It’s good for cardio and basic machines but the machines feel more like something from an outdoor park gym. Not as much in the way of free weights. If you like treadmills and stair-masters, you will not need to wait for one

Machines that break aren’t fixed. I’m aware of two that have signs on them for almost 3 months and another that has been broken at least 6 months. Staff always has answers but nothing is done. Maybe they’re going out of business?

When I went to join the gentleman behind the counter with long dreadlocks was not helpful at all made it very difficult to join but the other young man behind the counter took over and was more helpful, the locker room was clean, and it appeared that it’s going to be a good place, but it’s early , much better than the Danbury gym which is very dirty and the climate has changed there. I just left the gym today I was told I could not have my bag with me on the gym floor, but I have my push-up bars/ handles and my wrist wraps and hand wraps in the bag, I will be canceling my membership, from this location it appears that the staff has changed dramatically And not for the better it’s too bad

I have been going to the gym for over 20 years. And have always seen members bring their gym bags with items that help enhance their workouts and keep workouts safe. In over 20 years, I have never seen anyone trip over a gym bag.
I’ve been a loyal member & really value having a peaceful space to train, but I’m very frustrated with the new policy of not allowing members to bring their gym bags. A gym is exactly the place where we need our gear—water/protein/creatine, lifting belt, gloves, kick back straps, resistance bands, and personal items. Not having access to these makes it harder to train effectively and safely. The environment has been hostile since new management has started to enforce unrealistic rules. I go to the gym to release stress. Not to be stressed out interrupted by staff while running on the treadmill. Or watching uncomfortable interactions with members getting harassed by Staff about their gym bags. The Staff also does not get paid enough to have to endure a hostile environment over a non-existent problem. I hope management reconsiders this policy, because it takes away from the overall member experience. I may need to look for another gym.

Been coming here since they opened the location, it’s been great but new management has come in recently and really has ruined my workout experience here. I come in with a small workout bag with wrist straps and other small things I use to help with my workout that planet fitness does not provide. I keep it out of the way and never block any area that could lead to someone tripping on it. They told me that I have to now keep my bag in the locker room and that this rule has been in effect since the gym opened but hasn’t been enforced until recently. I have no issue with the staff they are just doing what corporate is telling them to do. But as of now I’ll be canceling my membership. For a place that claims to be a judgement free zone I feel like I’m being judged for trying to bring some of my own stuff that helps me with my workout. Some wrist traps, knee supports, etc. just a warning for people looking to join.

The bag policy after 2 years of the planet fitness being opened is finally being “enforced” and now it’s an issue that I carry my bag around the gym. I think you should be working on other issue this gym has, including the fire alarm that doesn’t work, the terrible conditions the bathrooms are in and the water fountain filter not being changed. Honestly unless you change the bag policy I know several people who will no longer go here.

Staff insists I need to keep my small bag in the locker even though I have had stuff stolen from here before and they did nothing about it. How do you expect me to carry my personal workout equipment like my wrists straps and knee braces. Would you rather I place those on the ground and have people fall over that? This has never been a problem before until now. Plus I will be calling the fire marshal about the fire exit you guys have that does not work, I’ve seen people walk in and out of that door and no alarm went off when it should.

The gym is okay for the price but unfortunately it is always overcrowded and much of the equipment and machines end up having "out of order" signs on them. The gym is staffed by mostly young people trying to make a living and they are probably not the ones to blame for any of this, but the management or corporate certainly is. PF is one of the only local gyms and has so much potential, but it definitely needs some work

Like this gym. Plenty big and has all the equipment you need.. The mens room does have a drainage issue. Always water puddles by showers. Also, they need to keep the showers/locker rooms cleaner. The gym itself is always being cleaned.

I like that the gym is clean, spacious and reasonably priced. ( I appreciate the crowd meter as well!) People are usually very respectful towards one another and no one is showing off. Clean and neat gym with helpful employees. The gym itself is a 5 star gym. However, Planet Fitness began charging me an extra $10 a month for a late fee because they had to use my backup card. Apperently the backup card is only meant to collect the debt after the fact not prevent it. I had assumed if you continuously take money from me there would be no chance of it being late but that's not the case.

hands down best gym I've been to, hands down worst treadmills I've ran on. they are so slow to responsed you have to individually click to lower the speed by tenths (.1) so if I want to go from 3mph to 6mph I literally have to click the button 30 times. they are shaped poorly, the dash extending over the treadmill WAY to far, and they feel like they are always on an incline even when set to zero. love the gym but these treadmills make me so mad

my cousin was a victim of robbery in this place yesterday, they broke his locker and stole all his cash and worst of all is that the manager did nothing we called the police and instead of apologizing he got angry with us, I publish it so that no one else goes through this uncomfortable situation, I do not recommend it.

On Memorial Day the site and app says regular hours. However they posted on the door they close at 1pm. I got here at 2, I’m happy your staff is off but at least change the website or have a voicemail set up. The equipment is good I come everyday, but they are terrible with cleaning the locker room showers. 7 days in a row there’s been the same hair and soap in three diff. Showers.

Great gym! Clean, new machines, well laid out. The only complaint i have is it’s hard to find the cleaning stations. Other planet fitness gyms I’ve been to have flags that are placed high above each cleaning station so they’re easier to find. I hope they add these.
Also the hip abductor and adductor machines should be alternating in location so you can superset (but that’s just my opinion :D)

Tito and Joe were incredibly rude to me and basically ignored me when I tried to cancel. No one explained at my home club over a year ago when I moved that I would have to transfer the home club if I had a black card. They basically laughed and walked away.
