I enjoy working out here. They have a great variety of machines to choose from. It isn't very busy when I go at different times. You can also check the app to see if it is busy. As a Black card member, I also enjoy access to the hydro massage machine which I use after my workout.

Checked in and went to the locker room. Front desk employee came into the locker room and said I had to fill out paperwork.

After changing I went to the front desk and they said since I am a remote check in that the manager is making me fill out a form. Form asked tons of personal information I didn’t feel comfortable giving.

I travel for work and have been to at least 20+ different PF locations. I was never asked to fill this paperwork out anywhere else..ever. I refused to fill it out and was made to leave. Went to a different location up the street and they didn’t make me fill any forms out.

March 2024 Club was clean, no issues using equipment. Music was good that day. Hair dryer was broken, I let management know.

The DeWitt Club has Arc trainers for cardio whereas the Clay club doesn't. I was able to use total body & get a massage chair without waiting. Club was clean, even in shower area. Even the parking lot looked nice as not as much debris as usual.

Size wise, I rarely wait for circuit equipment. But the equipment itself is not well kept. I have been a member for 8 months at this particular location and in that time and after submitting several feedback/surveys, no pads have been replaced. Some are really gross and I can only imagine the germs and bacteria they carry. But hey, they painted and wallpapered so that’s really A+.

This is the only gym that I go to since the end of social distancing in mid-August 2020. They have what I need, but I wish there were more free weights. With that said, it is how you adapt and use the equipment that they have. Even with the monthly membership rose from $10 to $15/month, it is still cheaper than other local gyms in the DeWitt and Syracuse area.

Also, they are trying very hard to make an improvement.

I was one of the members who suggested that we need a wall clock as some of us do not wear watches working out. I don't remember when they hung a big wall clock near the entrance, but it shows that management pays attention to the members.

They try to keep the facility as clean as they can. I often see them vacuum the floor, clean the exercise machines, and mop the floor. My hat is off to the Planet Fitness ownership who takes great care of the equipment and the gym members.

Having used countless planet fitnesses across the US - I have to say this one is quite good! I only used the showers, but the equipment seemed ample and staff is friendly. The locker rooms are large and clean, showers have good hot water and pressure, unusually this planet fitness has body wash/shampoo in the showers, and the dressing rooms are large.

I don't have time to push back the time I come into the gym everyday to satisfy nanny state New York State. What's the difference between 22 hours and 24 hours. When it comes to tanning, really. I'm almost 52 years old, I think I'm old enough to make my own decisions by now. What's next monitoring the amount of time we spend in the sun. Tax us for how much time we spend in the sun. Charge us with neglect for letting our child play outside for more than 10 minutes on a sunny day. Abuse if we don't personally lube them up with sunscreen till they're 21 before they go outside.

Very lovely staff and people there the location is just so perfect and the natural view inside for the outside is gorgeous the place is very clean lunk alarm dose not go off that much I made it go off by accident 😅😅 I was doing a 310 dead lift and my hands were pretty sweaty the pole slipped from my hands and fell down I twisted it to lock it in place and the moment it got stopped the sound was so strong and it echoed inside I was kinda scared at first from how loud it was and the lunk alarm went off and the staff came runin I explained my self and they laughed about it and told me to be careful next time. It is a perfect starter gym and a perfect gym to stick two and for the price it's a steal of a deal but if you try working out there correctly you would build a physical shape the equipment is very safe and starter friendly. When you walk in the gym or when you are going to leave going to get your things from the locker don't act weird because I guarantee you will see but naked old men or just but naked men in there 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 first time I walked in a gym was this place and first thing I see when I walk in was an old man but naked I was feeling so awkward at that moment but I just looked away and did my workout and left 😂😂

This place is terribly dirty. The showers smell like sewage. The urinals are yellow stained from urine. There are bugs in showers bc they never clean them. Mold and slim everywhere. I talked to the red haired manager over and over And over. She claims since she's a female she can't go in there and check to see if the people are doing their jobs. A very bizarre answer. This has been going on for over a year. I don't think anybody's clean the bathroom in that long of iaperiod. I started going to the mattydale gym because of that. Today had a convenience I went back to bridge Street and of course it's the same old story. Manager sitting behind the desk doing absolutely nothing. And of course the parking lot is untouched snow and ice everywhere. Must have fired their plow guy.

My home gym... when I'm in Syracuse. Its a great facility except... the mens room? Is nasty... toilets always dirty (like dirty dirty) at 7am or 3pm does not seem to matter maybe we are extra slobby here? But I would rate this particular facility's mens room the worst of anywhere I travel... the stall to the right had not had a lock/handle on it? For a year plus (fixed finally)? Come on... otherwise its PF and its a bang for the buck superstar 😎 staff is always cool too...friendly.

Cancelled membership but manager lied and said she never received notification of my cancellation request. Then she lied again and said she called me with steps to cancel. Not being able to keep a locker SUCKS. It's my biggest complaint and makes every trip to the gym more cumbersome. Horrible customer service , arrived to the gym this morning and scanned in my card. The girl behind the desk said my annual fee is due. I said huh. She said we told you when you signed up (which was years and and years ago) when your annual fee will be due and you haven’t paid it so I can’t let you use our facility . I said umm I’m billed monthly and it’s taken automatically from my account. She said it was due 3 days ago and it hasn’t pulled it yet. I said maybe because it was on a weekend . She replied with unless you pay it right now you’ll have to leave the club. Yes! She actually kicked me out of planet fitness!!!!! Im going to my home club after work and canceling my membership. Its not worth the hassle for the price
