I can’t say enough great things about Anthony at the front desk of Planet Fitness. When my ring went missing, he went above and beyond to help me find it. He took the situation seriously, stayed calm and reassuring, and genuinely put in extra effort to resolve the issue. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Beyond that one incident, the service I receive every single time I walk into this location has been nothing short of impeccable. Anthony consistently goes out of his way to be welcoming, attentive, and professional. He truly sets the tone for a positive gym environment and creates an experience that makes members feel valued.

I travel for work and having been to many Planet Fitness locations across the states I can confidently say this was one of the dirtiest locations I’ve been too, although I enjoys the spacious layout of the gym the locker room smelt god awful and was not cleaned very well.

I normally go to NF location, but I was in Cheektowaga, so I went here this time to take advantage of my black card membership. NF is always clean and inviting. Can't say that about here. First thing I noticed was the general odor of the place. Ok, I just want to work out, not eat here, so let's carry on. I then notice there are much more equipment than I'm used to, so a positive there. I finally get into the locker room to notice how dirty this place really is. Several locks looked like they're tagged for not being removed at night. The benches here are very narrow, almost excessively narrow, like they're trying to keep people from sleeping on them. I went through six lockers to find an unused one. The first five were either broken, there was a pair of dirty shoes in them, or a mess in them. I get changed and head to the urinals. I find one that has what appears to be lettuce in it. Who brings lettuce to a urinal?? Geesh. I go out to the floor to fill my water bottle. There is an Elkay bi-level fountain here, no bottle filler. How is that? I can't be the only person who uses bottle fillers here. That's unusual. I've installed several retro-fit bottle fillers on these in the past. I start my workout, seeing nicer treadmills than my home gym... These seem newer and have a fan on them, which is highly appreciated. I see many unused treadmills and ellipticals, which always confuse me. There is always quite a few of those being unused, which I'd rather there be more of other equipment that I usually have to wait for, like the pull down machine, and tricep press. Those are usually being used, so why have so many treadmills, ellipticals, and bicycles? I'm all done, so I head back to locker room. This is where things get weird. I'm just about done changing, and then I see a rather large, older (I'm 48) man come out of the shower stall, who then heads over to one of the narrow benches. No towel (Where is your towel, i'm thinking). Dude then sits his bare butt right onto the bench, again, no towel. Then dude begins to try and have a conversation with me.... All I can think is - you are naked, sitting straight up on a bench, and now you want to start a conversation???? I promptly ignore him, and head out. Lastly, nobody at the desk says anything like "have a good night" or anything... I always hear that in NF - EVERY TIME. I think I'll stay in NF.

Ppl losing their keys and wallet from locker..my friend got his car stolen from this gym and they don't do anything probably planet staff involved with it...three car was stolen in last week and they don't care...its seems like planet supervisor is involved in stealing anything inside gym because wen we asked him to check camera he said that's not his job...

I like this gym, lots of equipment and the staff is pretty friendly. My only complaint (and not PF fault) is the people that come to the gym not to work out but sit on the equipment and stare at their phones. And I'm not talking about resting between sets! There are people who tie up a machine for 15-20 minutes staring at their phones and NOT moving a muscle. Can't you do that at home? My GOD people put the phone down, perform your workout and move on. The rest of us would like to use that machine too!

this is my 2nd year of my summer coming to this gym, I’m 16 and I’m beyond grateful for the free student membership pass. besides the students that go just to mess around I really enjoy my experience and I hope they don’t ruin the free membership for those who really want it. thank you guys so much for this, I’ll be coming every summer!!

This club is large with plenty of space between machines and different workout areas. Definitely large than many clubs I have been. It is clean and the cleaning supplies are well stocked. The Black Card lounge has hydro-massage, but no cryo-launch.

I regularly went to Planet Fitness from 9 am to 12 pm, and it wasn't crowded around that time. There are plenty of machines to choose from, and the best part is that everything in the environment is almost always clean. Helps with the mood indeed. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. All and all, I like the place a lot and would recommend anyone who wants to get into working out to join Planet Fitness.

I travel a lot and I love PF , but I came to this location because I’m from out of town. 3 of the 4 toilets in the women’s restroom were out of order. The one toilet that did work was filthy. Also 2 of the sanitary stations were out of order. I’m not happy with this location.

UPDATE I just visited this location again and the issues have gotten WORSE! Overflowing toilets, stalls with no doors! This time I took pictures of the women’s bathroom. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!! Management really needs to do something about this.

I've always been hesitant to go to the gym because of fear of a negative environment and judgment. At other planet fitness locations i've found the staff to be judgmental and unhelpful, but the staff at this location is amazing and the environment is unmatched. There's always plenty of machines open, and the staff is always kind and incredibly helpful. Really grateful I took the leap to join planet fitness after being uncertain about joining a gym after a handful of other negative experiences at gyms, and am glad that I got the black card membership so I am able to bring a friend or family member along as motivation and so that they are able to work out as well. Highly recommend this location!!

Unfortunately, this gym is very bad. The management is not honest. They take my money from the bank every month, multiples of the agreed amount, and then they say a late fee of twenty dollars, even though they take my subscription every month. I will file a complaint against them. My advice is that their treatment is bad.

The tanning bed just pushed me over the edge, inspiring this review. Most of the treadmills are in VERY bad shape, including other weight machines, they make horrible noises as well at times, seems dangerous.😬
I've been to literally all the planet fitness locations around the greater western ny area, including out of state locations Chicago, etc.
This is by far the worst one, it's a little abnormal how bad their equipment is, how worn out, damaged, defective their machines are. The tanning bed literally has about 60% of its light bulbs out.
The staff is excellent though, very friendly people. No complaints there.
I don't know what's going on with this location, if it's a franchise or a management thing, or a corporate thing, but the money is not going back into the facility. It's quite obvious at this point especially compared to other ones. Something else is going on with this location.
I've never seen one this bad.😬 🧐

As a member I am livid about a recent incident that occurred at Walden location involving my 83 & 81 year old
parents. A thief lied to the manager and said a lock was put on his locker in error and actually the locker and lock was my parents. The manager had the lock removed and allowed the thief to steal $130 out of my dads wallet. They also threw my parents lock away. My elderly parents are on a fixed income and how could this be allowed to happen to them. This incident has left my parents and myself very violated. As my dad stated moving forward when a person asked to have locks removed they should be able to idenitfy the contents in the locker. He should be refunded for $130 due to this not being his fault. We are ready to discontinue our membership due to a lack of concern with this matter.

Honestly never had any issues with the desk up until a week ago. Two times now nobody has been at the desk the whole time I was at the gym. I always get a Celsius before and they check me out. The last time before today I had to leave a note for them to charge me because nobody was at the desk for the whole two hours I was there. I saw a worker doing trash and he was walking up but then just turned around and walked out the back? So odd. Today again at 12:30 I waited ten minutes and nobody came up at all. There was nobody up still. Just went back up to have them charge me and the girl goes "sorry we aren't doing purchases right now" so I guess I can't even have a damn energy drink. Seriously get it together planet fitness before people just start cancelling prescriptions. I have a black card this is ridiculous. You guys can't have a price of paper to have people write down what they have while your system is down? Ridiculous.

Not super busy. Plenty of available workout machines and weights . Lots of available cleaning stands for paper towels and spray. Love the massage chairs and tanning/ total body enhancement. Very clean and organized atmosphere. The rooms for the tanning and TBE could use some vacuuming .. Mirrors in the tanning rooms would be nice so can apply lotion better . The locker rooms are very nice and clean as well.
