Pilates Forward really stands out from the many studios in New York. Leeju is very attentive and precise. She takes the time to understand your body and gives clear verbal cues and hands-on corrections that make a real difference. Particularly as a beginner, I’ve really appreciated learning proper form and technique. After just a few months, my neck, shoulder, and back pain have improved noticeably!

An excellent place to learn pilates with proper form and technique. I’ve taken other pilates classes before, but the attention to detail to form and method is nowhere close to Pilates Forward. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: I just recently started Pilates and I’m so thankful that I found Leeju’s studio. I come from a background of team sports and martial arts, and my body had years of imbalances from overusing certain areas.

Only after a few sessions at the Pilates Forward studio I began to regain some of the range of motion and circulation that I didn’t even know was holding me back. Leeju is a patient and cheerful teacher, she took the time to get to know my goals and tailor a plan for me.
