The new upgrades are nice but I really miss the elliptical Machine that used to be there. They were more of a horizontal motion than the ones that they have now. These feel like I’m bouncing up and down and it hurts my upper body. I used to use the other ones for an hour almost everyday and now I don’t know what to do. It’s really upsetting that I can’t do the cardio that I loved to do so much. Please bring a couple of those other ones back.

A place where people go and sit on a machine to text. Getting sick of it especially when I want to get in and out.Then today I sat down on a machine and the guy next to me that was using a different machine told me he was using it. Had enough of this place.

Place is great. Some guy lost his keys on top of the lockers, it was his only set and the female manager made sure he got his keys. She went above and beyond her work expectations. I don't know why he didn't keep his keys up front? I'm glad it didn't take long to retrieve the keys . So what other place would go this far?

Honestly ill be leaving a bad review every time i have a ice cold shower, and leave the gym shivering. I pay to much money a month in this horrible economy to not be satisfied. When i ask staff about the water temp issue im told “ it only supports 8 showers” theres only 8 showers for the entire gym. I know for a fact there is only 1 shower in the other gendered bathroom bc my husband is the only other one showering.

I enjoy working out when I go to this planet fitness I am always welcomed there. Stay in shape keep healthy Mental health matters start by going on down to planet fitness get a membership enjoy the massage chair and even possibly get a tan from the tanning bed they have available for black card members only and this membership allows you to bring a friend along with you, I recommend planet fitness.

The thing that sets Planet Fitness apart from their competition is that I never have to wait for someone to finish using the equipment during my workout. I can complete my workout without any interruptions in just about an hour every single time im there. And I can do so without feeling like other customers are judging me. Its a super-friendly environment. I will continue using Planet Fitness for as long as I am able to workout.

Well the place is large with lots of different equipment and always seems very clean! The staff are very helpful and pleasant! It’s a very nice atmosphere with a large variety of equipment to meet your needs! I also like that they have tanning beds and booths! I have been to numerous gyms over the years and even a planet fitness in another city some years ago,and I must say, the Amsterdam location is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to! It’s superior to other gyms! I love the place and love the staff!

I have been coming to this location a couple of times a week for about a year. Every time I am here there are some men who “workout” near women just to stare at these women. I’m not talking about a quick glance. Today, I was on the treadmill and I turn around for a second and there was man sitting at a workout machine, not using the machine, just staring at me as I ran. It is disappointing that women are unable to come to this gym and workout without being ogled.

My home Planet Fitness is in Clearwater Florida, but I like to stay in my routine while traveling so I stopped by the one in Amsterdam and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. They actually have nicer machines than my home club and the staff was super friendly. Glad to be able to keep up my routine even when I am traveling out of my home area

Staff is the RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL ever encountered in my life. I don't recommend PF at all. Worst than any SNAKE OIL SAKESMAN!!! Both times when sub came up, they gave hard time cancelling. Was 3 days prior to renewal and was still billed. Not just that either, they billed until I went in again. Refused to return charges for their over billing.

The gym is clean and the staff is very nice but the front windows do not have any tint on them and the sun reflects off of the windows from the cars outside and blinds you while you're trying to use the equipment and is especially dangerous while youre' on the stair master and blinds you so much that you cannot see the steps and I have almost fallen off multiple times because of this issue.

I loved it. The building was always clean and sanitary including bathrooms. Several lockers are provided along with a spot for a look on them. Good quality showers along with hair dryers, and more than one spot to check on yourself. The equipment was not always in complete working order but was still very helpful to someone like me who needs assisted weights. Separate sanitation stations are also set in spots so you can clean off equipment before and after use. Free Wi-Fi as well. Staff was always very nice.

Whose idea was it to put 5 blaring lights above hydromassage #9? Get rid of them.. I had to cover my eyes the entire time. Most PFs have the hydromassage massage in the dark lit "relaxation zone". This is stupid.

Also no changing area in shower/locker area.

My daughter and I wanted to sign up for a year in advance. I was going to pay Cash. I was told no. I was told they have to have my checking account. I asked how about a credit card. With cards, I am told they have problems with people's cards declining when the date is up. To me that is nothing more than a quick phone call to ask IF, the person wants to sign up again and if so, get the new date. It also tells me that they keep your card number to recharge without your approval. With cash, they cannot charge you with out your knowledge. I am assuming that is why they are refusing cash. Even the YMCA takes cash. I was told that I could not join paying with cash for a year upfront, nor a card. Only my checking account. It appears to me that Planet Fitness has all the customers they need and are not interested in new folks, only automatic payments at the end of your membership each year. Sad.

Planet fitness policies are very restrictive. I was told I can’t use a jump rope in their building because it’s a saftey hazard. It’s a warehouse size gym and someone could be hit with a jump rope? Come on, There are way more dangerous things in here.
