We are a Contemporary Pilates studio located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We offer contemporary Pilates sessions on the Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair, TRX suspension training, as well as small group classes using or patented method of overhead bungees, resistance bands and Pilates equipment. We focus on helping you build a stronger core and mind body connection to live a better, stronger, more active lifestyle.
ChaiseFitness is a mother- daughter founded, comprehensive, friendly studio where you can explore and challenge your body with unique and tried and true fitness methods. New client specials available for private sessions and classes.

I recently started going to ChaiseFitness, tried several different group class formats and enjoyed all of them. They are fun, challenging, and super creative! For example, the Strength Chair class combines barre-style pulse and burn with Pilates-style precision and control. I love the small group class size too.

I highly recommend Chaise Fitness for Pilates. Iβve been taking private lessons for nearly a year, and the instructors are consistently professional, friendly, and experienced. The front desk team is organized and proactive, sending helpful reminders to keep you on track with scheduling. Chaise offers an excellent experience for all levels of Pilates.

Absolutely love this studio! I was just visiting the city on business and happened to walk by and I'm so glad I decided to stop in. Everyone here is AMAZING from the sweet front desk staff to the incredibly knowledgable instructors! Will absolutely be back when I'm back in the city and will be telling my friends!!

The studio charged my card without consent.
They refuse to help resolve the situation.
There is barely anyone in their classes because they treat clients so poorly.
Donβt go- overpriced and fraudulent, and if you go make sure you donβt leave your credit card details until after the class

Adding Chaise to my exercise circuit has been my best fitness move of 2024. I believe that clients skew female but as a 62 year old guy looking to work on strength, balance, and flexibility, Chaise is perfect for me. I hope to be doing out for decades!

Iβve been a regular at Chaise Pilates Studio since 2018, and I can't say enough good things about this place! All the instructors are not only highly skilled but also incredibly personable, making each session fun. During my pregnancy, the private sessions were a lifesaverβthey helped me stay active and ultimately made a big difference in my labor process. I particularly enjoy the group classes like BandSculpt and Reinvention Chair; they challenge me in the best way possible, and I always leave feeling more in tune with my body. Highly recommend!"

This is the studio I recommend to everyone! Their instructors are amazing and it is true boutique fitness at its best. You can be at any level to benefit and enjoy this unique workout. The on demand classes are fantastic! I feel like I am there: they are always reminding you of positions and talk you through everything. There are so many options so you can never get bored! There are quick ones if you are pressed for time and longer ones. Would highly recommend!!!! Such great work outs!

A wonderful studio with talented instructors. The staff members are also amazing---friendly, organized, helpful, thoughtful. Prompt, thorough responses and thoughtful follow-up to any questions.
The studio space is on the small side, but you don't need much space for Pilates. And the upside is that there are very few other people around. I've never had more than two other people working out, with one other instructor, and it's usually no one else, or one other person and their instructor. They limit their group class sizes as well. Great COVID protocols with air purifiers and thorough wipe-downs of equipment between sessions.
Kimberly, who also leads group classes, is my trainer, and she is delightful---funny, smart, and so creative. She brings something new to every session, and pays really close attention to my physical needs and goals, both immediate and long-term. I came in last summer completely new to Pilates, and felt perfectly comfortable there from the beginning. All the trainers are friendly and talented.
I highly recommend ChaiseFitness to anyone looking for an excellent workout in a studio with lots of personal attention and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I've taken private pilates and classes at this studio and both extended my exceptions. Not only did I feel safe with the new covid protocols, but I felt like I was working on the parts of my body that I couldn't improv on my own. The teachers listen to what I wanted to work on and I feel stronger than ever. But also not bulking up my body. Highly recommend going here.

Where do I even begin in raving about Chaise Fitness? I first learned about the studio through ClassPass several years ago, and after attending my first Ballet Bungee class with the fantastic Rachel Piskin, I have never looked back. In addition to offering varied classes that challenge you every.single.time, the Chaise team has been so supportive and accommodating when I've navigated injuries and two surgeries, making it possible for me to continue with class even while recovering. During COVID-19, I've taken advantage of their live and on-demand virtual classes, and now I'm doing weekly privates in person and virtually with Sandi, another amazing instructor.

Chaise Fitness is hands down my favorite workout EVER for all of the following reasons- 1) It WORKS. I have tried every workout around and Chaise is the only one that I saw results from when going regularly 2) Its FUN- every class is challenging and inspiring, I'm never bored and the 50 minutes flies! 3) Its good for you- you build LEAN muscles, what every woman wants (or just me lol). I LOVE Chaise and have been going for close to 10 years!

There is no better full body workout in NYC than Chaise Fitness. They make Pilates fun and interesting while also challenging at the same time. The owners are amazing and the staff are all warm and friendly. Becoming a member of the Chaise community is like joining a family! Classes are small and they pay close attention to making sure you are doing what's best for you. Plus the on demand class option, which is updated weekly, lets me keep up with my workouts not only during covid but when travelling as well. I highly recommend Chaise!

I have been practicing Pilates for almost 20 years and I can safely say that the trainers at Chaise are wonderful .
They are great when I ask them to βrampβ it up and just as wonderful if I come in whining about how beat up I feel.
I have never left Chaise feeling anything other energized and, even better, at least half an inch taller!

I have been going to Chaise Fitness for over 10 years. It is an excellent studio. The instructors are terrific and the staff is friendly and supportive. The classes are fun and challenging. I am a senior citizen, and have found that the instructors are always supportive and pay attention to my individual needs. I also take a weekly private session on the reformer and other equipment. The combined program has kept me mobile and flexible and I canβt recommend them enough. I consider Chaise Fitness to be a major part of health maintenance program. It makes me feel great!

Simply put, there is no other fitness studio like ChaiseFitness. Every class is unique with effective exercises, the instructors (especially Sandy, Piera and Tamera) are warm and extremely knowledgeable and the workout is unparalleled. My personal favorites are Reinvention 45 and BandsSculpt, but you really can't go wrong with any class! I feel stronger and inspired after every visit and I cannot recommend ChaiseFitness enough.

The staff at ChaiseFitness Private Studio are extremely diverse and talented. No matter what your experience level, they will match you with someone who will challenge and support you to meet your goals.
