Great experience! I came in Sunday 11/23 and I was instantly greeted by this nice young respectful man named Dylan. He gave me step by step guidance on how to sign up for a membership and gave me a detailed tour around the gym. He asked if I had any questions and inquired about my fitness goals. In short, He was very professional and understanding and patient with me. Definitely would recommend!

Not the best location but it’s the only one near the neighborhood. Good place to work out and get the job done. Just don’t go in the afternoon, it gets super packed on weekdays. Wish the lighting was a bit brighter cuz sometimes it makes me wanna nap haha. Also we need more stair master machines, there’s always a line of people waiting for their turn. Sometimes I don’t get to use it due to too many people waiting before me.

This gym is an absolute disgrace. The staff are incredibly rude and completely unprofessional. I’m giving this gym one star because of the frequent thefts. The gym itself is okay, but the constant stealing is just too much. Several times, money was taken from my wallet, and the last time, someone stole my jacket with something very valuable to me inside. I strongly recommend coming here without any personal belongings or cash. Things get stolen from the lockers — even items you’d never expect anyone to take!

You need to be more clear about minor sign up. Planet Fitness solicited me to sign my son up online when his free summer was over. Nowhere did the contract or paperwork say that I needed to come in physically to sign a waiver. I signed the waiver provided to me online when signing my son up for the membership, (17 years old). He went to your gym for free, for two months through NYC public schools before that, I didn’t have to go in then either. Today after a long bus ride your “pleasant staff” turned him away… after working out at your gym since June, and now a paying member. I had no issue going in to sign tonite after work, but you couldn’t even let him work out (under a paid membership) one more day after taking a bus to get there. He’s been going there all summer, no signatures needed from me for that. Your policies and practices change with the wind. Make up your mind…. and while you do that, I will take great pleasure coming in to cancel his membership tonite. Good riddance.

I had a terrible experience! When I went in to cancel my membership, the manager, Mia, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She spoke to me with an attitude instead of helping me through the process. On top of that, the gym itself is not well-maintained, and smells very bad. I use to love to go there but not anymore. This might be the dirtiest and most disorganized gym in the entire country. The toilets and shower cabins are extremely filthy. I highly recommend using the restroom at home or at a gas station before coming here. I was shocked by what I saw in the bathroom — some creep was doing something disgusting. Instead of burning off his energy in the gym, he was putting all his strength into a hand motion in the gym’s restroom. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. I find the club very comfortable to visit the staff is very nice and equipment is clean most is working properly, anytime I ask one of the staff members to turn on a massage chair or ask some advice they’re very quick to respond and friendly all of them ..,
It’s always good to know when you’re taking care of your body that you’re going somewhere where you could feel comfortable I would recommend planet fitness on Kings Highway to anyone
Parking is hard if you have to park the meters could be up to five dollars for two hours sometimes there’s not enough time but it is what it is the club itself is great
*I want to update my review by saying this past Labor Day the club was open till 1 o’clock and employees were treating it like a regular workday cleaning helping is big improvement on holidays than other clubs they should get paid a full day they hard and smile diligently are there to please the customers awesome:)
Just another update to show the fluidity of the way the club is run by Chris and the gang I don’t think the workers need to be pushed to do things they simply know their jobs it’s business, some people are rude to them but good bunch they seem very happy .. mgr Kris is pleasant and good workers all of them doing a wonderful job also because they care!

Update :walked into the gym today and surprised didn’t think it could get any better.they completely remodeled the gym put in new machines made more of a personalized atmosphere it’s multifaceted, beautiful rowing machines, weight training and best secret in Brooklyn. I had to pull myself out of there today very comfortable.

This gym is cool. The front desk girls in the morning Ana and Ashley are so pleasant and always welcoming. They are a great way to start the morning when you see their smiling faces. The overnight guy Al keeps upstairs really clean and he always happy and willing to help us out. He wipes down and vacuums everything.

The gym needs a complete update. The machines are old and break down often. The flooring is worn out, and equipment needs greasing. The bathroom stalls are on their last leg as it looking like they are going to fall over. The soap pumps barely work.

