In March 2021 I was feeling out of shape, lacking in energy and quite a bit older than my 73 years - I believed I was heading in a downward trajectory. Something had to be done but what?
I considered joining a local gym but the memory of a long past “training“ experience made me hesitate. How would a commercial gym address my age and poor condition?
Then I remembered my close friend, in her mid-80s, who continues to snowshoe and cross country ski. She has worked out at Peak Performance and Fitness under Paul’s gentle and effective guidance for years.
I decided to commit to Peak even though it meant a 30 minute drive from my house. The gym is clean, well-maintained with modern equipment. At the heart of Peak is the fitness team of college educated physiologists. They are all pleasant, patient and extremely knowledgeable in the mechanics of the body. When I started training with the beautiful and inspirational Louise I was barely able to pedal the exercise bike for five minutes to warm up.
Louise planned our sessions to increase, not only my strength and endurance, but also my balance and posture. Very critical components of healthy aging!
And training at Peak has been fun as well as effective. In the fall I began training for the Massapequa turkey trot as part of Team Peak. In December we participated in the “reindeer games” weekly challenge. There is a unique feeling of community at peak fitness!
My decision a year ago has been truly life-changing. I notice the difference in myself - no pain in my hips during long car drives, energy to keep up with my athletic grandsons and a feeling of confidence. Life is better! It has been the best investment I have made in myself!

Although I rarely write reviews I felt it was necessary to do so to let others knows how incredible Peak Performance Fitness is. To call it is a gym is actually a disservice. It is so much more. Peak Fitness is a gym with top notch equipment and very clean and sanitized (so important in our Covid world) but is a center where everyone feels comfortable and part of a team. The trainers are all college graduates and are exercise physiologists who are not only trained and qualified but friendly and positive people who love motivating their clients and helping them achieve their best. The manager is excellent and is caring and not only knows everyone by name but also knows their individual goals. He is always responsive to questions and concerns. Peak is not a gym where you are a number that signs in. You feel at home here. When I joined years ago I was out of shape and looking for a place to improve my health and more importantly a place I would feel comfortable going to. I also needed a program. I found this in Peak. I met with an amazing trainer every week for a long time while working out myself on other days with a plan set up for me. But even after I discontinued training the trainers and manager still kept tabs on me and continue to advise me and help me reach my goals. I cannot say enough positive things about Peak and highly recommend it!

I’m one of those folks who not only doesn’t write reviews, I don’t believe more than half of what I read. If you’re like me, grab an adult beverage and read this one. Here’s my story:
I’ve been overweight for decades. I have done WW(2x), Nutri-System, and a hospital supervised weight loss program. I would lose a few pounds and gain them right back + more. I didn’t know the term at the time, I was yo-yo dieting. (Growing up in Brooklyn in the 50’s Yo-Yo meant something else) Looking at doctors notes, I was in the category of morbidly obese. During the period of November 2020 to May 2020 I was rehabbing two shoulder replacement surgeries at IvyRehab. (I will be doing another Google Review about how wonderful they are) During this time (Covid) I basically lived by moving from bed to recliner to bed. Some days I never left the recliner at all. I gained 15 pounds. I was so well treated by IvyRehab that I took a chance on Peak Fitness. I’m so very happy and proud I did.
Peak Fitness offered a ”Guaranteed Weight Loss Program”. “Well, here’s a place where I can get my money back when I don’t lose weight,” I thought. WRONG! In three months I lost over 21 pounds and inches off my body. The FitnessTeam is terrific, the Nutritionist put me on a food program based on science and my Exercise Physiologist crafted an ever changing schedule based on my limited physical abilities and crazy work schedule. The staff here is warm, welcoming, empathetic and really cared about me.
So, if you’ve gotten the impression that I like Peak Fitness, I do and so does my doctor! And… I’m signing up again to lose even more, because
this time I know the only thing I will lose is weight and inches.

I'm so happy I returned to Peak Performance. I had a a lot of apprehension to return with Covid still lingering and I got used to working out at home. The Manager, Paul, convinced me to try a workout for one day to observe the safety protocols they had in place. I just have one word to say about peak fitness. BRANDON! I had my brothers wedding shortly after I had my son (3 months) and I wanted to look sort of normal for the wedding. That is why I started with Brandon. Now I can’t imagine stopping- it’s an addiction. Brandon makes working out fun! (And for someone who despises working out- that’s saying something!). Brandon also makes sure your nutrition is on point and gives you ways to fix your unhealthy eating habits. Have used this facility for both my kids when their Doc recommended that they do Physical Therapy. Place is good sized. Efficient staff and more importantly, both kids have gotten help/assistance with their issues. Small parking lot but if you have patience you will get a spot.

