Being military I'm always being moved around. The female with glasses at the front desk in the afternoons helped me with the on boarding. She was extremely helpful and always greets. PF, you have a solid team! I love working out here! Just please fix the cable machine (not a deal breaker).

The place isn't as clean as I'm used to with PF and I don't mean sweeping or mirrors. All the weight stands were dirty, black when I wiped them with a paper towel. Just a little put off by that and cracks in some of the seats in equipment. The girl working was Super friendly and was actually sweeping floors when we left. A+ for her!

I recently went into the Cortland Branch to cancel my membership due to financial reasons. I was warmly greeted by a young woman named Rachel. After explaining my situation, she was very helpful, even offering to change my membership to the basic plan, but in the end, decided to still cancel for time being. She sorted it out quickly and effectively, after all was said and done, she said that if I ever wanted to restart my membership I could do so online or in person at any time. She was very kind, professional and definitely speaks to the “ No Judgement Zone’ motto!

Constantly run out of disinfectant and toilet paper. Today I asked the front desk why they have time to sit on their phones instead of doing their job. Her response is that she has to be at the front desk at all times and there is no more disinfectant. No one wants to spend more time looking for disinfectant… that takes away from their workout. And I’m sure some people won’t clean the machines if they have to do that. Instead of telling me that she will talk to management about this she got defensive. I told her maybe I need to leave a review online, her response was “you do that”. So here it is… just letting people know about how it is to workout here in the evenings. Lazy staff, get paid to use their phones. Isn’t it better to be busy and the time will go by quicker??? I’m thinking I might have to cancel this membership 😡 and I got it this year!!! I’d be happy to remove this review when this situation improves. ✌🏼

I am a disabled veteran. I was looking to go to this gym to work out. After I found out they wanted to have my bank account number and routing number I will not be using and gym from this company. I am on a fixed income and get paid only monthly. With all the business that get hacked into and your information stolen from I never give out that information to anyone. That's a bad idea. THERE IS NO REASON THEY NEED THIS INFORMATION ON FILE IF YOU HAVE A CARD ON FILE. It's not worth ruining my only source of income as a disabled veteran. I have enough problems and pains in life without something like thus adding more.

Large clean gym. But the music volume is much too loud. 90% of patrons wear headphones, can the staff turn the PF stereo down, please? It's annoying to have to blast your headphones to drown it out. Probably bad for your hearing too.

Edit: I shouldn't have to ask staff every time to lower the volume. I don't want to be the guy who complains all the time. The standard volume is too loud and should be reduced all the time.

Besides all the amenities PF has to offer the staff are what make this place what it is. One of the employees, Quinn was cleaning the entire time I worked out. The gym was spotless. On different occasions I had the pleasure of talking to Marissa, Emily K and Madison D who are very attentive, helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Don’t forget your sneakers or any belongings!

After receiving a blanket/fake response from the assistant manager, my sneakers that were set aside with my name and phone number on them were miraculously donated TWICE! First time I received a call back saying that they had been found and were set aside (this staff member made it seem like she was doing a favor for me) and when I returned to the gym again, I was told that they were donated. (Probably donated to staff member) I was told that since I wasn’t back the next day to retrieve them, they were donated…. Although my name and phone number were on them??? Not only am I upset that my brand new sneakers are gone, the response from their assistant manager and other staff members was pathetic. One staff member said “oh yeah this happens all the time”.

I get donating left over items, but my nice sneakers which had my name and phone number on them? I get I didn’t return the next day to retrieve them, but I could’ve been warned this? Or given a call??? Makes NO sense.

This being said, I’m sure the staff is having a field day with your lost and found belongings… so don’t forget them!

This complaint doesn’t even include me witnessing a staff member calling a member a “dick” the previous time I was here… It is very unlike me to complain but I will NEVER come back to this place solely because of its staff members. Do better.

I'm pretty upset with the new hours. I would work out from 4am till 530am and head to work. The new hours are going to male it so I cant workout. Will be requesting to cancel my membership. Since the hours have changed.

Staff seems to hate their job. They let guests in with no id as long as they have enough money for the fee. Security is severely lacking. You'd be better served by working out at home or the local park, even in winter.

This corporation moved into a small town area shutting down two small great 24/7 gyms that we already in place. They have yet to hold up there 24/7 access business's model the times consistently change not allowing 24/7 when I called they said " there is not enough foot traffic " no kidding geniuses it is a small town area. So you move your giant corporation in shut down some amazing 24/7 gyms and you can not hold up your business model at all. Eventually I see them closing up shop all together because they expanded without actually doing research.

I give it 3 stars for a couple of reasons. First being that the employees can often make you feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed almost? The second reason being the chemicals they use are harsh to people with sensitive skin like myself. Please find an alternative hypoallergenic cleaning spray, that purple stuff is dangerous !

I am a black card member, the current employees are great, and I have no complaints about cleanliness, my only concern is that the tanning bed bulbs are not being replaced, and that is something I am paying for. I believe there are regulations/laws concerning bulb replacement as well. There were 18 bulbs in the stand-up tanning bed that were not working at all and the rest were dim.

My daughter signed up for a membership and while waiting for my written consent because she is a minor. On the day she signed up they took $20 (claim it declined however her bank statement says different) and 7 days later they took $39 and when I called they said if I didnt come in today then another $10 would be taken out of her account.
How can you take money from a minor who hasn't used the facilities, isn't old enough to be there, and tell us no refunds?

Manager was not helpful and was rude. Also, How does a minor get a membership without parent consent yet although they are paying for it aren't allowed to use the facilities?

I'm so happy to have a actual gym in Cortland thats just down the road from me. I get to hit the gym after and even sometimes before work so it has helped me get back into shape. I hope to see more improvements on the place possibly have some other activities there like possibly a boxing addition but that's in the long run of thought.
