Overall this location has great staff, cleaning materials are always replaced, and gym kept clean. Clearly none of the machines are replaced to include the rubber dumbells with chunks of rubber missing. The material on the leg press machines has holes exposing the foam. It has been Luke this for months, looks horrible.

Personally being a former gym manager for the last 7 years I have a clean eye when walking into a new facility for the first time. I was very impressed with the staffs presence upon entering. It was my first time tanning there and he showed me where I was going and the tanning rooms there at the Glenville location had to be the cleanest in the area. Inside, baseboards, floors, benches etc. Tanning everyday makes me look and feel good so walking into a fresh clean room is important to me! Thank you Glenville team! -Hannah

i spend about 1-2 months in the area per year so PF is perfect since it’s actually no contract. $10 a month (better benefits r more) plus one time fee to sign up for like $40 or something…there’s another fee in august but i cancel before then and i’m clear. no hassle, easy to cancel. place itself is clean with good enough locker rooms w showers and the equipment always works. spacious; even during peak hours u can always get something. staff are cool and laid back. go between 1-4 pm if u can to avoid the crowds. hassle free at night as well. recommended for gyms when in the area.

I have been to about 20 different Pf throughout the country. This one is the worst. Way too small. Machines have not been updated as other areas have. Not enough machines The men's room is about the size of an average bedroom. Everything is too close. This pf is 1/5 th the size of Amsterdam NY PF and 1/4th the size of Saratoga NY. This gym is too small for the nice area of Scotia, Glenville, Burnt Hills and Ballston spa areas that surround it.

Terrible management. Management is rude. Employees slack off. They have a “designated section” for 30 minute workouts that is supposed to be monitored but never is. Employees are too busy chatting. massage chair and tanning bed are broken half the time. Don’t waste your money here. There’s better run gyms that are more courteous to their customers and value their customers. It’s just a job and a way to take in revenue with limited customer service or appreciation

I was told by a team member of my local gym that when pausing my membership I have 3 months to resume my membership otherwise it will automatically cancel. Given life circumstances I have been unable to return. Assuming what the gentlemen told me was true I assumed my membership had been cancelled due to lack of inactivity. This was not the case as I checked my bank statement and noticed I have been being charged the last 3 months. When I called to dispute there was absolutely no sympathy or care for the fact that one of their employees, that gets paid to check people in and give accurate information gave incorrect information.

So not only do I feel lied to by the the gym but now I never want to return because I feel essentially lied to and robbed. And kicked while I’m already annoyed because of poor customer service by the manager.

While I looked forward to coming back once this season of busyness within my life of started to ease up a little I have no desire to ever come back if this is how a customer is going to be treated. I will be finding a new gym. Not only that but they refused to take my bank account off of their records when I asked. I have been told there are better gyms in equipment, investment, and how you are treated.

Don't bother with corporate either as they won't help either as each franchise in individually owned and it's left up to management. So management is a clear representation of each individual franchise. I will not be returning and will find a new gym. The gym leadership/ownership has very little principles if this is how they treat their customers when a problem comes up.

Considering their machines that you pay the extra money for are constantly broken, not only can you spend your money better somewhere else, but there are better gyms in equipment and management. It's not just the matter of the money but the ethics behind how they claim their money.

Shows up and checks in at 3:57p 1/28/23 — never been to this location. Gets undressed, lays down, half of the face bulbs are working. Gets dressed, tells two gentleman at front desk. Both look confused while explaining twice that I’m not tanning half of my face. Pushed the stop button after two minutes thinking the bulb needed to warm up. Was turned away after reporting as he can not let me tan…New York state rules? I laid down for a moment on a bed that they should be monitoring frequently. Came in between class at Maria, wasted time and they did not seem to care. Reminder that they should close it down because he didn’t seem to mind that it was broken.

The two gentleman at the desk were liars and were rude. I’m a member here and the manger that was in the morning said I could use the microwave upstairs. It is 11/12/22 @ 3:22 pm. Clean gym with great machines. The price is beyond excellent. The music they play is always much too loud. I hoped I could listen to audio books on my cell phone as I walked on the treadmill when I joined.. I'm finding the music much too loud to adequately listen despite good headphones. I asked personnel if there were times when they had the music less loud. They said no, the volume of the music was set and always was this loud. I'm very disappointed.

Horrible customer service, don’t get me wrong the gym itself is great and awesome to workout at but some of the workers are kind of rude and apparently act as managers even if they aren’t which led to a horrible conversation the real manager because when I had an issue occur with my billing the “manager” decided he was going waive my bill for the next month that didn’t happen and talking to the real manager he constantly just tried to make it seem like it was my fault that someone came to a decision without his knowledge and kept trying to blame me because my billing got messed up even though it was there system that didn’t charge correctly

Schenectady gym needs an overhaul. Some equipment doesn't work properly - incline back extension is broken and bolted to one position. The upstairs space is poorly designed - no real stretch area or light weights just more cardio. They lack the space and equipment to be a true gym - they're more of an express gym. Most machines are dangerously cramped together to make space for cardio equipment and they don't have a prone glute press machine. Although the staff seems friendly and this could be a fantastic gym with some adjustments I will have to move on to another location.

Wife had membership for one year, and barely went. Cancelled membership before year ended. Membership automatically renewed against our will, and they refused to issue a refund. This planet is only busy once in a while. They have what you need, but it's very small. missing some of the machines I like. The ab area is super small and split up.
