The water for the shower is cold, it doesn’t even get warm and I have come at several different times to make sure. This is the first planet fitness I’ve been to where they don’t clean the showers and the water is cold. I complained about it and hopefully they will do something.

Love this gym! I just moved to Brooklyn so having somewhere to shower before work after my time at the gym is important. Love that it’s very chill 1,2,3, and go. And I actually feel that the place is clean. Only critic is the floor area by the water pipe room in the downstairs does have a scent but I’m sure it’s water damage and can only be smelt if you RIGHT there. Everywhere else in the planet fitness is perfectly fine :)

The only great thing about this place is the wonderful staff. The disparity between the equipment avaliable at this location compared to what is obtainable in downtown Brooklyn is like comparing a pool to an ocean!!!!! That was a year ago!!! They listened!!! And all the equipments are brand new and efficient!!! And as always their staff members are the Best!!!!

It’s pretty small and gets packed up really quickly, while it’s not the best place to get a workout in, it is somewhere to get a pretty ok workout in.
Gets really packed after 5pm but empty almost every other time.
Make sure you plan ahead becoming comping in.

One thing I will give them credit for is that there is a lot of cardio machines so there is plenty to go around , plus a pull up bar ,3 smith machines and 4 open benches.

The staff are friendly and courteous, the place is well kept, clean and spacious, only issue is that the exercise machines need their batteries replaced, they don't hold a charge and they'll go out before you have a chance to jot down your progress, you have to keep using the machine while holding your phone to take a picture of your progress, if not done right and you stop, you'll take a picture of a blank screen.

Very Clean and spacious facility, I arrived there around 10am on Thursday and the Male worker at check-in was very professional and courteous. The gym was clean and I anticipated a large crowd but I think my time was perfect because I was able to use machines without a long wait. The bathrooms were perfect, clean and smelled great. Overall this would be my #1 Planet Fitness Facility and would highly recommend to all my gym buddies.

This place is scam they charged me for membership fee that didn’t even know existed. When signing up I never got any membership confirmation from this location no email no text or no phone calls. Days later I signed up I signed up with the planet fitness on Canarsie and the transaction went smoothly and got a confirmation email with my membership within minutes which never happened with the location on Rockaway. I registered for the black card so meaning that I could attend which ever planet fitness location I then canceled my membership at Canarsie on aware of the membership at Rockaway and still charged me membership fee after cancellation. Now I’m thinking does all Planet fitness have different system because I’m thinking if you cancel from one gym, you’re then all other gym because isn’t the same membership that has to be scanned at the other gym gyms am I missing something here. Planet Fitness this don’t look good on you, you guys are multi-million dollar franchise you could afford to hire competent workers so that customers would have to pay for their incompetency.

So writing this after not having been in MONTHS... Once the "summer body" folks really starting ramping up (March-June) I started working out at home exclusively. However, I will be returning soon since summer is over and the crowds seem to have died down( I walk past just about everyday on my way to the fruit stand next door). It's pretty standard as far as PFs go- but hey it's definitely affordable and clean. When I was going religiously there was always at least one of each type of machine out of order, but they did start fixing them more quickly towards the end. Free weights were readily available and if there was a wait for a particular machine (Oh how we women love the butt and thigh machines lol) you could easily switch up your routine a lil and come back to that machine a bit later. Staff is friendly and helpful, just wish the personal trainers had a separate area instead of taking up space in the front 30 min Express Workout section. It's awkward having to excuse yourself to get to a machine that 2-3 people are exercising IN FRONT OF. All in all, I know there are better gyms out there- even better Planet Fitness' but this is convenient to my job and offers the basics.

Por la mañana (antes de las 7 am) no se puede ir porque hay personas usando 5 o 6 máquinas a la vez (es un gym pequeño) nadie dice ni hace nada para solucionar esta situación. Cuando ocurra algún choque entre personas ahí querrán buscar soluciones.

Por la tarde también hay inconvenientes con la parte de una cantidad de los hombres se quitan el poloche y algunas personas se quitan los zapatos, eso es desagradable y da mal olor al ambiente que es cerrado.

Y es que el gimnasio no tiene instructor o colaborador para ayudar a quien vaya allá y vea lo que está pasando para que así se cumplan las reglas que se imponen. Tendran que buscar más personal para que ayude en esas situaciones.

The gym where I exercise is awesome. It offers a broad range of workouts and fitness gear, which is impressive. The trainers are always willing to aid and advise on proper exercise techniques. The staff is chill, friendly. So many ways to strengthen your muscles, judgement free but I prefer to go when the t e are less people there. They got trainers, showers, locker rooms. No pool or sauna but they have several workout programs. It's lean and you can catch up on the news. They have cleaning products so you can clean up after yourself. Fits a variety of schedules.
