I wish Central Crossing plaza could keep the parking lot cleaner. Is normal to see all kind of trash. Empty plastic bags, pizza boxes, empty bottles, you name it.

All new equipment, which is nice. But everything’s crammed into a small space. You’re literally working out on top of everyone. The locker rooms are smaller than the old location in Nanuet. And the cleaning stations are few and hidden. Basically, like working out in your basement gym.

I wish that when people review a place they gave a fair reviews, go to the place when it's open. This is one of the best planet fitness facilities I have been too... and also one of the biggest in the area.... All the machine are new and faculty is freindly.

First gym I ever went to that didn't have a plate loaded leg press. But location convenient, shower had soap. I probably wouldn't go on a leg day to this location. I just joined pf , usually go to regular gyms so maybe it's just how chain gyms are. Will find out when I try others.

Good location but Rockland Bakery is right outside so after your workout, when your starving, the first thing you smell is fresh bread. RIP self control. There are no individual tvs on the work stations so your stuck watching the dribble of the major media outlets.

Horrible experience so far. When my boyfriend and I joined last week, the girl helping us didn't give us a tour and when asked about the "Total Body Enhancement" machine, she couldn't tell us much about it and said she "never used it because she's scared". Ummmm?? That's not really a great way to sell your equipment.
I went in this morning for my 1st visit and no one was at the desk. We just moved to the area and I can't find my gym bag at the moment, so I needed a lock for a locker. I asked the girl who finally came out of the back room and she looked at me like I had 2 heads... like asking to purchase a lock was a crazy question. Well, no... no locks are sold and apparently neither are towels. Plus, they still didn't have the free tshirt for me from when I signed up.
I started my workout on an elliptical machine, which was rusted (as just about 90% are)... finished up and wanted to tan. I asked the same girl if I could use bed 1, and so she asked the guy next to her, who must've been preoccupied on his phone to understand because I was never asked if I had goggles... so, whatever... I went into the room, undressed, applied my lotion, got into the bed and layed there for about 5 minutes. I kept pressing the [disgusting] 'start' button and it never turned on. I then got redressed and went to clean the bed and there isn't any spray cleaner in there!!
What kind of place is this?! I've been to several PF locations and have never dealt with any of these issues! Very unprofessional, dirty and outdated. I don't even want to go back, but I signed the stupid contract.

Just signed up. Seemed relatively clean, wasn't busy. Which I like. A little disappointed that I wasn't at least given a tour of the facilities. I was just given my membership card and sent off.

I love planet fitness, but this particular one, not so loved. I'm on the road quite a bit and have been to maybe 15-20 different Planet Fitness locations over the past year. There have been a couple locations that don't seem as good as others, but this one takes the cake! More like the old cake that fell on the floor. I went at about 3:30 on a Wednesday. It was fairly slow, which is the way I like it. It was so slow, that the employees didn't even have the time to great me as I entered or left, which is oddly the first time I think that has ever happened to me (Kudos to all the other PF locations). It was so busy, that their was trash all over the floors in the gym and locker room. I was there for an hour and did not see a single person clean. Another first! I have always seen employees cleaning at other PF locations. Most of the customers weren't even wiping down the machines, so I was wiping them down before and after each use. If I come down with a staph infection, I know where to point. The air was warm/stale/muggy, which made me cut my workout short because it was too uncomfortable. The machines, oh the machines!! There have been 3 generations of upgrades since these weight machines were out. Some of these machines I haven't seen in 10-15 years. And some of the machines were out of whack/alignment. I actually hurt myself a little on the fly machine because it was pulling to the left. As a precaution with many of them, I went ahead and did about 20-30lbs less, so that I wouldn't hurt myself. And the locker room... Nasty! It was very dirty! very! It almost made me feel like I was in a third world country bath house or something. I didn't even change my socks because I didn't want my feet to touch the floor. I haven't been to any other gyms in this general area, so I don't know how it compares with others around here. But for me, it was the worst gym I have ever stepped foot in.

I appreciate the friendly staff and the condition of the equipment. The locker room is palatial compared to my previous PF location before I moved. However, they are lacking in a few ways compared to my old PF. The hours are a little frustrating, especially since they are listed on the door directly under a sign saying that they are open 24 hours (my old gym was in fact 24/7). I tend to work late hours, so if I get back to Nanuet after 9:00, they'll start shutting the lights off while I'm working out. I also miss things like the stretching cages and scales. The spray bottles and paper towels also tend to be in short supply or poor condition.

*I did just check the hours on google, and see that they are open 24 hours mon-thurs. that's helpful to know, but the way it is posted on the door is a bit confusing.

I have had a good experience with this gym. It's clean and well-stocked. Most importantly, when I needed to cancel, the process was nearly instant. It took maybe 2 minutes and happened without a hitch. I appreciated that.
