Ive been to many different locations in the states, this one is by far the cleanest and well kept location ive been to!
Staff is consistently active with making sure equipments clean and functional, definitely great management for this location!

Racial profiling?
New phone, can’t log in. Tanya tries to help. Tells me nothing she can’t do (not my home gym)
So then it starts.
I ask if I can show her a statement,
Replies“i can’t, I don’t know that you are a member and I don’t feel comfortable with you at the desk.”
Ok thank you.
“I don’t know if your a criminal or not”

Walks out, goes to car, figures out log in, walks back in, gets chair massage, leaves review.

Been a member for over 4 years. Today I considered canceling.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. Due to unforeseen medical issues, I canceled my membership, only to discover later that the cancellation was never processed. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, I was charged again.
When I called to address the mistake, I was met with unhelpful and incredibly rude customer service. Not only did they refuse to take responsibility for the error, but they also denied issuing a refund. The lack of empathy and professionalism was truly shocking.
I would not recommend this service to anyone, especially considering how poorly they handle situations involving health-related concerns

Clean, associates are friendly and I genuinely enjoy going after work. I am a black card member. The new tanning system that has recently been implemented is horrid, constant problems. My work schedule shifts and I am not always allowed to tan everyday with having to wait 24 hours since my last tan, especially with the business hours not being open 24/7. Therefore I feel my membership is useless most days. I’ve been a frequent tanning customer to many establishments and not one has had the 24 hour wait rule. Just once a day. Also PF is the only tanning place I’ve been to that does not provide personal mirrors in the individual tanning rooms. Beginning to feel like my membership is a waste, currently looking for other options because PF is not up to standards that other tanning facilities offer.

Being open early is huge so I can workout at 4:30am. The tanning and massage chairs are nice and staff are super friendly. However, none of the treadmills are remotely accurate. They all say you're running much faster than you actually are which makes fitness tracking super difficult. Also there's no free bar squat rack, all the squat racks are cable.
It's also the cheapest gym in the area so that's a bonus. It would get 5 stars if the treadmills were fixed.

I have been a black card member to Planet Fitness for quite a long time now. Over this time I have always had pleasant experiences until I started coming to this location. Some of the team members mostly the day shift team have at least a basic knowledge of the equipment. Otherwise you have a building of cashiers. The night time crew from what I have experienced is much different.
Tonight (Saturday) I walked into the location at around five minutes to seven. A man who works there.. tall.. dark hair and glasses shouted and I mean literally shouted from where the locker rooms are all the way to front door.. hey.. No! We close at 7. I mean startled me he yelled so loud and did so a couple times. He even did the cupping of his hands over his mouth to make sure it echoed through the gym as I was literally stopped at the door. It's not like I ignored him and kept walking to the desk. It was the rudest and most abrasive way I was ever told a building was about to close. I felt like a child being scolded. It was terrible. Now, I should have checked the hours but honestly didn't think it would close so early on a saturday.. but still I should have checked. Which by the way closing at 7 is not convenient for people who work on Saturday.
In such a small town area you would think the team would be better trained to preserve memberships.
This was the first time this gym felt like a horrible franchise experience..

Also, the responses on here to the negative reviews is ridiculous and generic. Not addressing any of the concerns on here and skating over them by saying please reach out to the club manager.. or please see this policy isn't what people want to see and will be the reason people don't come back. Saying.. wow.. sorry that happened and here's what we plan on doing shows at least a bit of interest in the humans that make you a lot of money. If someone has an issue like I have been reading that they do.. the club manager should be reaching out to us. We pay you to provide at least basic levels of service.

All that being said I recommend Planet Fitness.. just not this location. I'll be calling Chautauqua Health and Fitness for a membership there.

Their only payment option involves giving them my bank account number? What the hell kind of an Orwellian nightmare is that? Why would anyone give these corporate sharks that information? I offered to pay with my card and pay in cash but they wouldn't let me. I couldn't even pay in advance - no go. Wise up people. Find another gym that has other payment options. It just makes more sense to go elsewhere before the data breach.

New and very clean. Mixed crowd by age and fitness levels. Staff is generally friendly but some love to call people out publicly who make noise or accidentally drop a weight or use a noisy machine too hard or whatever they subjectively think is a “lunk”. Very unevenly applied standard for that.

I get what you’re trying to do by creating a safe and non judgmental environment. But allowing so much subjectivity by your staff and unfairly and inconsistently applying your own rules is frustrating.

The gym is great the staff is great but their policy of requiring a bank account to join is complete bs. No company has the right to require a bank account from anyone. No company has the right to require a credit card on file when the person going to the gyms health insurance is paying for it. I just found out from my lawyer that they are violating laws when they require any more payment information when a health insurance plan is paying for the membership like my silver sneakers pays. I will have started at the Chautauqua Fitness Center since they don’t require other payments to go when health insurance is paying and they are the reason I asked my lawyer about it since I went to put a credit card on file and they asked why so I told them. I hope plant fitness gets shut down for there crooked policies. I will be filing a report with the better business bureau as well.

Music is so loud, you cannot hear your own headphone music. Annoying! Other than that, I have no complaints. Staff is always courteous and helpful! Just lower the damn annoying music!
Other Planet Fitness gyms I've been to don't have the music that loud! We want to hear our music, not yours!

EDIT: I did let staff know and they said they have no control over it. I also asked why it was so cold in there all the time. I've had to wear long sleeves and a hoodie because it's so cold. And I'm not the only one. People I talk to are complaining about how cold it is and they have to wear warmer clothing when they would rather be sweating. Again, the staff said they have no control over it.

Not a true fitness gym with knowledgable physical fitness trainers. Staff is more like cashiers than experienced fitness trainers. Despite being an out of state black card guest/member, my spouse was not present so they wanted $20 a day. 😂

I parked my truck here yesterday on the lot outside Planet Fitness to use the gym and came back out after a couple hours to find a warning notice on my window that truck parking is not allowed on this lot and if I ever come back here again I will be towed. Where are we supposed to park as a legitimate customer of this business. The lot is huge and there is more than enough room to park a few trucks. This is a very unfair situation and I would urge Planet Fitness to make arrangements with the property owner to make available a few spaces for truck parking to help truckers who desperately need this service.
