The regional manager is someone that doesn’t have class at all! I pay more because I have a really bad back & need desperately to ( enjoy massage chair) she Natalia, regional manager says we the clients must gravel to get one coin for 5 minutes yet other machines that don’t work for my injury one sitting is 10 minutes! We cannot get 2 coins for what reason? This is why I pay the extra money! It’s so classless to say to someone “ absolutely u cannot have 2 coins because I’m the boss & I say so? I don’t understand this is the only gym in the world where they do not care about their clients only what this young manager decides are rules are now the rules! When I first came here it was really quite nice but since she has come all she cares about is the stupid coins? I think making the client happy should be more important! Now they allow kids to come for the summer for free, they have ruined most of the machines then we have to wait months to get it fixed! I guess she thinks people want to take home these amazing wonderful, useless coins for the bus , I heard, or they work for other things ! So make a rule for these kids that shouldn’t b allowed to use the black card xtra’s that’s probably why she feels so strongly about these stupid coins that only work for planet fitness massage chairs ! Once I stand up to run back to the front desk to have to ask for another coin , I’m already in pain so it makes no sense to relax to get back up to run to the front desk to get one more coin to get 10 minutes! Why did I get the black card? I wish that they cared about us the client! It’s very sad! She is the one that really freaks out about this issue! I think there’s a lot more issues she needs to worry about this being the stupidest rule and she’s not nice to clients at all! She thinks she’s the queen somehow? I really am so disappointed about this manager and the things she worries about? Why the coins r such an issue! She needs to worry more about the kids ruining everything and maybe they r taking the stupid coins home! Idk but why would anyone take the freaking coins home! Please help me with this issue! Please I’m so upset I’m in my 60’s and I don’t understand why they treat people here like cattle? It’s so sad I think this gym would b better off without her!! I joined this PF over a year ago and it has been great. The staff are so pleasant and kind. There’s a woman, Cheryl, who always greets me with a smile and asks me about my day. You can tell she cares about the PF members! As well, she reinforces the PF rules that most members do not. Becuase of Cheryl, the community is clean, well mannered, and inviting.

Didn’t realize I had a PF a few minutes away from my home PF in spring valley so I checked this location out. It’s really small but it’s great. Friendly morning staff, really clean and no riff raff while I was there. Not so noisy and Members were focused thier workouts, not socializing. Plenty of parking and the area is quiet and decent. I’ll be alternating between gyms now.

This location for some reason, when signing up, the app switched my location after a week of being with another location and when calling this location. They refuse to help me and kept sending me to other offices a New Jersey to the point where I had to call and start threatening them in order to cancel my membership. Cause they wanted me to go all the way to that part of New York all the way from the distant part of Jersey just to Kansas. They also messed up my promotion deal. And when I had to sign up again. I had to sign up for full price. There'staff is uneducated. They don't know what they're doing, and instead of saving the customers money, they actually fuss straight them and cost them more money and time, which is a bad thing.

There is a leak coming from the ac that leaves puddles of water on the floor completely unacceptable and a lawsuit waiting to happen! There are only two stair masters one of which is at times out which can be a bit irritating, thankfully there’s plenty of locations and with a black card you can hop around to other locations if you desire to do so.

New member alert!!! I went in yesterday and asked how can I sign up the girl in the front says here are the plans and shows me the flier. I look at flier and I decide I want to do the $24 package she hands me the tablet and tells me to fill it out. She appeared rude and annoyed as she had me standing up while filling it out my personal information while people are checking into the gym. Then this African American employee woman comes and tells me to have a seat, very polite and friendly. She took her time explaining why I needed to fill out each section while the young caucasian girl looked like she wanted to make a sale off of me. I also asked the young Caucasian girl do they have lockers and she said yes we do instead of asking if I wanted a tour. The African Americans woman explain my payment and the yearly payment when it will come out of my account. If it wasn’t for this lady and her professionalism I wouldn’t sign up. Hope this young woman gets more training, people skills and how to explain the signing up process. This left a bad taste in my mouth

- both stairmaster machines broken or defective. It felt like something was going to fall apart when using it.

Everything was good until I wanted to cancel my membership

I came in one day to cancel my membership and the person told me to scan my barcode and he told me your all set you’re not gonna get charged again and your membership is canceled

2 weeks later I’m getting another charge I’m going in to the location and the guy tells me it wasn’t canceled he tells me describe the person who helped you then like come on so I told him you can check who was here that date I scanned my barcode and he was very unhelpful

I'm cancelling my membership because of virus concerns. Get this: I have to go into the Post Office to do Certified Mail or go into my branch. How health friendly us that?!

Follow up to my 2020 review: I ended up going into the club to cancel, but they kept billing me saying I hadn't cancelled and weren't willing to refund the money! Now that the pandemic is over, I am ready to join a gym but hesitate to join one that ripped me off.