The only reason why I keep going there is because of the workers and cool people I have met. Otherwise I would've went somewhere else. Do better PF.

This gym is terrible. No matter how early you come, it’s always packed. Six people crowd around one Smith machine like it’s a group project. There are no dumbbells or barbells ever available—I’ve never even seen a barbell in this place. Half the treadmills are broken. On top of that, it smells horrible. My brother and I came to the gym to work out right before his graduation, and we were met with an unfriendly and arrogant worker from the concierge by the name of Ashley. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews at this gym. I went for my first time today with my brother and I had a lot of fun ‼️ The staff was really really pleasant and welcoming. Everybody literally minds their business and nobody bothers you. I even asked a lady to help me with the cycling machine (since I didn't know how to start the machine) and she had no problem letting me use hers. With that said, I do recommend this gym. Honestly the customer service is horrible, I had signed up back in September online, after calling to confirm if my sign up went through since I didn’t receive an email confirmation and I was told it didn’t and I should try again, by the next month I was charged for 2 extra memberships. I came to this location to cancel the extra memberships and and get a refund for the extra 2 memberships since I was informed it was a system error and everything I was told to come back when the manager was there because no one else was able to get my refund back. After asking when it was the best time to find the manager, coming in on several occasions during the time I was told I would find him, I would come and he was not there and I was given such an attitude once they knew I was there for a refund. I came in 3xs til I was finally able to find the manager and that was after I emailed the company I was informed it would take up to a month for me to receive my refund via check. After that month beginning of November I followed up since I had not received anything in the mail, I ask for an update I was informed only the manager would be able to check In the system if my request was sent and of course he was no in, I left my number never received a call back. After calling and calling i ended up going to the location in person and of course the manager was not in and I was informed by the assistant manager it usually takes 6 months for the refund to be issued. Till today I have not received anything back, and it’s honestly the policy is such a joke, the customer service was terrible, I literally have to beg them to give me my money back when it was an issue on their end, and I don’t understand how such a big company can’t return my money yet they take your back account information and are so quick to charge you on the due date yet when it comes to a refund it’s such a joke.

This gym is an absolute nightmare. The equipment is outdated, filthy, and frequently breaks down. Benches and machines are covered in dust and rust, while the flooring is worn out and full of holes. The staff is completely indifferent and rude. The so-called trainers don’t pay attention to form or safety, spending most of their time on their phones. The locker rooms are constantly dirty, the floors are sticky, and the smell is disgusting. Worst of all is the customer service—complaints and requests are completely ignored. What I truly love about planet fitness is I can find one near places I work in NYC. I'm a Bus driver so if I'm in the bronxz Yup, Brooklyn Yup. . So far haven't tried other Boroughs yet looking forward to it ...YUP...MANOFGODIAM

Too few dumbell available. Too few benches for the number of membership. Machines are always occupied. People never leave the bench easily.

Not sure how the ladies locker room,but in the men's locker room,lot of the lockers don't have doors,the 2 rowing machines don't have qr codes for some reason. Besides that it is ok,staff is friendly,the bathrooms are clean. That because Jeff and his partner Iver are always cleaning,either they are in the locker room cleaning or cleaning the machines,the floors etc. If it wasn't for them,I doubt it would clean as it is. They both deserve a raise,higher position in Planet Fitness organization.

The quality of the members here is concerning; no one is willing to put the dumbbells back. I'm not even talking about placing them in the correct spots; they don’t even bother to place them randomly on the rack after use. Instead, they leave them in places where no one can find them. Many people occupy multiple sets of dumbbells at the same time, even when they don’t need them immediately. Even when they are done, they put the dumbbells under the bench, forcing others to ask if they still need them. It's frustrating. I would not recommend this place in the summer—it's too crowded, and the free trial option means it's mostly filled with inexperienced young people. They just do a random set and then sit on the machines until dark. Most of these young people probably don’t have the motivation to stick with it, so they come for a few days and then stop coming, but this doesn't change the fact that new teens are here every day. I’m not criticizing them, just letting you know you need to be prepared to wait a long time. In the afternoon, right after your turn, someone new will immediately come and ask how many sets you have left. Seeing others waiting will definitely affect your training and mood.
