5 Stars for this planet mainly because of Josh! What an outstanding person ! When I entered he noticed this wasn’t my home gym and asked if I had been there before, he gave me a quick brief tour when i said i had not and he explained the locker room situation. There is none it is private bathrooms but they have private showers as well for people who utilize. He also was out and about on the floor and made sure the weights were re racked from others and everything was clean and tidy. Very impressive planet. Decently sized and I like the lay out. This is coming from someone who only uses planet due to the days i work long hours and can’t hit my normal gym. Shout out to Josh again man !

My home club is in Delray Beach, but I spend 5 months every year in Cold Spring, so I was happy to see this new club site open. It is clean, uncrowded, and welcoming. The equipment is brand new, and the staff is always available to answer questions. In addition, the staff is always warm and friendly. Planet Fitness is known to most people for its low cost, but this club is a great facility in addition to the low cost.

This location is brand new for Planet Fitness, so the club is designed with the company's latest innovations. The equipment is new and the club is airy and clean. It is spacious with plenty of machines, free weights, benches, and floor mats. Lockers are in the lobby area. The changing rooms/showers are private rooms. There is plenty of parking and also electric car chargers adjacent to the parking lot. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and a trainer is available for those who want to learn how to make the most of gym workouts. While the gym has only been open for five months at this writing, membership is increasing. PF has a "crowd meter" in the app so you can make note of less crowded times to work out. The clientele have a wide age range, so no one should feel intimidated. PF is known for its motto: No Judgement Zone. Highly recommend splurging for the Black Card membership that includes perks and amenities, including workouts at other PF locations. This is not a posh gym with a pool and basketball courts. It is for workouts. And it's great!

I travel all over the country for work and often hit the local PFs to get in a workout. It’s great to see the new facility in Fishkill. Everything is new and fresh but it was the first time I have experienced the no locker room concept. The PRO is a great amount of privacy if that matters to you but the CON is if you come in with your work clothes, you then have to change in a separate room, pack up all your gear ( wrinkling everything) schlep it out to the lockers near the entrance, either unpack everything in front of everyone walking by, or shove the entire gym bag in the locker thereby wrinkling it more etc. Then when its time to shower you have to schlep everything into the private shower rooms ( often with water all over the floors), unpack everything on a chair bc there’s no countertop or coat hooks on back of the doors.
Not great for comuters, business people or road warriors. I LOVE PF but this concept should be in addition to NOT as substitute for locker rooms. IMHO. ✌🏻

This gym is one of the cleanest gyms I have been to I have traveled all over to planet fitness is Long Island even Wappingers Falls, Florida, etc the staff in the morning at 5:00 AM our friendly upbeat and welcoming. I really enjoy going to this facility.

I been a planet fitness member for 2 years and 6 months. This is by far my favorite location. The staff, the layout, and environment is great!

I have seen so many staff members come and go in my time here. But Julie has by far been my favorite. So happy she’s the assistant manager here. She’s knowledgeable, caring, and takes the time to get to know people.

No idea what the negative reviews are about, large, spacious, clean PF, and friendly staff to top it off. Locker rooms are outside which is different but I don't mind because it deters theft.

Has all the new PF machines and tons of space between them. For the price PF is a great value and this location is nothing short of fantastic.

If you're a hardcore power lifter then sure this gym will not go up to the weight you use (past 75lb dumbbells) but for everyone else this gym has what you need. I recommend.

I left another gym in the area that had reduced their hours and twice as expensive than the black card. Couldn't use it on the weekends at all because of my work schedule. So happy I made the move. I was skeptical about the "free" classes, but so pleasantly surprised. The trainer was able to navigate the difference fitness level and knowledge of the members taking the class so we all got what we needed. It was a real work out and I was sore the next day. I love that it is 24hrs most of the week. Staff members are friendly, only negative is that they need to explain things a little more completely. I wanted to use the enhancement machine and they explained they turn it on for me. They didn't tell me I had to turn on the vibration feature myself or set the intensity. That was minor issue. They have a great selection of equipment. Im very satisfied with the gym.

