About the Club

I teach private movement sessions using the tools of contemporary pilates, weight training, breathing exercises, and myofascial release to help you become stronger, better aligned, and more organized in your body and movement patterns. I specialize in working with individuals with hypermobility, spinal issues, hip pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, osteoporosis, kyphosis, and prenatal and post partum clients.

Marci is a practitioner at the very top of her field! I am a movement teacher and have had the opportunity to experience both yoga & pilates with Marci. Working with Marci over the past 3 years has been one of the greatest exercise experiences I have had. Marci is phenomenal! She is very pleasant and most importantly super effective with her technique. I came to her a few months postpartum with back and leg pain and a very weak core. She met me exactly where I was physically and working together over the past two months I already feel soooo much better! She is super detail oriented and focused on understanding the root cause of the problem and helping you fix it during the session and with homework. I always look forward to our sessions. I can’t recommend Marci highly enough!

I have known Marci for several years as a thoughtful and engaging teacher of chair yoga. Recently we both recognized I might benefit from one-on-one attention in private Pilates sessions. Marci as a Pilates instructor is amazing! She investigated my concerns and proceeded to focus our work on the specific areas of my body where I had pain, weakness and balance problems. I highly recommend prenatal Pilates with Marci to anyone looking to ease pregnancy aches and pains and also build strength for birth and beyond. She is a wonderful teacher and offers thoughtfully choreographed sessions - a perfect mix of strength and stretching. She explains each exercise clearly and offers personal modifications. Working with Marci weekly strengthened my pelvic floor, relieved my extreme back pain, and in general supported my changing body in each stage of pregnancy. Marci’s prenatal pilates classes are just fantastic!

Marci is one of the best! An excellent instructor with a strong understanding of the body and how to translate that expertise into very effective workouts.
