pilatibodi offers private Pilates sessions and group classes on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Choose from two studios depending on your needs: individual sessions at the 93rd Street location or group classes at the 106th Street studio. All sessions are by appointment only.

Wonderful instructor (Amanda) and class. With only 5 reformers the class is intimate and there is lots of opportunity for hands-on instruction. Amanda was especially sensitive to this being my first class post-birth and gave me plenty of support. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent Pilates classes at Pilatibodi. Better than any other Zoom mat class I have taken. My body feels like it has been in the studio. Laura is an excellent teacher who throughout class provides tips and reminders on how to make every movement better.

Every session, Amanda uses her extensive knowledge of body function to challenge me to become stronger and more flexible, both in person and online. Rowing is my primary sport and she has also helped me address the aches and pains I incur and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived!

I met Amanda when I was 56-years-old. When I met her, it was hard for me to do simple everyday things like tying my shoes easily. I felt stiff, weak, and tired and attributed this to aging. In 2 months I’ll turn 66 and after working with Amanda for almost a decade, I feel strong and flexible and young at heart. I have occasional aches and pains but Amanda has given me the tools to resolve most issues. This morning I had some lower back pain. Amanda has shown me exercises that have made my spine supple. I did those movements on my own and the back pain went away immediately! Joint pain (hips, ankles, shoulders, heels) that used to be chronic pops up only occasionally these days and when it does I use the movements I learned with Amanda and am feeling better within a day. I can say without any exaggeration at all that Pilatibodi has changed my life and I’m profoundly grateful.

I feel SNATCHED already! This isn't my first session with Amanda and every time I walk away feeling great and, most importantly, I also feel knowledgable about my body. You can't put a price on getting in tune with your unique body needs. I've used her teachings of activating muscle groups to really deepen my other more cardio based workouts. We all know form is EVERYTHING.

I can't say ENOUGH about Laura at Pilatibodi! What started out as me stumbling into the studio to "try our this Pilates thing" turned into a 5 year fitness and wellness journey. Laura has been there every step of the way, becoming like family. From getting me "wedding day ready" to kicking me into gear to shed the baby weight, Laura has helped me find a deeper connection to my body and movements and strengthen and tone in ways I was unable to achieve during my typical guy routine. The studio is bright and open with modern equipment, and an edgy flair...definitely good vibes! Book as session and bring a friend!!

Beautiful, clean studio with friendly, fun, knowledgeable staff! I am new to pilates but Laura had a way of explaining things to me that I could really understand. Laura is a great teacher who's focus is all about the student's goals and results. She takes the time to discover your learning style to make certain you maximize your time with her.