2 payments on file, money was not pulled in the morning of the 17th as it should be each month. Used the money by the time it “appeared in my bank.”Money was in the second payment first time.
Was charged a $15 late fee. Okay.
It pulls another $15. Bet. I’m trying to scan in because I’m assuming it took the other $15 to make $30. Says payments clear, next payment is Sep 17th, $45.06. Okay?

Head in the next day.
“PAYMENT DUE”
I go in and try to dissolve this, there being no visible quick customer service in the app, but alas I can’t be mad because they’re people who only got hired and trained.
Was told it was attempted three times, only 2 in my bank, and not ONCE did it pull from the second payment, which money was in for all “3” attempts.
Has happened before so it just laundered like $75 from me.

Long story short, I’m at a big boy gym instead of commercial. Double the price of black card, QUADRUPLE the benefits and size of the facility. The dumbbells max at 150??!

Absolutely an Awesome Planet Fitness in Fishkill. The Management, and staff are top rate, and knowledgeable in running this fitness center, and very friendly in welcoming you when you come in the door. PF in Fishkill is not open 24hrs on Fridays… website says open until 12 Friday night! I get out late on Fridays so drove from Poughkeepsie all the way to fishkill just to be told they’re closing in 15mins! Gentleman did say that’s something they’ve told corporate to change but clearly haven’t and now someone like myself wastes time and gas hoping to squeeze in that last workout of the week just to be told no! Very disappointed! When will there be a gym advertised as 24hrs that is truly 24hrs?

This new location is perfect mainly because of the surrounding business establishments. You can shop, dine, and exercise without the hassle of commuting very far. The staff is very cordial and the place is immaculate.

Squeaky clean new gym in Fishkill - much needed! Thank you for opening here. The cardio area is AAA+++, the weights and machine selections are a solid B. Not nearly as well equipped as other locations, but we can make it work. Staff is super friendly and eager to get to know members. Crowd seems friendly so far. As a female, I feel safe here.

One random weird design choice. There is no locker rooms in this gym. There is a series of individual bathrooms. Some have showers, some don't. While I appreciate the intention with private showers, the lockers are in the main hallway that connect the entire gym. So as you are passing through, you will encounter people sitting on benches changing their stinky shoes and socks (which I actually saw) - ew. It's literally right in the middle of everything. Not sure who chose this design, but it's really really bizarre.

Overall I still know I will be happy here. It's a great location and Planet never disappoints overall. PS check out the new Black Card spa. It's very very nice!

This is based on my first visit last week in the evening. Staff was friendly, and I love the location! The concept of no locker rooms and instead offering all lockers in the open with individual bathrooms/showers takes getting used to, but they were very clean and spacious for changing. I
might suggest adding some hooks or small shelves so a person can use them while changing. The machines and weights were organized well , and I like the windows setup in the dumbbell room, but there is hardly any place to stretch along a wall-how about it ? Also, while the temperature was fine, the humidity made it difficult to feel comfortable while working up a sweat. I wonder if clubs like this should not have additional dehumidifying systems in addition to the conventional A/C systems. My experience was OK; I was hoping to feel impressed given the new construction

DOES NOT MEET STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS. GYM CLAIMS TO BE 24HRS MONDAY-FRIDAY but I went on Friday 06/27 and the gym was locked at 10:30pm and staff was nowhere in the main lobby. I called the lobby number and no answer. Completely disappointed and confused if staff can change standard hours of operation just to go home.

This is to the person who decided to ding the gym with one star for having incorrect hours. Why don't you go to management and tell them their error before you knock them. They only opened a couple of days ago and they may not know about the mistake.

OK, now that that's out of the way, the gym is brand spanking new. It has a unique layout I've never seen. There are no dedicated male/female locker rooms. Instead, they have a myriad of unisex shower and changing rooms. I asked the gal at the front desk about it because I'd never seen this before. She told me they are the pilot gym. They're testing it out. I'll be interested to see in a year how this arrangement fares.

All in all, it's a nice gym with a very unique layout. I enjoyed it.