Terrific experience at peak performance fitness! I did the advance ACL rehab program after ACL surgery at Peak Performance.
Paul was terrific with setting up the program. Before enrolling I spoke with him at length about the program. He spent a lot of time answering all my questions. He was also very flexible with rescheduling me at short notice for various reasons (snow, late day at work..etc).
My trainer was OUTSTANDING! I rehabbed with David. He did a great job of starting me out with exercises that were appropriate for where I was with my rehab. He advanced at a great pace. He clearly had put thought into the plan and order of exercises that we did. He was outstanding at explaining how to do the exercises and how I can benefit from each exercise. Not only did I get my legs stronger, I also learned a lot about exercising/training from David. This place is amazing and David is terrific!
I also noticed that the other trainers seemed equally as excellent as David. They all were friendly and helpful even though they weren't working with me directly. If you need advanced training, you absolutely need to consider this place. If you are recovering from ACL surgery you absolutely need to do the Advanced ACL repair program. My leg strength and Range of motion improved dramatically after this program.

I enrolled in the Weight Loss program at Peak in Dec 18' and was lucky enough to pair up with Brandon as my Personnel Trainer and Nutrition Advisor. I lost 24 pounds in the 12 week process and plan to achieve my goal of 180 pounds with exercise and good eating habits that I learned from Brandon. The education I received on balancing (Good) Proteins and Carbs has changed the way I eat. The combination of exercise and nutrition is a new way of life for me and I highly recommend this program if your serious about getting back in shape the healthy way.

I joined Peak's Fitness Program two months ago and have been very happy with the way I'm starting to look and feel. I chose their Weight Loss Program, but they have a variety of work out programs, depending on what you are trying to accomplish. All of the staff are courteous and helpful and my trainer, Julian, is absolutely the best! He motivates me and tailors my workouts to suit me perfectly. I am excited about how much stronger I am feeling already! The gym has the latest equipment and the trainers have so many different workout options, you never get bored! Most importantly, the place is immaculate. I would definitely recommed this gym to anyone looking to improve their health.

These guys helped me learn the best forms of exercise to achieve my goals and set benchmarks to be able to measure progress. If you are serious out your making your workouts the most efficient they can be, then you need to talk to these guys about RMR and VO2 testing. They can give you hard numbers for what you can eat and how hard you need to workout, to reach your objects. What I liked best is they provided a supportive and safe environment where my objects where the understood and my safety was a priority. If you are serious about your exercising then go see these guys for some benchmark testing!

I highly recommend Peak Performance Fitness to anyone who is looking to lose weight and/or live a healthier lifestyle. Last Fall I received a gift certificate for 5-weeks of personal training & fitness at Peak Performance Lynbrook. After putting it aside for 6 months, I finally decided to use it. Being someone who has never incorporated exercise into their lifestyle, and who finds most gyms intimidating, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full gym attended by men & women of all different ages and experience. I met with a Personal Trainer (Tyler- who is awesome!) and we scheduled once weekly sessions. Tyler has been really good about customizing sessions to meet my specific needs and pushing me (gently) when I’m tired and want to give up. He also makes me laugh, even when I’m doing lunges, which is saying something. After the first 5-weeks I decided to renew for another 5 weeks and increased my training to 2-sessions per week. During this time I also went to Peak every day to do Cardio. There is always a machine available, and I’ve had fun getting to know some of the other gym members. After ten weeks I’ve lost 13 lbs. and multiple inches; not only do I look better, but I feel better too. I am eating healthier and am more energized. Joining Peak Performance Fitness has literally changed my life, and I would, without hesitation, recommend Peak to anyone looking for a place to exercise or train.

I can't say enough about how joining Peak has changed my life for the better. I started going to Peak a little over a year ago because I wanted to gain weight and muscle mass. I was always scrawny and I had an incredibly difficult time gaining weight - even gaining a pound felt like an insurmountable challenge. Being a guy, this wasn't the way I wanted to look. I was fortunate enough to have Tyler as a personal trainer. He's absolutely the best in the business! He taught me how to balance eating right and lifting to gain weight in a healthy way. Tyler has a knack for being able to get the most out of you while also making you feel like you're in a comfortable, low pressure environment. I gained more weight in the past year than I had in the ten years before combined. I've never felt better. It all starts with motivation and a great trainer.

Peak Performance Fitness has changed my life. I've lost 30 lbs and discovered muscles I didn't even know I had. My Exercise Physiologist, Corynne, continues to challenge me every week with new workouts. She and the rest of the staff are wonderful - helpful, and knowledgeable. I've learned so much about my body and the way to live a healthy life. I've also made many new friends as the clientele are great. There's a great mix of young and old, all with the same goals. Trainers in the fitness program have Master Degrees in Exercise Science. Pam Geisel became my husband's Exercise Physiologist at Peak Performance Fitness. She has averted him from depression because of her encouragement and sound advice on how to walk with a walker. Norman has gained confidence in his ability to balance and strength in his muscles, because of the exercise routine she has built for him. Combining rehabilitation with gym fitness has given him a better quality of life.

Joined Peak Performance fitness center four years ago and it has been an awesome & fun experience. The trainers are the absolute best - very knowledgable, helpful & friendly, and attentive to my needs. The equipment is top notch and the facility is spotless.
